Thank you for your excellent review! Great interpretation of how to use our product, for all folks reading please note when tightening the top onto the keg, it is best not to overtighten this piece as doing so will make it difficult to remove as mentioned in the vid, we suggest stopping the turn before "death grip" as the O Ring on the Keg's lip will do the rest of the sealing itself, rather than needing to be death grip tightened on, doing that will also cause the nut on the underside (the nut is where plastic tube connects) to loosen over time (which is not a big problem since you can tighten with the wrench as needed..but still!) To the author: this video was pretty much flawless and awesome for us to see considering you are a real customer and this was unsolicited! Thank you for the support (shared to our Facebook page with a link to your channel)
Son just gave me one for birthday. Nice video. Really appreciate it. First batch is chilling in the fridge!
Great video! I’ve easily spent thousands on Starbucks and am looking to save money so buying this seems worth it if the taste is there, which everyone I’ve heard so far says it is. Thank you.
This is an extremely well done review. Subbed
Thanks! We've got some further reviews/experiments in the craft space lined up. Stay tuned!
Wife bought one for me today. It came with no canisters but I'm hoping to try this put with my alcohol infused coffee beans that I roast
Have you tried the N2 instead of NO2? I heard it tastes better and I think some of the chained coffee shops use N2 to create a better texture foam.
How long does it stay cold out of the fridge
what the deal using two 2g or one 8G like they say on the site? Hows that work? And why does it say needs to sit for over an hour for nitrogen.
Thank you for that! Mine didn't dispense the coffee as quickly. What was the weight of your nitrogen chargers?
Josh, offhand I am not sure, but the link in the description are the chargers that I bought off of amazon. (they are not an affiliate link/I do not get paid on it, just put it there to share with the viewing audience).
Is it hard to fit this in the refrigerator? I feel like it would be too tall for mine
My fridge has adjustable shelves so I've made it work by adjusting the shelf height. It's not overly tall but may not fit on the standard shelf distribution
Hi, I’m wondering if this could be used for beer dispensing as well. I don’t know the difference
Abhi, I would not recommend trying with beer. It may work, but I am not aware of how well the beer would keep in the tank, and also the introduction of nitrogen may affect the taste. Probably best to only use cold brew coffee
@@stargazercraftcoffee9986 Thanks for the response.
what does the key ring on the spear part do?
Release nitrous when it's empty and you want to clean it
At what point can you add sugar to it?
If you want to add sugar I would only do it after you pour it into a cup to drink it.
You can easily crank your finished product up a notch in quality by weighing your coffee and water instead of "measuring" it. Weight is much more precise and produces consistent repeatable results. I use 60 grams of coffee for one liter of water, filtered water that is. Try it, an OXO digital scale is cheap and does the job well.
