    To stop dripping:
    Tap your glass on the edge of the stout faucet tip after you've closed the tap handle or lightly shake the keg forward to get the remaining coffee to flow out of the tip. Use our included tap plug to close off the faucet tip.
    Note: After you close the tap handle there is still excess foam in stout faucet tip and there is no pressure from the keg (because the tap is closed) to force the remaining foam out of the stout faucet tip. Once the foam starts to settle, it then leaks out of the end of the faucet tip. This occurs with most tapping systems, especially nitro taps with a stout spigot. The keg itself isn't actually leaking, it's a matter of getting all of the foam out of the faucet tip after you've closed the tap.

    I've had an OXO cold brew kit for years. It's a great way to make the coffee concentrate.

    i get a lot of head but the coffee underneath the head doesn't seem to have nitro bubbles. the only bubbles i get are the ones stuck to the glass. do you recommend using a 2nd cartidge? I'm using nitrous oxide (not nitrogen.)

    Hey, Jeff. Do you need a special cold brew coffee to make this Nitro coffee? I'm still an old drip coffee guy myself. I haven't even taken the step to pods or kcups yet.

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 роки тому +3

      Lol...no you don't need special cold brew coffee...I've had mixed results with the cold brew I make at home. I recently bought a pumpkin spice cold brew from the store and it was amazing. Making it yourself takes a little trial and error before you can get it right. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

    To make the concentrate is that 7 ounces by weight or by volume? I did 7 ounces of coffee by weight and i couldn't get enough water in to make 16 ounces of concentrate. Just use a measuring cup?

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 роки тому +1

      Volume would be my guess... and yes a measuring cup works best. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

      It makes the cold brew creamy tasting and adds foam to the coffee. Thanks for checking it out.

    Remember years ago when all the craze was whipped cream dispenser's that used Nitrous like this thing, you really can use any kind of gas to do this, I'm just not seeing the point, other than they know people will be doing the exact same thing they did with the whipped cream nitrous, and it wasn't making whipped cream lol

    • @Jeffreviews4u
      @Jeffreviews4u  2 роки тому +2

      It makes the cold brew coffee extra creamy. This company recommends getting whipped cream nitrous. Thanks for stopping by and commenting.

    • @respond_code3
      @respond_code3 Рік тому

      @will2dmax that makes no sense. The Whipcream canisters are cheaper to do whippets if someone wanted the high. Why would anyone buy this to inhale nitrous? It's not nearly as convenient due to its size. Secondly. For coffee people typically use N2 not N2o, which is what kids would use to get high. N2o is Nitrous, N2 is nitrogen. Literally the air you breath.
      And 3rd. If you don't see the point then you have clearly never had nitro brewed coffee or soda. It gives you a creamy butter smooth mouth feel

  • @will2dmax1
    @will2dmax1 2 роки тому +1

    So, exactly what's the point of the Nitrous, does it make you laugh when you drink it LOLOL
