Yeah, he's clearly crying about Deadpool in that clip, and they never explain it. The Reavers were the former guards/henchmen of the Hellfire Club as I recall. When the X-Men go after the Hellfire Club to try to rescue Dark Phoenix, one of the guys uses their powers to increase Wolverine's mass, causing him to fall down into the basement. The rest of the X-Men are captured, leaving Wolverine to solo his way back up from the basement tearing through all the goons....who later become the Reavers. This is why they aren't so happy with Wolverine.

Likely the same. I'm actually more interested in how similar this wolverine and Logan's wolverine are. Definitely felt like they leaned on that comic for inspiration.

Thank you I had totally forgotten where that came from. I'm more of a Superman and the Super family fan. But any comic nerd from the 80's and 90's read the X books too. So I honestly thought that came from "God loves Man kills" now I have to call my youngest nephew and tell him I was wrong but doing so well show him you have to admit when you are wrong even about little things like this. Great video thank you so much for the nerd history lesson.

I remember borrowing this from my cousin when I was a kid. I loaned him 247 and 248 in return. Rogue went thru the Seige Perilous in 247.
One of my favorite runs (Silvestri/Claremont) and one of the best lineups. The other 2 were the Byrne/Claremont and Romita Jr/Claremont.

03:13 ~ this is exactly why the ending for Captain America in the movie Endgame makes no sense to me. There is zero evidence that Mr. Rogers was even capable of ignoring Hydra's infiltration of SHIELD. That is just one obvious example of his eventual choice to change his world into a new timeline. He literally said himself he was incapable of just watching injustice occur.

I never read the comic but love the movies as I grew up with them. Now it hit me all of a sudden. Are all X-men stories about how all the X-men have died with some small exception of a main character alone against everything 😅? It seem like the xmen are not dead only in the films 😅

I want to say since its a cinematic version, he probably got there a little bit differently but still similar enough to the comicbooks to be prettt much the same story. My big question is why are there millions of skulls there? I haven't read many comics so I dont know if the skulls were from something or just cool art or what was going on. Im just saying. Thats a lot of skulls from the comicbook and movie version lol.

I think that the image of Wolverine tacked up on an X was in the movie was just to give longtime X-Men readers an Easter egg that would make them tingle. Conspicuously, they didn't really do anything with the image after they presented it.
