A VARIANT OF (CASSANDRA NOVA) I IMAGINE COULD EXIST SOMEWHERE IN THE MULTIVERSE WHO ISN’T EVIL: I imagine in one realm, there is a variant of Cassandra, who is not an evil person, but just a wicked person, who’s emotionally unstable. I imagine in this realm, she goes through a set of stages in her life, before she finally comes to a realization. That realization is, that Charles Xavier isn’t her true enemy, but instead she is her own worst enemy. Due to her own jadedness, close mindedness, ego, pride, and due to the secret envy she felt about her brother sometimes. That is what was responsible, for her being a very wicked person, for many years, before she had experience a sudden realization. Once Cassandra Nova, had her sudden realization, she then went on a journey, and during that journey she discovered a hidden undiscovered island. It took her a while, for her to figure out, a safe way to make it to the island, and I imagine once there, she had decided to make it her home. A place that is far away, from things that would upset her, and to be far away from people who would upset her. I imagine within four years, Cassandra Nova, had developed tranquility, discovered she has unknown talents, for doing non violent skills. After she had developed tranquility, she was able to grow hair from her head, and develop new type of mental abilities, that is able to heal any place that is dying due to dangerous substances. Plus to add save any type of wildlife from dying, that was exposed to dangerous substances. But then on one day, she suddenly felt something awful, that some unknown evil entity, is on its way, and had a vision it would change her brother (Charles Xavier). From being a good person mutant, who’s a hopeful, kind, considerate, forgiving guy, and who dreams of a better future. To becoming cruel, vicious, a bit crazy, cold minded, and more violent than what she ever was in her past. After she had her vision, she thought about it for a few hours, then she made the decision to leave, and try to visit her brother, while hoping she doesn’t scare anyone in the process. She feared if she didn’t try to, stop the events from happening, she might need to work with enemies of her brother, in order to kill him, once he does become evil.
Yeah that is on you. You did all that then visited a channel that is based on spoiling comic books right before you watched it. Gives "I touched the stove and it was hot" vibes.
Desperately trying to read all the dialogue while Also listening to the voice-over.. AGGGHHH!!! XD The only way to watch this is look away from the screen, listening to the voice-over, then go back and mute it, so I can try to freaking READ everything! xD
Man you didn't touch on 'Here Comes Tomorrow' that was the beat version of her and spun right out of New X-men where she was trapped in thr Shi'ar shape-shifting body.
Thank you for saying it ! I love this version of her so much and it makes me sad it gets ignored by every writer after Morrison. Little Ernst is adorable and seeing her all grown up always makes me emotional. In the end, all she needed was to grow up in a safe environment 🥲.
I’m not trying to bring the mold down so I’ll be vague even though it’ll be obvious what I’m talking about. It’s so good to finally have come back to the channel and to comics/comic movies. I honestly dropped the entire thing after our loss. Wolverine/Deadpool was my re-entry and now this video. Glad to have finally come back home. Hope everyone is having a great day and a good time
Not gonna lie as much as I agree with Rob’s opinion of Forge. I would love to see some separation. I’d love to see them work together to show the difference
I believe Carl Jung coined the term, Shadow Selft, to represent this idea. But its less about morality like good and evil and more about just the aspects of ourselves that we keep hidden from everyone, including ourselves at times.
For such a "evil villian", she was real forgiving at the end of that movie. Had she been truly evil the moment that Helmut came off Dp and Logan would be dead. Instead she gifts them a sling ring. How diabolical 😂
@mikescorpio13 so you didn't see it but you critique it. The movie was as good as the one prior. If you don't like Deadpool movies, don't see it. It is a typical Deadpool movie. A cameo is a one time small part appearance,ie; Stan Lee. I wouldn't say there were as many cameos as you think.
