This video helped in my decision. All monitors are good in similar and different ways but for me, as you said, getting any of these monitors for a good price was an important factor. I ordered a KTC monitor just yesterday and it’ll be coming in sometime next week. Edit #1: It’s been a few days since I’ve had my KTC, and so far, it’s amazing. The change from 60hz to 165hz is a crazy jump but something I had quickly got use to quickly. So far in the FPS games and other games that I’ve played, it feels really nice. Good content, I was looking for a review for budget gaming monitors and suddenly I saw this which is amazing. For the price and availability, I'll go with the Koorui.
Are any of these 3 monitors better than the Gigabyte G24F? In terms of color, ghosting and response time? The Koorui monitor isn't available in my country, but the MSI is. The BenQ EX240 is a little too pricey.
I just ordered a dell g2724d (1440p 165hz) for only £194, from reviews the contrast is good for IPS and the response time is insane (6.5ms complete transition at 165hz, 7.6ms at 120hz) with good brightness too
im wondering how the koorui monitor can be so different in response time tests, when optimum measured a 3.5ms average and here we have 8ms or something. great video. can we see a test for the Pixio PX248 Pro next time ? :D
Optimum is using a very different testing methodology: 10% to 90% without gamma compensation whereas I'm using RGB5 tolerances and gamma compensation. Please don't directly compare the results.
Optimum uses trash/scam/marketing/misleading 10% to 90% tests without gamma correction, his monitor videos cannot be compared to other who do use actually good testing methodology (like Techless)

Cool channel you have man, just subscribed. If you can get your hands on Koorui GP01 I would love for you to test it. It's a cheap 24 inch Nano IPS panel with a 1440p resolution. I am just curious how would a 24 inch 1440p do, especially in RDR2 with Quality DLSS on.
I can get either the KTC or Koorui at the same price (129€). Which one would you prefer? I mostly game but I also like good colors and hate ghosting/smearing. Great video!
Been looking at the KTC and Koorui Panels for my son, since he is on an old Samsung panel (only VGA & DVI connections) that I can barely overclock to 75hz from it's stock 60. I myself am planning on moving back to 1080p from 1440p (been running 1440p for 8 yrs) as I I want more frames in some of the titles I play and willing to take the hit in image fidelity as I will still have my Acer XF270HU as a secondary panel.
This doesn't make any sense. Fps aren't lost at 1440p unless the GPU is old and not really capable. The system should be built around the GPU first. Get a decent midlevel one, such as a 7800 XT and you can drive really high frame rates at 1440p. That card will play many games at well over 150 fps, at high quality settings for example.
Can you review the Koorui 27E3QK? Its a 1440p 240hz IPS monitor priced at $300 on amazon. Curious how it compares to others in that price range. Thanks!
I got an Onn, Walmart brand monitor for $120 once. It was shockingly awesome. Image was crisp and clean, and colors were deep with dark darks. A few months later I got another one. Same size, same brand... It was pretty bad. What happened?
This was awesome. Just so hard to choose one when so many have all the same specs like you really just gotta order like 5 then choose your favorite and send 4 of them back lmao
Great video! Do the settings and ICC profile you give work with HDR? i.e. Should HDR be turned on? I notice that the gamma calibration point using a test image is different when HDR is turned on - something like 1.9 compared to 2.2 with HDR turned off (using your settings and profile).
I’ve been looking for a monitor for awhile now and this have been the best monitor review I’ve ever seen. Will definitely be picking up a KTC. Thank you man
@techless Have you seen that M27QX is again in stock everywhere? Now its rev 2.0. Could you find it for review please and see if they changed anything actually? Cuz in specs there's not much of a difference.
Good to see some displays of this quality at a good affordable prices, actual progress happening but at 1080p. pretty shocked by KTC coming in with so many respectable monitors, I might try the 1440p one with mini-LED
I got a 1440p 144hz 1920x1080 Omen montior for like 119 or smthn, and heard great things about Koorui as a brand. Its definitely not a scam just make sure you look at the reviews because like this video shows if you really care about things like colour accuracy and low light performance etc some wont be for you.
Don't get a 1440p unless your gpu can handle it, if it can't you'll get lower fps and changing the resolution to 1080p might not look great on a 1440p monitor
@@ShuroiiI have to disagree, a high pixel density is worth a lot, there is a reason Apples displays look so good. I would love for there to be more 1440p 24“ screens, as they just look far sharper than FHD 24“ or 1440 27“.
You make a good reviews. In my country the price of Msi G2412, Asus tuf VG249Q and AOC 24G2SP is around $180-196. Which one is better? Koorui costs approximately $155. I want to wait for 11.11 or New Year’s sales, and I’ll take what will be optimal in terms of price-quality ratio.
Lg ultragear monitor 24 inch 165hz 1ms is the best budget monitor and has the best color accuracy I recommend it for anyone who wants an affordable monitor
Seems about right, being "cheap" but each with a compromise here and there in the display specs, and things like buying a 3rd party stand that would increase the budget
That one seems really good. If you’re looking for something cheaper, I’d also recommend the Acer SB242Y EBI. It’s a 24” IPS monitor that runs at 100 Hz and costs like $80. It’s an incredible deal.
