To add to that whether it’s a android or iPhone.. charging fast is nice but don’t always charge it full or let it die. That’s what kills the battery. Generally keeping it 20-80 percent at all times as much as possible is the best way to keep the battery capacity lasting even more than 2 years. This is a result as a chemical change that happens when the phone dies completely and when it’s at full charge where the battery can get hot from having full power.

Hey Ella, great video as always, although i think You don’t give the Samsung the credits it actually deserves. The fact the UE is radically better compared to any IPhone is THE main point of difference. It is not a matter of habit anymore. The Samsung i.e. Android has at least 20 features that iOS is missing - important ones. I recently switched to an iPhone 13 and I really cannot comprehend the level of limitations this phone has. It’s not a matter of comparisons anymore, the Samsung is just much better phone overall. And no, i am not biased, as i’m typing this comment from an Iphone. Not to be misunderstood, the iPhone 13 is a great phone too, however, it is the brand equity (especially in the US), that makes it so sought after. I’m afraid, in few years, if they don’t start really inventing…they would experience the Nokia destiny.
Thanks so much for your insight. I almost switc5h to the IPhone 13 Max last week after having the Samsung 9+ for about 4 years. I am so glad I decided to upgrade to the Samsung 22+ I'm sorry I even doubted Samsung in the first place.
That’s what I finally love apple doing. I’ve had galaxies and it sucks with the battery. And apple for the longest never improved their battery because they said “new chip is so much more power efficient.” But what if Samsung said the same but kept the 4,500 mah battery?! I don’t get why they do this. Apple finally did it with the 13 and its amazing. The 13 I’m using now gets almost 8 hrs of screen time. Unplug at 6am and go to bed at 10pm with 30% left.
How much did you get for your S10 in trade in value? I tried to trade in my S10+ on Samsungs website using their own trade in program but I didnt get any value from it. Trade in value at 0.00SEK (and my phone is in mint condition, always used a case and screen protector, and full functionality like it was brand new) which is kinda sad seeing how others have traded in their S10 series phones and gotten over 300$ or 300 Euros for it(not sure if this is with the additional bonus trade in offer they have right now ). This is in Sweden. I have already ordered my S22+, guess I'll keep my S10+ for backup. Atleast I got a 1000Sek discount and the buds Pro for free, better than nothing.
As phones become more camera like, all the more they should maintain the expandable memory card slot. As a multimedia all in one gadget, a headphone jack should be there as well. Will continue to support those that continue to maintain these common sense features. Good review. Hope more reviewers will point out these features (or lack of).
Why a headphone jack if you wanna use it for multimedia a cord gets in the way. The SD card is a debate. With all the back up options it's fine. Only those who use their device as an all in one have to worry. A normal person doesn't always use the full memory and if they do they are putting too much on their phones and need to invest in a tablet or computer. At most I used 68 gb of 256 on my old iPhone and 57 of 128 on my old note 20. My friends both have the S10 plus and haven't use it's memory up in 3 years
@@Truecrimeresearcher224 and others have use of the expandable memory once we full up with photos, 4K videos and FLACs. Same for audio where we prefer the quality of some corded headphones.
I'm seriously impressed by the details in this video, you may very well be one of the only channels to bring up power efficiency with actual test. I argue including an iPhone comparison in an Android review is sort of unnecessary. Those who chose to buy Android phones usually have no interest in the iPhone and are more loyal to a specific android brand like Samsung. Don't get me wrong, the iPhone is an amazing phone but showing how power efficient it is against a Snapdragon phone doesn't feel great for someone who has no interest in buying an iPhone out of preference. Have to commend what's good though, and this is a great review!
I'm pretty sure there are people like me, who is interested in both brands. For example, i wanted to buy s22, but just because of the battery i ended up getting the 13 pro. And OS isn't a big factor for me at all.
I am really thinking about upgrading my note 20 to this. I don't use my S pen all that much. The only reason I got it was cause the entire 21 line was sold out when I wanted to upgrade from my iPhone
Can’t go wrong with either but note 20 is plenty fast still especially if you got the 12 gig ram model it can run emulators well iPhone can run ps2 60 frames but it’s just so much of a headache to do compared to android where you can do it easily.
I’ve been super torn about whether it’s worth dropping this amount of money on the S22 plus but I’m currently using the S8 and I’m definitely ready for an update. I really appreciate this review, thank you.