There are some villains who need to stay villains. Don't get me wrong, I am ok with, and for, villains and redemption and change and growth, and all of that, like from Harley Quinn to Catwoman and Posion Ivy and Magneto, and others, but there are several that I want to stay as villains. Characters who I want to stay as villains when it comes to the X-Men: Sabertooth Cassandra Nova Bastion Graydon Creed Sebastian Shaw Mr. Sinister Nimrod Dark Beast Genocide Silver Samauri Orphan Maker & Nanny Vertigo Onslaught Empath Azazel Emplate Mr. Clean Mikhail Rasputin The Genegineer Characters who I want to change when it comes to the X-Men: Lady Deathstrike Magneto Polaris Mystique Destiny Omega Red Multiple Man Madelyne Pryor Pyro I don't care what they do with Selene, Mother Righteous, Orbis Stalarus, Dr. Stasis, Genesis and Apokolypse. Selene and Genesis and Apokolypse all work better as a villains, though, but I don't really care what they do with them.
So in essence, it's a remix of the Dark Pheonix Saga, where Mastermind manipulated Jean Grey. Beyond that, this is to confusing, and too much action with no consequence...House of M nearly wiped out X-Me, next I pick up the books, the mutant population is back to pre-House of M, and then Cassandra wipes out Genosha...should have killed her off aft that... too confusing...I didn't even bother with Krakoa as all the villains on one side...lame...
I don't buy the flippant ease with which she killed Johnny Storm, or the default ease she killed Magneto either. She is powerful, but Johnny is infused with Cosmic power, and Magneto...c'mon! The disrespect towards some characters is ridiculous. No f'ing way X-23, or Wolverine even, just cuts Juggernauts legs and head off. Have the writers done any actual research on powers powerlevels and historic fghts??
Ya they definitely OP'd her a bit there. But that Juggernaut wasn't true Juggernaut, we know that's just a strong dude with a helmet and not cytorraks avatar.

I really love how '97 adapted the Genoshan genocide, but it's really cool to just see how deep her history goes--I noticed you didn't acknowledge Cassandra's role in Here Comes Tomorrow during New X-Men, and I think it's also pretty cool that her inclusion with the Marauders in Here Comes Yesterday mirrors it, since the whole arc once again deals with Sublime!
As soon as you brought up Morrison i was like ok this is gonna get deep and weird.
Oh look. An interesting Marvel villain.
Man, it's easy to forget just how much of the wackier modern X-Men stories came directly from Grant Morrison. They really had a much bigger impact on X-Men continuity than people remember, I think.
And the wackiest DC stories as well. His comic writing is closer to stream of consciousness writing than anyone in the industry today. Sorry Alan Moore. But his writing is sooo good.
I initially thought Cassandra was the ancient one.
A VARIANT OF (CASSANDRA NOVA) I IMAGINE COULD EXIST SOMEWHERE IN THE MULTIVERSE WHO ISN’T EVIL:
I imagine in one realm, there is a variant of Cassandra, who is not an evil person, but just a wicked person, who’s emotionally unstable.
So… Ernst
Jean Grey is way more terrifying now, she beat her? Dang
Right, I forgot Morrison is the reason Beast is now a giant kitty.
Negasonic Middle-Aged Warhead gonna be Peak Comics.
This is a really good video, wish I had a better word but I'm still watching it so not super focused. Good job dude...for real
I was soo close. 1 hour away. just one hour. avoided all the commercials, discusions and this got me. 1 Hour from seeing the movie tonight...
Yeah that is on you. You did all that then visited a channel that is based on spoiling comic books right before you watched it. Gives "I touched the stove and it was hot" vibes.
😂 I was spoiled moderately online....with all the cameos.....
Thanks for the summary
I really love her bald head
This art style was UH GUH LEE!!! The MAN…
Great explanation, truly. Now I am even more confused about what/who she is.
Cassandra is the comic version of shadow work by Carl Jeung
Funny how this industry has made BILLIONS! How big of a twit are you?
Desperately trying to read all the dialogue while Also listening to the voice-over.. AGGGHHH!!! XD The only way to watch this is look away from the screen, listening to the voice-over, then go back and mute it, so I can try to freaking READ everything! xD
I fully expect her...