@@DIEGO-sl7cs Yeah, 100 Hz it's a good middle point, since higher refresh rates have diminishing returns. You're free to go for 144 Hz, but most of the time I'd say it's not even worth it.
@@DIEGO-sl7cs Yeah, it does. Current gen consoles work at up to 120 FPS, which is fine for 100 Hz since it leaves wiggle room for the frame rate to drop without screen tearing.

after my old monitor broke i went looking for good monitors and couldnt find anything that was a good quality 240hz for less than £250. so then i went on the official dell website to see how expensive they would get and found a 27inch 240hz monitor for only £179 instead of it being £260. The deal was so good i decided to get two since the deal expired at the end of october and i didnt know when id get another chance to get a deal as great as it was
found a gem in the 100hz market. Glad companies are starting to make these. I mainly play mmorpgs and single player games so i dont need the 144hz since im maxing graphics quality 99% of the time and my gpu does 100hz fine at 1440p ultra on every game.
Very helpful but why does everyone leave out the haze/glossy factor? Colours are better and images are sharper with glossy. If you play in a dim light room, you definitely will find a 10% improvement with glossy.
is this msi better than aoc 24g2sp? price difference here in my country is not that big, so i dont mind going for the higher price if one's better 🤔 i dont really know what to look for when deciding for monitors
AOC is an internal factory brand backed by the biggest monitor assembly factory in China, the thing about AOC is their sRGB preset’s brightness is locked (for whatever reason but some people believe it’s to avoid conflict of interest because TPV makes panel for big brands too), but the good thing about AOC monitors is that they’re one of the most color accurate monitors for the price. MSI on the other hand has terrible color accuracy, but if you don’t plan on gaming then you should just get the cheaper one.
Can you say which is better? MSI G241 or G2412? I am trying to get MSI G241 but cant find supply so it it worth going newer G2412 and what will I be sacrificing?
@@vibe_with_me999 for the price you cannot get something better ngl. 165hz is game changing, but I think the 1:1000 contrast kills it. All in all I dont regret buying

A few months later I got another one. Same size, same brand... It was pretty bad. What happened?
Great video 👍. I'm looking at getting the MSI g244f or gigabyte g24f-2. Any chance of you reviewing these one day?
This was awesome. Just so hard to choose one when so many have all the same specs like you really just gotta order like 5 then choose your favorite and send 4 of them back lmao
Great video! Do the settings and ICC profile you give work with HDR? i.e. Should HDR be turned on? I notice that the gamma calibration point using a test image is different when HDR is turned on - something like 1.9 compared to 2.2 with HDR turned off (using your settings and profile).
HDR is pretty much just a marketing gimmick on most monitors unless they can produce at least 600 nits, preferably 1000 of brightness.
Been looking at the new ktc 24 inch and 1440p with this review about there other stuff really is helping me pull the trigger
Hey techless big fan of ur screen reviews u can be trusted and I recommend you to my friends thanks 🙏
I’ve been looking for a monitor for awhile now and this have been the best monitor review I’ve ever seen. Will definitely be picking up a KTC. Thank you man
Will you do a review on Viewsonic vx2428? Would love your opinion on monitor and color profile. Cheers!!
Glad I found this channel! Subbed 🙏
@techless Have you seen that M27QX is again in stock everywhere? Now its rev 2.0. Could you find it for review please and see if they changed anything actually? Cuz in specs there's not much of a difference.
Average response time on Asus VG249Q is? Because you tested it but there is no information in your video about panel speed?
Very informative, thank you!
Hey loved your video and review but can you tell me height of ktc?
Good to see some displays of this quality at a good affordable prices, actual progress happening but at 1080p. pretty shocked by KTC coming in with so many respectable monitors, I might try the 1440p one with mini-LED
I got a 1440p 144hz 1920x1080 Omen montior for like 119 or smthn, and heard great things about Koorui as a brand.
Its definitely not a scam just make sure you look at the reviews because like this video shows if you really care about things like colour accuracy and low light performance etc some wont be for you.
Don't get a 1440p unless your gpu can handle it, if it can't you'll get lower fps and changing the resolution to 1080p might not look great on a 1440p monitor
nah my 3060 ti is fast for my use cases and 1440p dlss looks good@@unknownvidds
Only get 1440p if you're going bigger than 24"
@@ShuroiiI have to disagree, a high pixel density is worth a lot, there is a reason Apples displays look so good. I would love for there to be more 1440p 24“ screens, as they just look far sharper than FHD 24“ or 1440 27“.
Do you have any videos on monitor arms?
Went with the Koorui 24a3 thanks for posting these reviews 🙏 these types of monitors are perfect for competitive console players
Around 100$?
@@itsjustavi yes
Seems about right, being "cheap" but each with a compromise here and there in the display specs, and things like buying a 3rd party stand that would increase the budget
if you have a little more to spend get the Ktc m27t20, its mini Led and once set up correctly its like a OLED for around 400
insane seeing eu prices being double :)
That one seems really good. If you’re looking for something cheaper, I’d also recommend the Acer SB242Y EBI. It’s a 24” IPS monitor that runs at 100 Hz and costs like $80. It’s an incredible deal.