@3:16 "like the iphones true tone, vision booster adapter to the light" ✋️ right there. Samsung has had Adaptive Display before the iPhone had true tone. Apple users are so oblivious. When the ifold comes out in 2032, some how they gonna say Apple did it before Samsung
Haha you are right. I’ve been a primarily android user my whole life barely used Apple mostly the iPads but had two iPhones in my life now have a 13. The battery and optimization is still on apples side. But then again they make a few phones it’s easier to optimize for. But in particular terms in regards to Samsung and Apple. Apple has used Samsung parts for years even in its early days so the whole debate between the two is more or less stupid and is about preference both are fantastic phones. I’ve been using my old Google pixel XL with stock android for emulation and use my new iPhone 13 for service. I think emulation on Apple sucks even tho the chip can arguably emulate better than android it’s just to much loop holes just to play Pokémon red on the dam thing 😅😂
Congrats on 100K!!! Thanks for this comparison. Especially with 3d mark. I've seen videos running the stress test where the 22+ has a better stability score than the s22 ultra. It's no shock that it doesn't beat the iphone though. Also I think the guess photo has the iphone on the right.
I really like this review especially talking about screen refresh rate, battery life and camera tests. I'd love to see more comparison of camera and battery test with iPhone 13 and/or Pro since I'm a fan of iPhone and considering to switch to Android with S22 as I disappointed the 13 line up not as I expected. Cheers!
How would that be disappointing for the 13 lineup! 13 Pro And Pro Max both have 120hz adaptive display, longer battery life, blazing fast speed, great camera quality and loud sound quality
@@David79YT True, disappointed in terms of my expectation. My only expectation is iPhone with USB C port while many devices of Apple is coming with USB C, Macs and iPads which i have them in USB C. Lightning port is a joke when data transfer compared to USB C.
@@hlwanmoekyaw5175 you're one to talk! You're disappointing me, even though lightning is a joke, lightning now has usb c since the iPhone 11 Pro were released!
I wish your battery tests were longer. The iPhone has a highly non linear battery percentage (100% to 99% takes an eternity, while lower battery levels drain a lot faster), so it's pretty unfair to extrapolate the time it takes to drop from 100% to 85% to its entire battery content.
You earned yourself a new subscriber. Script is well detailed and straightforward. Your tone when speaking is bright and cheerfull and the quality of the video clearly is higher than how much subscribers you have. Keep up the great.

I was about to jump from Galaxy S10e to S22+ and I had to return the phone back just because I didn't realized that, the new current Galaxy doesn't have the external microSD card anymore and the phone I got doesn't have enough memory for all my external memory stuffs :(
The minimum refresh rate should very much affect battery life. That's why people are getting mad at Samsung for lying about the minimum refresh rate. They made a lot of reviewers look bad.
Is there a document mode in the camera app like on Huawei nova 3i? I hope there is as it is a really helpful feature, I use it a lot. Thanks for the video 😊
iYes, it's there, but the placement is a bit different, if on Samsung, just direct the document you want to scan, it will appear yellow "Just tap on it, it's done

Ordered my S22+ and it's on it's way! I'm excited. I'm using a Pixel 5a right now but I had the Pixel 6 and it was a terrible experience and Google keeps messing up with their updates. So I'm going back to Samsung. I haven't had a Galaxy phone since the S5 😬.... So hopefully I made a good choice.
Crazy since Google are basically the best androids cause of stock android and no bloatware almost like a iPhone but I’ve heard the new pixels aren’t good I got a OG pixel Xl first gen that I use for emulation and turned the service to a iPhone 13 base model amazing battery life and performance but I prefer android for easier access to emulation where as on iPhone I feel like I’m in school just begging to be allowed to go to the playground at lunch 😅😂

