Feedback: it works! I used N2o carts but it still tasted good. Foam and texture really nice. Was getting good cups for about 2 days then it lost it’s taste. Well made, looks good, tap works nicely although it drips like mad.
The drops is part of the game. Go to a bar, and you'll see the droplets coming out of the taps. They have a grate that funnels all that to a drain. If you have a DIY keg build, you will have the same deal. Seeing that as a problem is laughable. Invest in a kitchen towel if you can afford it. I am going to try your overnight technique now. yeah it is too be expected. If you have it in your fridge overnight, that is when it is a problem since you will see some drips in your fridge that is after you pour.
@@wellokayyes1266 -- for Nitro Cold Brew+Sparkling Water, it's usually a half cup of sparkling water and quarter cup of coffee. For me it's based on energy that morning (lol) and taste. It's probably not for everybody, but I found it's the best zero calorie drink that tastes great and has a lot of fizz.
Mines not dispensing!!!!!! Psi stays at 0 after putting 2 carts in. When I adjust psi with knob, nothing happens. It it leaking out when I try to charge it? What do I do? Am I not putting it on hard enough?
yes you can just remove it once it is charged. You can buy N20 or N2 chargers. I think N2 is what you should use but I get great results with N20 which is cheaper.

Bryan Patton Ahhaha it doesn’t make cold brew it just puts nitrogen in it. The batch from Starbucks I had a few years ago was terrible. I have not had it since. It was burnt. That is why I like making my own for about ¢25 a glass. And a dollar more I get four classes of nitro!

Rona Christman Coffer pros found that more often than not, commercial grade coffee beans don’t really have consistency in the quality of their beans (different sized, cracked, older etc in a single batch), and when roasting them the beans are often not evenly roasted either. I think the “commercial coffee” taste usually has to do with that?
I am not sure. It seems to be a huge keg for such a small amount of coffee. Maybe you need to fill it up more with Nitrogen? Maybe you need more coffee? Maybe your spout isn't like this one?
Ahh yes I just figured it out, i put in 2 nitro charger and it work. But now i have problems when cleaning, i can't open the Spear because I don't have the wrench. It's don't come out with the wrench when i bought it
What happened if you dont let it sit overnight? Like for instance you put cold, cold brew into it, then shake it for a couple of minutes what would the head look like? Asking for my coffee cart if its quick enough.
I’m with you don’t like paying the high price at Starbucks for it. I bought one of these machines I noticed a difference my coffee taste great, but the nitrogen foam does not last more than 10 minutes or so if you’re buying Starbucks, the nitrogen foam last almost an hour if you’re sipping at your cup, is there a way to improve this?
Hi Mr. Flowers. Great question. I think the only difference is the price and they are harder to find pure N2. I was told they are basically the same thing. Maybe I will do a comparison video on this since i am sure the N2 are better.

Almost like the after feeling of sniffing the gas or doing balloons in college. If that makes sense. The hangover headache were coming and going all day. I seem to piece it to the no2. Maybe it was leaking gas previously. The video from Amazon shows it coming out as foam also and taking a few minutes to settle. Initially though it poured exactly like yours
Foaming can be cause by using improper gas the n2o used in the video is the incorrect gas for nitro cold brew, the proper gas would be n2 otherwise know as pure nitrogen, it gives a nice frothy creamy texture vs foam.

you can add sugar or cream but the mouth feel it makes creates a creamy feeling. Its just nitrogen infused coffee like from starbucks! I make it about once a week in the summer.
Wesley Matthews yes true I saw it last for I think $160 or $170. Prices change often. But still if you get cold brew twice a week that is 10 bucks not including time and gas. So it will be worth it after about 17 week or less depending on how much your time is worth and how far Starbucks is and how much you drink. I would not recommend it unless you loved nitro. But like my coffee roaster I love it and can see me using it for years to come and I think it is a no brainer. I should have got one years ago.

Hi Kasey. It depends but we just did a video on the cold brew from Trade Coffee. We used their cold brew bags which is about 3oz of coffee then we fill a mason jar to about 20 oz. Sam likes stronger cold brew more than me.
8 months later. Advice. Depends how strong you like it. Helps to experiment and get your ratio dialed. Personally, I like it strong. You can always water down a little later. I also found that I get good taste with only a 12 hour steep. Some like 16 to 24 hours. That’s my two cents.
yes but in my case I was using the whippets for whipped cream and it works basically the same. You can find n2 chargers too but they might be harder to find.
oh hi! I just make it stronger with more coffee to water ratio and maybe leave it steeping longer. I would experiment since it depends on the type of coffee you use and freshness. I use about a cup of ground coffee for a 6 cup batch which is concentrated. You don't have to make it cold brew either. You can make iced coffee which i seem to prefer. It has more flavor but it is more acidic.
I would want one that you can hook up to a nitrogen tank, because I doubt these companies will survive for more than 5 years selling the cartridges. Other than that it looks very nice.

yeah i want to get a rubber cap for mine since it drips a lot. I think using real N2 will help but they are harder to find.

i dont know. I have not had that problem. It should make a compression sound when you put it on. Maybe you can get a replacement if it is broken?

I have 5 liter keg, i fill it with 1.6 liquid of coffee cold brew but it doesn't comes out with foam on it. What would i do?

Mine is coming out all foam. It worked great for the first few times but now I'm having all kinds of issues. Any ideas why?
I don't know. I have not experienced problems. Are you filling it to the correct height? did you use a new type of gas?

The nitro coffee is not infused with nitrous oxide it is just nitrogen

Yes you are right...Nitrous is just easier to find and cheaper and almost as good.
Add 1 or 2 cloves into your cold brew. You’ll be surprised at the taste

Why would you make cold brew, put it in this thing and then wait a freaking day? I bought one thinking it made the cold brew for you. If I already made it, I'm just gonna drink it. Now, I wasted a ton of money on something I'm never going to use.
