    Kurt thanks for all your invaluable information.
    Its a sad fact that the health of people in N. America is spiraling downwards at a colossal rate. Convincing the sheeple that being obese and unhealthy is sexy is one of the most insidious plays ever made against society.
    I'm NOT body shaming, nor am I suggesting that obese people are less.
    I'm pointing out some facts. Facts don't have feelings so if you're reading this and are offended..get over yourself please.
    With that out of the way I ask..."Why do the powers that be want everyone unhealthy? Why is this narrative of being '' obese and thus unhealthy being pushed so hard on society?"
    With obesity and poor diet comes weakened immune systems. Overweight and obesity are associated with at least 13 types of cancer.
    Low quality of life
    Mental illness such as clinical depression, anxiety, and other mental disorders.

    Been eating essentially carbs & sugar for way too long ...
    Then my tummy got bigger and my mood lower 😲
    Thanks youtube I educated myself about the importance of food.
    Now doing intermittent fasting + keto, and carnivore from time to time. Plus exercise and lots of water 💦
    My tummy gets smaller & smaller and my mood got high 🌈

    This is informative. I'm on Day 141 of Carnivore. 1st time I've not fallen off the "wagon" and been run over by it, in years of trying to do Low Carb to Carnivore. I wasn't (that I know of) suffering from poor health, but working on fat loss. I try to eat twice a day, unless my appetite desires once, lifting 5 to 8lb weights and get outside for some Sun. I've noticed inches lost by using smaller clothes, how I feel and look in the mirror and pics to monitor progress...don't own a scale. I see changes in my face, which indicate healing, thank the Lord! Planin the work and workin the plan.

      Awesome, your next big step is easing into more strenuous exercise. I see a lot of older folks who just don't want to get to running, lifting and really putting their body into a healthy stressful state. Obvious listen and take it as you can but exercise that really elevates your heart rate and lifting heavy things is valuable for bone density and hormonal building. It will cahnge your body composition and how you feel even more as you become acclimated.

    Thanx!!! Back on the ketovore track... December took me back to be a carb junkie again.. pure horror... blood pressure etc etc... Back to real food and indeed hormones are everything in weight loss .

    You and Dr. Ken Berry are my go to people for this. I had to take a REALLY powerful series of anti biotics in December (pneumonia). I started taking probiotics as soon as I finished. What I did NOT realize until I read the bottle, was that the probiotics have resistant starch as an ingredient. I know that that is supposed to be good for gut flora but I stopped talking them. Stopped the hard seltzer as well. I'm beginning to come out of the plateau.
    The only weird thing is, I am 5' 9" and 155 (down from 205) and my waist still measures 37 inches. I find that really strange. I'm trying to lose 10 more pounds by the beginning of spring. Have been eating pumpkin seeds and avocados. I'll do avocados today and then tomorrow, the first, go completely carnivore. And I do walk 30 minutes every other day unless it's' raining.

    Been eating carnivore for a month. A1C is down, blood glucose is down, lost 10 pounds since February 1st.

      @@cmwise100 I use fitness pal, makes it very easy. Prioritize protein is number one. .8 grams per pound of body weight. Keep your carbs under 50 grams make up the rest of your calories with fat. I'm in the gym again so I'm eating carbs again. I know people say calories don't matter on keto, but that's not true. People end up eating less calories on keto because protein and fat is very filling. The same can be accomplished eating high carbs and low fat, the key is eating enough protein. Because people will eat until they get enough protein, and then stop provided you're not addicted to food. And I know people say too much protein will stop keto, also nonsense. Keto isn't on or off, it's kind of fluid. In any case keto helps with cravings because of the high fat, just not eating junk food will have the same effect. I did carnivore for a month, and it killed my cravings, and my testosterone.
