  • Should you upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus to the Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus? BUY S23 PLUS HERE! howl.me/cjodCY... (affiliate)
The Samsung Galaxy S23 Plus has some meaningful upgrades over last years Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus. The S22+ vs S23+ argument has some weight to it when you consider the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, that peforms significantly better than the S22+ Snapdragon 8 Gen 1, which was worse on heat and battery. The S23 Plus has much better battery life and standby time, and has less heat issues. The S23 Plus also has a new selfie camera, more storage starting with 256gb, and the S23+ battery is even 200mAh larger, for combined much better battery life! I think there are several good reasons to pick up the Galaxy S23+, as long as you can get past the S23 Plus price tag of $999, which I think is was overpriced especially with dumbed down features and isn't a flagship caliber phone.

Obviously you have plenty of money so you can just upgrade every year or someone paid for your device nothing to fill bad about but at the end of the day you are not getting that much better a device you just get longer battery life and the Gen 2 processor all is cool with that I'm using the s22+ somehow my device really gets not two days but only one day and maybe just a few moor hours and all I've got to do is plug my 45 wat charger in and that pretty much it !

I traded in the S22 Plus for the S23 Ultra this year but I prefer the S23 Plus design any day. I had a s22+ and for me the battery was ok, not bad but certainly it could be better. It all depends on your usage. For example, on my workdays I was able to get around 30-40% after 12-14h of usage and between 4 and 5 hours of screen on, that with occasional gaming. During weekends and when I had heavier usage due to my gaming sessions the battery burned faster, and many times I needed to recharge it after about 7 hours. In other words if you are not playing so much in the s22+ you can easily get at least one day of battery, maybe one day and a half, but as soon as you start to play games, using GPS or the camera then you can expect the phone to die sooner of course.
That said, I've got the s23+ and the battery is much better. Now on my work days I end around 60% of battery remaing (against the 30-40 in the s22). Also I noticed that the battery drain during my gaming sessions really was improved, also when using GPS I noticed a lower battery consumption. So yeah the new phone has better autonomy but it is expensive. I was lucky to get a good discount due to the trade in.
Anyway, if you don't mind having less autonomy then it's fine to buy the s22+ now that is cheaper. Or you could wait until the s23 price drops and get a better phone overall. Hope I helped.
