This is perhaps the most unexpected rescue Firebird I've seen. Manual steering, ram air pans, ram air long branch manifolds, and a 389 engine. It's missing the cooling fillers but most other clues are there. Either this is a car that someone swapped all the Ram Air 1 parts onto or it's an early RA1 car. It would be worth getting the Pontiac Historical packet on it to see if it is a factory Ram Air car because of its obvious value. Much less the fact you bought 2 cars at once that have the super rare long branch manifolds! This would indicate a possibility of the other car being a factory 400HO car. Also rare. The motivational laps at the end were pure joy, nice work fella!
Hey Brittney, I hope this gets threw, but I just heard from Hanna and Corey that you have been diagnosed with Cancer. I am so sorry to hear this and I am praying for you and your family. I am a Sub member and watch your videos and really loved the content. I also have been diagnosed with stage 4 Cancer in 12/21/22 by my best friend who is a Doctor. I think if it wasn't for him I might not be here write now. I just want to give you some advise he gave me when it felt like I was punched in the gut with the news. I was very depressed and he said you have to stay POSITIVE no matter what, and I believe it helped me a ton. I went threw 6 months of Chemo every other week and Radiation every day for 6 months. And am doing Immunotherapy every other week for the rest of my life. But I am still kicking and feel good, and I want you to do the same! I hope I'm not over stepping my boundary. I don't do Social media, this was the only way I thought I could say something. REMEMBER STAY STRONG AND DON'T THINK BAD ONLY GOOD AND HAPPY. GOD BLESS

19:49 mark..looks like ram air exhaust manifolds & oil filter housing....motor is wrong color, but you may want to check the numbers and see what you got there..
Looks like 092 heads from a 1966 389 on the 4 speed engine. Long branch manifolds on both cars and the ram air pans on the auto car are worth some coin.
Best way to remove OR install engine with trans is at least remove front clip. Jack up high enough to remove trans support and you are done underneath. Keep up with the good vis and take care folks.
Those gaskets are for later model heads.some people cut the middle part off the gasket and cover that square hole with aluminum from soda can.as a performance mod.
Yes deff get the phs history paperwork on both cars. Jim Mattison dose it, not alot.. was $35 15 years ago. Finding a sitting car that were running with factory performance long branche manifolds set is really rare. 2 cars together. One with a upper and lower ram air pan and parts, all that stuffs worth alot of money. Keep and check part numbers on everything, a ra qjet or dizzy are harder to find and I see sell for more then the performance heads ect. A special bracket and flanges can be more disarable then the main performance parts.

I had a very clean 1968 similar car 4 spd /400... I sold mine to some guy from New Zealand the car was shipped there.
