Do you have a left handed version of this video? If you are left handed, you can convert ANY video on UA-cam yourself! Simply go to www.mirrorthev... and follow the instructions to mirror flip any video to convert to left handed!
How much yarn will I need? This is a very tricky question to answer as there are so many variables! How much yarn you need will depend on which yarn you choose, the thickness of that yarn, your tension and how large you want your finished project to be. I suggest making a small sample first so you can gauge how much yarn you'll need. If making a crochet square, you can weigh your finished square to work out how much yarn it used!
How many squares do I need for a blanket? That all depends on the size of the square you are making and how big you want your finished blanket to be! I always advise making one square first then measuring the size of it. From there you can work out how many squares you will need to get the blanket size you want 😀
Do you have the written pattern? Yes! I have written patterns to accompany my video tutorials on my website here: www.hookedbyro... The written pattern is generally released a week or so after the video tutorial to ensure there are no errors in the video itself and to make amendments in the written version if any are found. All the written patterns are FREE to access on my website
How can I print the pattern from your website? Do you have downloadable PDF's? Not at this time no. This may change in the future but for now, I only provide the written pattern directly on my website.
Can you remake this video so it is slower? If the video speed is too fast, you can slow it down! 😀 See this video on exactly how: • How to Adjust the Spee...
Why do you use American stitch terminology? I learnt using USA stitch terms, long before I even knew there was a difference between UK & US terminology! American terms are my "first language" so to speak. If you need a conversion chart, I have one here! www.hookedbyro...

Single crochet is so underrated. Love the fabric it creates. I've never tried front loop only on single crochet. I will now. Thanks for sharing.

Robin, this makes a second simple pattern I can do by feeling w/my limited eyesight. I love sc stitch and tried back loop only but didn’t like the feel. This one feels beautiful! Now w/the Moss stitch (Linen stitch) I’ve learned from you I’ve got some variation for sc afghans. Thanks so very much! 🧶💖🤗. Also when you explain the stitch w/more than one row I can get it memorized to do. 😌

Robin, i just discovered this stitch last week and I love it. Can I give you a little hint for this stitch that you may not have heard? It’s totally not necessary but provides a nice finishing touch. If you go through both loops on the last stitch of every row only it will give you the most perfectly straight edges ever. Neat little trick, that is! Thanks Robin for all your wonderful tutorials, I absolutely love them! ❤️

I didn’t know you were supposed to go through both loops for normal crochet. All this time I have been doing “back loop only” without realizing it. I don’t recall others going through two loops, though, when I look up demonstrations online when I need to refresh my memory or learn something new. Is this something that can vary depending on where you live?