100hz dosnt works
@@DIEGO-sl7cs Yeah, 100 Hz it's a good middle point, since higher refresh rates have diminishing returns. You're free to go for 144 Hz, but most of the time I'd say it's not even worth it.
@@saquial for actual gen consoles dosnt work
@@DIEGO-sl7cs Yeah, it does. Current gen consoles work at up to 120 FPS, which is fine for 100 Hz since it leaves wiggle room for the frame rate to drop without screen tearing.
@@saquial playing with a 100hz or 70 60 hz monitor Is the same dosnt work -.-
Great video! Can you also try checking the KOORUI GP01 24" 2K QHD 165hz 1ms Nano-IPS ?
0:34 Which headphone amp is this?
Techless what’s a budget monitor for ps5 that you recommend ever ps5 player should get ?? A all around gem ?
So now, comparison of three, 27-inch 1440p 165-170Hz monitors.
this deck has a hidden camera in it, they connect to it with a satellite
That is a banger video you explained everything so well tysm 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Today for Christmas I got a koorui monitor, for the around 120 price,IT IS AMAZING,no speaker,I used a separate one,but this,I am stunned by the screen on it
I RECOMMEND
Thoughts on the Samsung Odyssey G4?
Just bought the KTC, so far so good, 0 dead pixels, great colors, good deal for $99+ tax imo
How is going so far ?
What do you think of the KTC vs the new ASUS VG249Q1RY? VERY similiar specs, I cant decide.
after my old monitor broke i went looking for good monitors and couldnt find anything that was a good quality 240hz for less than £250. so then i went on the official dell website to see how expensive they would get and found a 27inch 240hz monitor for only £179 instead of it being £260. The deal was so good i decided to get two since the deal expired at the end of october and i didnt know when id get another chance to get a deal as great as it was
Nah bro the aoc c27g2z was 118$s yesterday 💀
@@Rawandddis that a good one??
found a gem in the 100hz market. Glad companies are starting to make these. I mainly play mmorpgs and single player games so i dont need the 144hz since im maxing graphics quality 99% of the time and my gpu does 100hz fine at 1440p ultra on every game.
Which one is better in your opinion MSI G244F vs G2412?
amazing video ❤️🔥
i just want your advice
what should i pick between msi g2412 and aoc 24g2spe cause i m really confused 😅
AOC tend to have better quality control in my experience.
I've owned koorui for like a year. Their monitors are the best ones I've had. I've had many other monitors but koorui is at the top for sure.
Never buying Kori I bought a monitor from them a year ago and the ghosting and picture quality was horrible
What do you think of the LG UltraGear 27GS60F against this KTC Monitor?
how about Gigabyte G24F-2, would love to see your review for the updated gigabyte monitor
24 or 27 inch LG with IPS matrix, 144hz is cheap today. Its around 200 bucks >< and its fantastic montor, because LG produces the IPS matrix :)
Thank you so much for the video. I'd like to know if it's possible to get 165hz on the KTC using the HDMI instead of the DisplayPort. :)
The Koorui look amazing for his price should I get it for a laptop with an Rtx 2080 on it? I don't want 2k 1080p will work just fine for me
Very helpful but why does everyone leave out the haze/glossy factor? Colours are better and images are sharper with glossy. If you play in a dim light room, you definitely will find a 10% improvement with glossy.
How does the ktc and MSI compare to the AOC 24g2spu
"I watched the channels with under 100k subscribers (and found a gem)"
is this msi better than aoc 24g2sp? price difference here in my country is not that big, so i dont mind going for the higher price if one's better 🤔 i dont really know what to look for when deciding for monitors
Is the KTC H24T09P true 8 bit or 6 bit + frc?
i have the KOORUI 27in 165 hz monitor , its beautiful and my preferred monitor over anything else. very sturdy with little wobble to it
Can you say which is better? MSI G241 or G2412?
I am trying to get MSI G241 but cant find supply so it it worth going newer G2412 and what will I be sacrificing?
Where u from?
@@JandJPrinting-mv8cc India
With BF coming it would be nice to see if you can make a video with a tier list (rank) and at which price ranges the monitors would be good buys.
Msi g2412 and g2422 have any difference ?
what monitor arm would you prefer for the ktc cant seem to find any good ones aswell as a keyboard (im on a budget 😆)?
This channel is testing almost only cheap monitors
I think due to this video, I am going to buy the ktc one for 120€ on amazon and replace my acer nitro 75hz. I hope I dont get disappointed..
Update please is it good or bad
@@vibe_with_me999 for the price you cannot get something better ngl. 165hz is game changing, but I think the 1:1000 contrast kills it. All in all I dont regret buying
update?
what’s the update
@@tomjakes-eo9nr It is actually good, but sometimes I need to pull out the power supply and plug it in again so it detects my pc or I get signal. Besides that I didnt come across any problems. But If you consider buying this right now, I would suggest you to wait for Black Friday maybe.
