People sometimes expect movies to be some great philosophical adventure, with great story-telling and astonishing cinematography. This movie had some amazing elements to it, but most of all it was just fun as hell. Honestly one of the most entertaining movies I've seen in a while.
And I would add that comedy is used to make us all not take everything so seriously...but for some reason big companies are placating to the very few that get offended by jokes. This is a massive problem for movies to be good in the future.

I do feel like there was a missed opportunity not having any of the Loki variants, just because we have been there and there were many of them. Could've at least had 1 running around even in a small cameo.
I'm glad that D&W came out the way it did. It is an absolutely love letter to everything we've had in the last 30 years. It gave us the outfit all of us that loved Xmen in the 90s and it gave us a reason to have the Loki series which is one of my favorite series ever (Tom Hiddleston just knows the role). I still wish they had just recast Kang but this definitely made it feel like that series wasn't a waste. And dear god I hope we get a gambit movie because Tatum nailed it. Also.... knowing Paradox is Moebius in the comics, the headbutt is definitely somehow how he ends up as Owen Wilson version... I didn't catch that until watching this video. Can't wait to watch the deleted scenes.

I really hope in Secret Wars there is a moment where Deadpool steps away from a group to break the fourth wall, but we watch it from the group’s perspective as he rants to an imaginary camera and audence. Then a character would say to the puzzled group “Yeah, he does that sometimes.” (Negasonic would be perfect) ☮️💜💀
That scene where Deadpool talk to Wolverine through the window remind me of Armageddon when Bruce Willis was talking to Ben Affleck and telling him to take care of his little girl but just a funnier version 😅

The blu-ray & dvd aren't released until November 4th in the UK, I think it's October 22nd in the US. Of course a copy can be pre-ordered on Amazon. This movie has to be seen several times as there's so much going on. Can't wait to see the gag reel etc.

As someone who went to Disney World more times than I remember as a kid during the 90s and someone who watched every Disney movie in theaters during the 90s. Eisner was a legend.
This movie was my 'back to theaters after covid' movie. (I was born in the 80s when going to the movies was a fun experience. I felt like the movie theater experience had changed so much already over the decades and it felt more like work instead of fun before covid honestly)
Huge Jackman is the level of thespian that Reynolds needs to play second fiddle to in order to have this kind of success. He can't do it on his own, even w DP1, funny as it was

You missed the Liefield reference during the dead pool core fight scene. There was a store in the background called Liefield’s diner or cafe. In reference of course to Rob Liefield creator of deadpool. Deadpool 2 also referenced him when DP made the crack about an artist who can’t draw feet.

They should have released, with the movie, all the stuff that was cut and the ideas they were gonna use and Easter eggs etc I bet you could fill a couple DVDs with that cool stuff.
