🧨 If you're a bit overwhelmed by the different model of gaming monitors, our buying guide will run you through all the key features and technologies you need to know about 🧨
Hey everyone, welcome Ravin' Reviews. We're excited today to bring you a review of an excellent gaming monitor with a lot of special features. From blue-light filter technology to crystal clear imaging, this monitor has it all. So, let's get right into it! Today we’ll be looking at the MSI Optix G271 eSports gaming monitor. MSI is known within the gaming market as one of the top options in monitors for both casual and competitive video game players, and today we’ll be breaking down some of its features, what the monitor excels at, what MSI did to make this a great option for those of you looking to purchase a gaming monitor. MSI’s monitor offers full HD, 1920 by 1080p resolution, meaning you will be able to enjoy better, more detailed visuals. The monitor measures in with a panel size of 27 inches, or 69 centimeters, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. This is an LCD monitor, with a brightness of 250 nits, meaning this monitor is at its best in a darker room. The contrast ratio is 1,000 to 1, which is right up there with the industry standard. The G271 also comes with two 1.4b HDMI’s, one 1.2a display port, and a single earphone port. The monitor also comes with a single HDMI port. The MSI Optix G271 excels at maximizing your setup for gaming, and backs that up immediately with a super smooth 144 Hertz refresh rate. When put up next to the industry standard of 60 hertz, the difference is night and day, with a much smoother experience. The Optix G271 also succeeded in limiting latency significantly, with a 1 millisecond response time IPS panel which comes in handy when you’re playing an ultra fast game genre like FPS, MOBA, or RTS. MSI promises that their focus on quick response time will pay off when having to make fast, precise decisions in game, which is why this monitor was built with competitive eSports players in mind.
The IPS monitor does more than just provide a smoother experience, though, as it also completely removes image distortion from the equation. The IPS monitor is able to maintain a consistent viewing experience from almost any angle, and with only minimal color shifts while doing so. MSI’s monitor also provides a crystal clear image, and optimizes both brightness as well as screen color to not only give you the best experience possible, but also to help protect your eyes as well. MSI’s anti-flicker technology reduces the amount of flicker that you are experiencing significantly, further preventing eye fatigue and giving you a much more comfortable viewing experience. Although flicker is almost imperceivable to the naked eye, standard monitors can produce a flicker rate close to 200 times per second, which can put a lot of strain on you over extended viewing sessions. MSI chose a very narrow bezel for the Optix G271 to maximize immersion, allowing gamers to easily add multiple monitors for an even better gaming experience. The IPS monitor plus the ultra-thin bezel means that you will be able to create a 180 degree setup while enjoying awesome continuity between each of the screens. This is a great addition whether you’re a gamer or just want multiple monitors for work or general computing. This monitor was built for customization, and that includes a tiltable monitor. The Optix G271 is very easy to adjust, and this feature ensures maximum ergonomics and for you to further tinker with your setup. The tiltable design works well with the IPS screen, meaning you can adjust the setup if you find sitting in one position for too long is giving you aches or pains. And that wraps up our review of the MSI Optix G271 monitor, a great choice for gamers looking for a monitor that helps get the most out of their gaming setup. @@RideTheSkies and it gas hdmi 2 port
I got and it wasn’t letting me did u find the problem I think it’s something to do with hdmi port
Do you need a pc ???
Excellent until the pixels start to die. First one had a defective pixel as soon as I booted it up, replacement has a stuck pixel too. 10 days of use later. Haven't even wiped the screen yet. In the last 15 days 6 people mentioned having the same problem and some said the amount of the dead pixels is growing.
And MSI is like 'deal with it', but if I pay full price for a brand new monitor, I want it to work like brand new too. Shame on the brand. I thought their name means something in the gaming industry.
yea that sucks, ive had mine for about a year and so far nothing has happened. could just be bad luck or i just got lucky cuz i see a lot of people complainin about dead pixels.
@@kingprop7785 Now that's really fortunate because I see way too much people complaining about dead pixels of MSI stuff. Well 2 faulty monitors in a row I think it's obvious that MSI are cheapskates with the screens. And it's one of the most expensive FullHD Monitors here.
@@thenuvolari9834 Yeah i really hope i didnt just jinx myself lol
@@kingprop7785 Hi, what's the status with the monitor now? Still working fine or did you really. jinx yourself? Lol.
@@chineduike7798 Lol yea its still working perfectly. have yet to have any issues with it.
