That thing looks ready to go car camping in. When I did mine for the Power Tour, I put some Bilstein B6's on it all around, and it got me through the Tail of the Dragon and was still comfortable. WIX Fuel Filter - 33482 off of an 1984 Corvette is a great in-line filter that I'd highly recommend. I've also heard the 1981 Brake Booster and Master Cylinder is an improvement to the older ones, might want to look into that if you end up putting more time into it. Another thing I would do is inspect that driver side seat rail, the driver's seat will throw you out of the car while you're driving. Also double check that lower grill, they fall off easily and are near impossible to replace. You'd probably have a lot of luck selling it on NastyZ28, the 2nd gen forums.
We remember a guy we met in the Planet Fitness parking lot during Power Tour that was in a Camaro that did that; not sure if that was you we talked to or not. The seat rails in this one are roasted and need to be replaced. We may look into the brake booster/master cyl deal, this one doesn't work. Thanks for all the info!
The seatbelt may be loose when harnessed bc that was an option and 1981 was the last year for that option. Meaning, when harnessed you could double pull the seatbelt and it would lock in place with slack in the seatbelt.

Our 1977 F150 Shop truck we’ve had since we were 15 years old and did a similar resurrection on; we are 31 now and still using the truck. We’ve put a lot of hard miles on it going to shows and delivering cars cross country. For us it’s keeping up with the maintenance and staying on top of issues as they arise instead of letting them go. We did a 64 Rambler a few months back that we got running and drove it home three hours from a show. Daniel is very in tune to what vehicles are doing and fixing the problems. We’ve had better luck with our old vehicles than anything new. That’s why most of our personal vehicles are all old. We work on newer customer vehicles during the day and see too many vehicles failing with major problems before reaching 100k.
