I’ve had to mute some bits of the video due to copyright, basically because I had about 30 seconds of a song clip (that I got from an allegedly copyright free website) the artist claims all the revenue from the 30min+ video that I spent hours making (probably about 50p but that’s not the point). This is why there are some bits that don’t really sound right 🤷♀️
I am a qualified housing officer and by my standards, your bodywork skills are second to none Sir Tim! Well done on providing another great automotive technical tutorial 👍
Thas a tryer lad that's for sure, nowt wrong with that job. Never done any bodywork in my life, but I think the secret is, several boring thin layers instead of one large McAlpine mix of filler. Brilliant as ever, who needs Mike and Ed when this guy is here. Keep it up Bud, it's sure is fekking entertaining. A great watch, warts and all.
A veritable masterclass sir. As a fully qualified layabout/piss artist I proclaim you fully able in body working. Just not car body working. Nice one dude.👍
Bien hecho otra vez amigo, i was shouting at the screen, stoppppp, when you were adding tooooo much hardener, but it all worked out good in the end. Been filling a few holes in my transit van the past few days so know what its like !!
It's a tutorial in the broadest sense of the word and a good one. It'll get the car through an MOT and looks decent enough. Cheers again. (Polished Man is a great cause mate)
I would say not bad for a first try. Me being a perfectionist could not proceed to next level with the paint run that's for sure! Great job Tim! Can we see a video where you fabricate a body kit out of body filler and fibre glass?
You don’t have to use it with water, only use it with water for a finer finish as I do near the end of the vid when sanding the primer down and flatting the lacquer before polishing it etc.
This reminds me of my younger days when every car you got had rusty holed wheel arches.. rite of passage to fill them up and paint, doing a terrible job as a teenager

Probably just a fluke that every now and then when I attempt paint work it goes ok,.. put enough monkeys in a room and they’ll type Shakespeare and all that 🤷♀️
I think so too, I also think it didn’t help that I’d left the coat underneath it to dry, so was sat on shiny hard paint rather than paint that was still tacky.

Thanks mate and yea, I think thin skims is the key… but that’s slow and boring 🤷♀️
Looks mint that. Better than the body shop I've last used....
I surprised myself tbh.

Haha yea it went off way too fast. When it comes to holes and being holy, transits can get pretty biblical lol
Nice job. I have done the same on MX5's.
Cheers mate. MX5s love to rot at the sills!
Hehee !❤ excellent ! once mixed spread filler thin on your mixing board it takes it longer to set ! Less heat 😊
I’ll try that next time

Nowt 'rong wi that job! Looking forward to your next episode. 😀
Thanks mate, same time next week?
Omg that’s good!!!! Defo did a great job there mate!
Cheers, I was well surprised with the outcome tbh haha
In all honesty, it doesn't look too bad! You saved it from the scrap which is the main thing.
It’s better than it was when I started, so I’m happy with that.

That sounds like a job for the other C1 😂
@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos That's probably a job left to someone with more skill than you, such as a child, or a very stupid chimpanzee? Hahaha 😁
See I knew it! You could put a wide wheel spacers to widen the stance of the C1 and then also widen the side skirts and the front and rear bumpers.
@@Gourmondise I’ll just try feeding it some pies, that usually makes me wider…
Bloody good job that well done mate 👍 comical too
Better luck than judgment I think 🤣
Another great video as usual 🫶
Thanks 😊

3 door = racecar.
5 door = more ho’s.
