Such a raw experience. The only trips I remember are the ones like these where I get destroyed by the environment! Lovely grading.

I mean freezing on the motorcycle was not the best and I was very scared of the storm. But I really loved the icebergs and the black desert ☺️

Good to hear, mate. I've still got my first learner bike, an old and very battered cb250. It still looks rough, but has been mechanically restored. Every new bike I've had runs rings around it, but we've been through a lot together, it's like an old friend. I was hoping you'd be keeping the XJ. It's clear that you've been through alot on it, and your videos seem as if you feel connected to it, too.

So sorry to see your struggles with everything and particularly the wind - wow. It's such a shame you lost the windscreen extension. I have one on my XJ600 and it makes a huge difference to your comfort in deflecting the wind awayfrom you. Good luck on the next leg of your journey.

Well yes. Because I have one of those semi water proof iPhones form 5 or 8 years ago. And it’s usually amazing for travel because it has no problem with rain. But it was just so mutch water that it kept the phone from charging. Because water would get in to the charging port. So I put a condome over the phone. Because you can still completely use the phone tutch screen and everything but it’s completely protected from the water

Big respect for showing everything even the bad stuff like broken gear. Most "influencers" show us this fake life where everything is always perfect and everyone is perfect but this is just not true and you show us the reality. Big respect for that.

@@berTRAMP most of the bigger youtubers with their roadtrips have sponsors and stuff. this guy just works a "mediocre" job and likes to do these trips. i do agree with better preparing in terms of gear, but sometimes not everything in life is to be prepared for. new gear is really expensive, a side mount with suitcases for my sv 650 costs a whopping 800 euro for some quality stuff...
@wouterattheorgan thanks for this comment. I recently bought a cheap interceptor 650 and I was absolutely shocked about the prices of side cases and the side case mounts and just everything. Almost nothing starts below 500 bucks it’s insane
@@FreeMilesMC indeed, i am thinking of visiting a friend in denmark coming summer by motorcycle and was looking at those mounts. but maybe it is better for me to ride as far as i can in 1 day and perhaps get there.
I am not scared of the ride though, more for (german) police not liking my exhaust xD

G'day mate. Such a shame the weather turned in to complete shit and what can go wrong has gone wring.... Murphy's law... Ugh. Your the 2nd Motorbikevlogger I follow who's hit really shit weather. It’s just part of motorcycle travel. It’s not the first time but was definitely the worst time 😂
