Just watched your new video amazing work from behind the waterfall. And you are honest about how being on the road for long periods on your own can sometimes get lonely
Love the video keep up the good work
For me this wouldn't be an adventure, it's just an unpleasant endurance. Like continually hitting your head against a brick wall - it's brilliant when you stop doing it! However, each to their own. I look forward to watching the coming videos. 👍👍👍
Yes you are right. Sadly you only find out when you do the trip. I actually imagined this trip very differently 😂😂
As always a great episode! Safe rides and best wishes :)
Thank you☺️
I have been binge watching your videos since last night, and I got to watch this new one now! Your videos are very honest and makes me want to go out on my own adventures. I hope the youtube thing works out well for you, because it's always nice to see someone do what they love to do!
I Hope so too. It’s still a Long way to Go, but i think the basic foundation for this Channel is quit good
I've been to that waterfall. Iceland is a very cool place to travel around. The wind is real ;-)
Very cool! i just got back from my sunday drive. You inspire me to go on more advanced adventures :)
Thats nice to hear, i Hope you will have some great Adventures ☺️
Sehr geile videos immer weiter sooo😊
00:10 19:05 I'm sure plenty of other bikers watching this felt these moments in their stomach 😞 fuckin hell man, you're a warrior 💪🏽🏍️💨
Thanks for your appreciation, yes the wind was very intense ☺️
The bike is keeping you in shape the wrong way....
Haha yes 😂
Seriuosly.... since your battery is half dead and you are not replacing it (very odd) , I would recommend you not to plugin for charge all your devices before start. And if possible turn off the light before start... Then there is a good chance it will start...secondly you must have a charger with you on such a trip so remove battery every evening and set it to charge overnight.
But seriously get the battery fixed, and the bike in general... It's refreshing that you choose to ride on a semi old bike, but you could make sure it is in good running before rideout ... Proper checkup and seevice.
Good further trip.
@FreeMilesMC ...Pro tip for next push start. gain speed while in neutral, then clutch and gear in 2nd. because pushing while geared in and only using clutch has more friction compared to neutral. Cheers...awesome video btw.
Thank you for the Tip. That's Probably some advanced old budget bike knowledge ;).
@@FreeMilesMC 1998 honda africa twin...gained some experience push starting 😉
I feel nervous watching your videos. Incredible adventure!!! Good luck
Awesome, you are so brave and tough man, hold on!
Everything will turn to the better.
Even if i could be your father easily, you are still an example to me.
And: What you do does make sense! Think of the impact that your videos will have in many people!
I am sure your channel will grow consistently, if you stay consistently!
Really try to find someone who can help you fix the starter issue.
I am happy that I am able that I could inspire you☺️. I also hope that the channel continues to grow consistently. I hope to inspire some people to just take the bike they have on a tour ☺️
Moin Miles Pawel hier
Those tyres are proving to be the best choice for this trip.
Yes they are very good. it really turns the XJ in to quit a off-road machine.
P.S. Thank you for your Support ;)
Respect!!!
Mach weiter so!
I have a Versys 650 in south of Iceland. Did not ride it until 20th of June this year. Horrendous weather.
Watching you explains why😂 😂😂
Yes, wet socks don't please everybody. The good thing is their impressions evaporate fairly quickly, though. 😊 Man, what a ride! You'd take a day in hell as vacation after this, nicely warm and no wind!
Could it be that your XJ won't start due to carburettor settings? Idle fuel too low? It seems she's turning over well and doesn't misfire once she's going, so ignition and a weak starter don't seem to be the root of the issues.
Anyway: A most enjoyable video! 🤗
Yes it will be something with the carburetor. I will be fixing it at home. Because a Mechanik im iceland is Crazy expencive
@@FreeMilesMC There should be a little hand wheel under the carburettors to adjust the idle. Maybe richen it up a little while you are in the cold weather there. Cold air is denser, thus you have more oxygen per volume. This can disturb carburettor function.
@@zweispurmopped already did that, I think the problem is there is dirt in the carburetors from the bike sinking in the mud. I had a similar issue another time, that’s was caused by the sand from the Sahara after the Morocco tour
@@FreeMilesMC Good guess, yepp. After 30 years of fuel injection in most cars one forgets how touchy carbs were…
I hope you are able to warm up - I felt cold just watching you. Your problem with starting the XJ must be really annoying - maybe damp in the electrics somewhere given the climate. I hope you can sort it and that the weather improves.
That's a real workout, pushing your bike!
Have you tried turning it on and off with the key and trying again to start it?
I'm sure you have, it works sometimes
Yes you are right sometimes that works
green man
With the suit I look like the tipical BMW GS rider :)
How could you chooce the worst place to be with a motorbike? You like wind, rain, cold and not much to see in the middle of the summer? Why you didn`t choose a sunny, beautifull and friendly country to explore, such as Italy,Greece...etc? Safe ride!
Salut, mon pneu s’appelle TKC80.
✌️Safe ride
Hi! What tire do you have on front and rear? : )
I am running the TKC80 tire
Tell me you got someone to look at your bike in Reykjavik and try and fix the problem....
Sadly not, because its very expensive in Iceland, and I am in quit a strickt time seedual because I have to go back to work.
Man, if I were livin in Iceland, I would just buy you a new battery and check the bike so you wouldn't have to fight it everytime you want to start it, it's such a shame you cannot enjoy your trip as supposed to
Oh, thank you That is soo kind. Actually even tho staring the bike is a bit tuff it’s not holding me back. I think the issue lays somewhere in the carburetors
@FreeMilesMC either way, big props for what you're doing, I'm currently fixing an 32yo transalp, and I just couldn't imagine myself dealing with all the issues while on a journey.... I whish you safe travel, be safe, have fun.
@@FreeMilesMC I'm pretty sure it's the rust in the tank again. Get it fixed when you're home. It's one problem less on your next trips 🙂
One more tip: switch to soft luggage instead of hard cases.
Keep those videos coming, and stay positive!
2:15 bro gona get laid.
Hello, I wrote you a message on insta where I offer my garage tools and help if you can use it on your way back though Denmark, where i live.