I recently came across your channel, don't remember how, but I love.yojr reviews, you're very professional! Love ya!
Looking forward to the customisation video 😆
coming soon!
Your films and voice are like hypnotising in positive way. These are very smooth and specific. I'm very happy, that i've found your channel.
Looking forward to the camera comparison between the 22+ and the iphone
I just found your channel and I'm glad I did. I really like your content. :) Also, everyone who reviews regular S22 / S22 Plus instead of "note" earns a big plus from me, haha.
thank you!
I bought S22+ after watching your review.
This phone is soo good and looks beautiful 😍.
Thanks for the detailed review. 👍
I like how comprehensive you are with the reviews and don't waste anytime in beating about the bush
Will this be your daily driver? Also, congrats on 100k! Glad to see this channel getting traction!
Awesome review, not sure it's enough of an upgrade from my current s21 but I do really love the more squared off design 😍
Crystal Clear information & a brilliant review and I have zero interest in Instagram 😉 .... I'm definitely purchasing the Samsung Galaxy S22+ here in the U.K. & we've just had some spectacular price crashes on this handset ( Sept. 2022 ! ) .... Thank You 💖
happy 100k ella!! so proud of u:*
aw thank you!
Hey Ella. 👋 Should I upgrade from the S10e? 😉👍🏼
@3:16 "like the iphones true tone, vision booster adapter to the light" ✋️ right there. Samsung has had Adaptive Display before the iPhone had true tone. Apple users are so oblivious. When the ifold comes out in 2032, some how they gonna say Apple did it before Samsung
Not a big deal lol
Also I think the guess photo has the iphone on the right.
thank you!
@@David79YT oh really? My very little brain do not understand "lightning now has USB C "
i was waiting for your review. thank you so much! ✨
Hope you like it!
This was one of the best phone review videos I've seen in a long time. I love your channel
Glad you think so!
I am excited for it to come out on February 25th! Thanks Ella for this review
Keep up the great.
thank you!
can't wait to see this phone in the upcoming k-dramas😂 Samsung really loves sponsoring them
Samsung is South Korean so yeah
lol it's def going to happen
It's really helpful, thank you!
The details on your video is unbelievably good
Samsung is simply the best. No doubt about it.
Great review Ella. The analysis of throttling and effects on battery life between the phones was interesting. Hope you can do a review of the S22 Ultra
thank you!
The s22 ultra is a beast and a big phone compared to these tiny ones.
Could you please do a vid on s22 battery. Thanks 😊
I like how you calculate the details number of mah, when draining the battery. Great jobbb
Great video Ella! Also how is the new vibration motor? Heard some reviews regarding it,which said that it was very mild and people were not able to feel it in their pockets..
Thank you!
It's not as powerful as the one on the S21 but it feels soooo good
i would love to see the s22+ customization
coming soon!
My favorite phone all the time😢😢 btw you deserve more views and subscribers
will certainly be looking out for that customisation video, ella. great job!
Coming soon!
Good video! Also love your hair
great video...plz do battery test from 0 to 100% of iphone 13pro and s22+
wonderful gurrl - the kind one attains best updates in a very kind manner !!!
aloha from switzerland !!!
Picking up my s22 plus this afternoon. Liked the s phones this year because they seem to have a similar look to a modern i phone , pretty close to the iPhone 11 actually I think. Excited to go get it , hoping I made a good buy 👍
Came from a 12 pro to an s22+. There's a very noticeable difference in the battery life. This isn't a deal breaker for me though. I'm loving the s22+ it feels like a complete phone for me.
13 days after this comment and I've got to say I had some software issues with my 22+ and sent it back for a 22 ultra.
@@redbullcj what issues did you have. I don't have any and I hear the ultra has more issues
I'm so excited to get my S22 Ultra. Thanks for another fantastic review video. Your videos are always extremely helpful. Keep up the amazing work!
Glad you like them!
Thanks for the vid. Just ordered my S22+.... also love the floor lamp in the background... got the same one for my bedroom lol.
would love to see a more in depth review on the cameras maybe more into their respective video quality!! i love how real the reviews are-this channels incredibly underrated;;
thank you!
aaaaa i love your vids keep it up ella!!
thank you!
Love you ella, your tech videos are awesome and also
Congrats on 102k subscribers !!!
Thanks so much!!
@@CreatedbyEllaYT Don't say thank you b cuz I must say thank you for you to making such a wonderful channel. And thanks for replying!
I really enjoy your videos, I'm glad you covering the s20 plus because it's hard to find reviews on it
Ella and pink s21 and s22 is a match 😁😁.
I wish the s22+ was 6'4. 6'6 is just to big.
I was about to jump from Galaxy S10e to S22+ and I had to return the phone back just because I didn't realized that, the new current Galaxy doesn't have the external microSD card anymore and the phone I got doesn't have enough memory for all my external memory stuffs :(
Wow! Congrats for reaching 100k subs. I started following you when you only had 20k. Nways keep it up. 👍👍👍😊😊😊
cant wait to get my hand on the ultra, even though the s22+ is great too!
Good choice!
Both great phones hard decision
hi ella, yay new video of samsung~~ Congrats on the 100k subs
Yay! Thank you!
@@CreatedbyEllaYT welcomee yay~
😁😁
which theme have you applied to your s21??
The minimum refresh rate should very much affect battery life. That's why people are getting mad at Samsung for lying about the minimum refresh rate. They made a lot of reviewers look bad.
Is there a document mode in the camera app like on Huawei nova 3i? I hope there is as it is a really helpful feature, I use it a lot. Thanks for the video 😊
iYes, it's there, but the placement is a bit different, if on Samsung, just direct the document you want to scan, it will appear yellow "Just tap on it, it's done
Love your style. Great vid!
Very Professional review video! I really liked your in depth review of the battery life test. Keep up the good work! I hope your contents continue to grow exponentially.
thank you!
Best review of S22 so far🤗
Yay! Thank you!
Congrats on 100k Ella Great review , Samsung never disappoints with their phone updates definitely And iPhone also kinda .. but samsung is on the lead now 🙌
thank you!
This phone looks so sleek and nice. I'm glad they added the 120fps rate on their smaller phones. My only setback is the screen reaching only to 1080p.
Great review and super informative! You have a new subscriber!
Thanks and welcome!
