I found out that you can use the backhand blade (right hand) and the Cirque left hand) at the same time. L2 will do an attack with both weapons while R2 only attacks using the backhand blade. Switching the Cirque to the right hand allows you the throw (R1) and L2 is again the double attack. This combo also works for those jumping attack players. You can use triangle+L2 (or R2) to add the other backhand blade or Cirque. Since the Smithscript weapons are throwable, its a nice setup when you run out of throwing daggers.

I tried buffing the smithscript cirque with bloodflame blade and afterward with greases and it didn't work. (Tried it on standard, keen, heavy and quality)
Are you on PC, or console? I've heard the location of the Blacksteel hammer / greatshield differs between PC and PS5. On PC the Falx was a quest reward so I'm wondering if the Falx and backhand blades are similarly switched for console probably? If that is the case you'll probably need to complete the Hornsent's quest to get the Backhand blades as that's how to get the Falx on PC.
Okay man someone explain how you draw a second backhand blade without having to collect a second one in a new game play through. I mean the sword type, not the circles.
Grats! I have not fought her yet because I want to complete the DLC but I'm a bit stuck on the last boss. There's so many bright particle effects that it's hard for me to track the attacks. But I'm sure I'll be fine after I farm up some more Scadutree fragments and max my blessing.
Like Kurisu mentioned. Miyazaki stated (before Erdtree released) this is the only DLC. But I'm definitely looking forward to what FromSoftware comes up with next. Personally I'm thinking we see an Armored Core VI DLC then a new full game. Edit: Also I don't think the DLC has had a rocky start at all, 5 million copies sold and the highest critic rating of all time is astronomical success for a DLC.

That's some pretty cool tech, though hot swapping like that is a bit too involved for me personally.

It's been super fun to find all the different new weapons, so far Backhand Blades are my favorite and great katanas come in as a close second.

If you need elemental damage you can use an infusion in the ash of war menu.

Y+R1, or if you're using kb/m whatever keybind you usually use to two-hand a weapon.

Miyazaki stated a few times that there will be no more dlcs for Elden Ring since the story is concluded.
