Otis Redding is still alive in our hearts. Can't even begin to imagine the impact he would have continued to have on the world & the world of love he planted in our hearts. Otis, Sam, Billie, Florence, Jimi, Janis, Morrison, Ruffin on & on, so many other amazing artists that were gone way too soon. We remember & miss you, well at least I do.
June 2019 hearing him for the first time. What a treat, what a wonderful gift he had and gave freely. This came out i believe in 1967, I was 12 and would sit on the dock with my bare feet in the water and sing along with the transistor radio. There sure wasn't any tide, just little ripples from a motorboat way out that would eventually make their way to shore. People who grow up on lakes have a great affinity for it, and for the wooden docks where you'd park yourself for many hours, summer after summer. All those years.

I was 23 she was 19 (blonde 6 foot tall university student) we sat on the dock of the bay, and this came on the radio, can you imagine how much this brings me back? I'm now 60 and happily married but , man how powerful memories are
Roger Ridley’s “Thank you” makes the song truly inclusive. More so, when he’s not on the screen and you hear his gratitude in the background, you know someone is moved ‘literally’ by his street performance. Indeed “beautiful”.
I was in California when this song came out by Otis Redding and hearing these musicians play these instruments and sing the song just warms my heart oh, simply warms my heart. I feel really, really good viewing this video and seeing all the places and all the musicians playing at different times; from other locations. In my honest opinion, this is an excellent video and it does have a message.
I was planning on seeing him the night his plane went down in Madison. I was in line outside the venue when someone came out and announced the tragedy. I'll never hear this song without remembering that night. Good to hear it done so beautifully here.

I was 23 she was 19 (blonde 6 foot tall university student) we sat on the dock of the bay, and this came on the radio, can you imagine how much this brings me back? I'm now 60 and happily married but , man how powerful memories are
Ruthypie Twiglet well, I’ve been 6’ tall and I’ve been 19, and I’ve been blonde, so... yes.
Roger Ridley’s “Thank you” makes the song truly inclusive. More so, when he’s not on the screen and you hear his gratitude in the background, you know someone is moved ‘literally’ by his street performance.
Indeed “beautiful”.
These are the beautiful talented unsung heroes of America. And nobody really appreciates them ... Sad, yet beautiful.
Simply awesome love it could listen all day

No one else can sing this like Otis. First time I heard it I was 15 years old and I am now 66. Still love it. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I agree 100% with you sir. Informations correctes👍😀😍
Awesome I love him he's great
GOD BLESS OTIS REDDING! HE WAS UNIQUE AND GREAT!! 😊😊
I was planning on seeing him the night his plane went down in Madison. I was in line outside the venue when someone came out and announced the tragedy. I'll never hear this song without remembering that night. Good to hear it done so beautifully here.
Yahoo I’ll be in San Francisco in May. First time in two years since virus. From Scotland.
