Great video. Any chance you could make a how to update firmware video on the monitor. I recently got the 360hz version, and every video i could find was for the qrx model and that uses the OSD method which the qpx does not have. Thanks.
@ it’s great, I really like the colors and contrast. However, I’m still getting used to its PPI. 1440p on a 27in monitor apparently looks smaller on 100% scale. So I keep testing it, but most likely I’ll leave it for myself because I don’t see any better options. A 32in 1440p would be too big I’m afraid
I have the Koorui 24" GP01 (which is great) but, having decided I needed to upgrade to 27", just ordered this MSI after also strongly considering Koorui's 27E3QK: their 240Hz rival offering. There wasn't much in it for me, but the overall looks, including the stand, was a major selling point, as well as the USB-C port: which I'm hoping will support a backlight bar I'm hoping to attach to the top of the panel (and the fact that it was £100 off at Amazon!). One point in favour of the Koorui is their 3-year up-front guarantee on dead pixels -- a possible issue that MSI are somewhat notoriously stingy about; also (ref. your gripe) the Koorui's two HDMI ports offer differing outputs: one of them supplying the full 240Hz at 1080p. That latter point wasn't relevant for me, though; so: pretty happy with my final choice after your review! One point I had some concern about was the contrast issue -- and you certainly provided some reassurance on that! Very glad to find your review! 👍