To be nothing like this in the movie, unfortunately.
@@nekomissy595Shame that no other writer picked up the idea of Ernst being the good Cassandra.
In a lighter note, Martha finally has a body!
@@christopherbennett5858Yes, I'm hoping that she will appear as a mentor to new mutants and come to good terms with Professor X.
@@johnfrederickudtujan8337 That would be nice if we ever see it come to fruition on the page.
Great video 👍🏿
Morrison is #1 for me. I loved the movie
One of my favorite villains... she is absolutely terrifying
If empathy destroyed her that much, Imagine if she made her feel Sympathy.
Thumbnail is extremely "we have to go... now?" Smeagol
Top 3 best villain in live action SH movie right off the bat. Didn't even need a trilogy but imagine 😊
His brother twin sister and son all turning into psychopaths, boy does Xavier has the worst luck when it comes to family members
Epigenetic inheritance/curse. People are not careful enough about who they procreate with.
Look im just saying
if she bald.... im bald 😂😂😂😂
4:45 okay, this is why a new comic book continuity needs to happen.
I never thought I would live to see a lower accurate Cassandra Novi never thought that would happen but it happened
I just love how they handle the evil twin trope
Nova is a beast 😢 had me intrigued by her 🔋
I had a couple of nightmares with Cassandra nova when I was younger and she had the same powers
Just give Xavier a dark side already. Even as a "good guy" Xavier scares me.
Dude two babies fighting in the womb is the funniest sht I’ve seen
Thanks for putting us on with this info.
those cartoons don't come to the knee of rock and rule
When did Comics Explained change their logo? Didnt even realize it was the GOAT
Robs work rate is unmatched!
8:41 of all the xmen first class movies I liked the Emma frost
I believe Carl Jung coined the term, Shadow Selft, to represent this idea. But its less about morality like good and evil and more about just the aspects of ourselves that we keep hidden from everyone, including ourselves at times.
So in the comics she only has telepathy like Charles Xavier? So in the movie they gave her extra powers?
For such a "evil villian", she was real forgiving at the end of that movie. Had she been truly evil the moment that Helmut came off Dp and Logan would be dead. Instead she gifts them a sling ring. How diabolical 😂
the movie probably suck as i predicted from the all inclusive cast and 100s of useless cameos
You know you can be evil and reasonable at the same time they arent mutually exclusive like what even is this comment
There are some villains who need to stay villains. Don't get me wrong, I am ok with, and for, villains and redemption and change and growth, and all of that, like from Harley Quinn to Catwoman and Posion Ivy and Magneto, and others, but there are several that I want to stay as villains.
Characters who I want to stay as villains when it comes to the X-Men:
Sabertooth
Cassandra Nova
Bastion
Graydon Creed
Sebastian Shaw
Mr. Sinister
Nimrod
Dark Beast
Genocide
Silver Samauri
Orphan Maker & Nanny
Vertigo
Onslaught
Empath
Azazel
Emplate
Mr. Clean
Mikhail Rasputin
The Genegineer
Characters who I want to change when it comes to the X-Men:
Lady Deathstrike
Magneto
Polaris
Mystique
Destiny
Omega Red
Multiple Man
Madelyne Pryor
Pyro
I don't care what they do with Selene, Mother Righteous, Orbis Stalarus, Dr.
Nova was played so freaken good!
Miss comicstorian you guys and variant like the triarchy of comic lore on UA-cam
Cassandra Nova would be a great "big bad" for The Avengers. Wishful thinking but shes a well-written and complex villain
Cassandra barely got any screen time for such a cruel villain n not cruel enough in deadpool 3
I hate it that they kill cassandra
Gonna need a paper bag fo dis one
4:17 Jeffery Bezos jumpscare
True but these are all variants. Some might be stronger or weaker
As someone that dosent really watch comics or super hero movies its so funny to hear, "she was defeated, and 1 year laters she came back" Like 10 times
I looked at her like the head of the Time department looks at Peter Pool
