I learned from my mom when I was 6 or 7. Defanantly nostalgic.😊
Being 63 and having grown up and lived Appalachian life, the older grandfathers of folk when I was a kid played spoons. Folks were dirt poor and couldn't afford instruments , so they made their own. Be they spoons or cymbals or or even the bells on a Christmas wreath, to make music, they did it anyway they could. There is simply nothing like the feeling within you as a musician like a spontaneous "jam session" that just seems to happen out of thin air. What do the kids call it today..a "flash" gathering..and everyone has some sort of amazing talent. Peace out.

I know this is an older rap/R&B song but I love the way y'all rearrange this song. It is almost like you have created a new style of music. I have listen to other songs of yours and I really enjoy the arrangments of the old songs you made new again. I am going to call it new age Appalachia or Remixed Bluegrass. I can tell your roots are from the mountains by the influence of bluegrass sound and Appilachian folk music. I simply love it.

Abby should be so proud of what she has accomplished. I have been a fan since I happened across a video someone posted on here a few years ago. When I first came across her, no one I mentioned it to had hear of her. Now, I would say one out of every three people have heard of her and are fans.
Recently, I watched a mini documentary from back in 2009 that someone did on her. It is amazing how far she has come in those 9 years. I hope someone picks up her story someday because she is going to be a legend. Talk about taking lemons and making lemonade! I hope all of her dreams come true someday. Remarkable.
