    Just watched your new video amazing work from behind the waterfall. And you are honest about how being on the road for long periods on your own can sometimes get lonely
    Love the video keep up the good work

    For me this wouldn't be an adventure, it's just an unpleasant endurance. Like continually hitting your head against a brick wall - it's brilliant when you stop doing it! However, each to their own. I look forward to watching the coming videos. 👍👍👍

    Seriuosly.... since your battery is half dead and you are not replacing it (very odd) , I would recommend you not to plugin for charge all your devices before start. And if possible turn off the light before start... Then there is a good chance it will start...secondly you must have a charger with you on such a trip so remove battery every evening and set it to charge overnight.
    But seriously get the battery fixed, and the bike in general... It's refreshing that you choose to ride on a semi old bike, but you could make sure it is in good running before rideout ... Proper checkup and seevice.
    Good further trip.

    @FreeMilesMC ...Pro tip for next push start. gain speed while in neutral, then clutch and gear in 2nd. because pushing while geared in and only using clutch has more friction compared to neutral. Cheers...awesome video btw.

    Moin Miles Pawel hier
    also ja man kann natürlich sitzenbleiben auf dem Motorrad aber wenn du aufstehst senkst du den schwerpunkt deines körpers und damit des motorrads und es ist stabiler und dann kannst du auch schneller als 40 fahren. Deswegen stehen die meisten auf.
    Eigentlich will ich gar nicht meckern macht Spaß dir zuzuschauen und auch wenn das Wetter mau ist props an dich das du das so durchziehst. Mach weiter so und ich feue mich auf die nächste episode.

    • @s30foot43
      @s30foot43 Рік тому

      also den Schwerpunkt verändert man dadurch definitiv nicht - und bei der ergonomie vom Motorrad ist stehen glaub ich auch nicht gerade angenehm...

    • @pawesuczyk6463
      @pawesuczyk6463 Рік тому +1

      @@s30foot43 na klar ist ja keine enduromaschine deswegen würde ich es ja auch nicht stehen aber natürlich senkst du den schwerpunkt vom motorrad wenn du dich auf die fußrasten stellst denn deine 80kilo oder wie viel man wiegt nicht auf 90cm höhe vom boden angreifen sondern auf 30 und das ist schon ein großer unterschied. Du kannst dadurch das schwimmen vom Motorrad besser kontrolieren etc.

    I have a Versys 650 in south of Iceland. Did not ride it until 20th of June this year. Horrendous weather.
    Watching you explains why😂 😂😂

  • @zweispurmopped
    @zweispurmopped Рік тому +1

    Yes, wet socks don't please everybody. The good thing is their impressions evaporate fairly quickly, though. 😊 Man, what a ride! You'd take a day in hell as vacation after this, nicely warm and no wind!
    Could it be that your XJ won't start due to carburettor settings? Idle fuel too low? It seems she's turning over well and doesn't misfire once she's going, so ignition and a weak starter don't seem to be the root of the issues.
    Anyway: A most enjoyable video! 🤗

    • @FreeMilesMC
      @FreeMilesMC  Рік тому +1

      Yes it will be something with the carburetor. I will be fixing it at home. Because a Mechanik im iceland is Crazy expencive

    • @zweispurmopped
      @zweispurmopped Рік тому +1

      @@FreeMilesMC There should be a little hand wheel under the carburettors to adjust the idle. Maybe richen it up a little while you are in the cold weather there. Cold air is denser, thus you have more oxygen per volume. This can disturb carburettor function.

    • @FreeMilesMC
      @FreeMilesMC  Рік тому +1

      @@zweispurmopped already did that, I think the problem is there is dirt in the carburetors from the bike sinking in the mud. I had a similar issue another time, that’s was caused by the sand from the Sahara after the Morocco tour

    I hope you are able to warm up - I felt cold just watching you. Your problem with starting the XJ must be really annoying - maybe damp in the electrics somewhere given the climate. I hope you can sort it and that the weather improves.
