Now we have people who mumble rap and shit and concerts are people on there phone. Person to person how could you ignore this. Ok, at the risk of sounding like EVERYBODY else.. This guy is incredible. He has PERFECT pitch and can nail just about every song as good, or better than the original artists. His voice has such range.
Does he still perform there? I'm thinking about making a cross country trip for pizza.

Thought exactly the same thing when I discovered MM doing "Timothy" by Jet about 15 years ago!! After killing "Timothy" (as you said, BETTER than the original!), I was in fucking TEARS after listening to him for the first time, NOBODY claps, and the PA goes, "...table 6, your pizza is ready...". His bass player dead-panned, "...there's like 3 people here..." Unbelievable!! I have regrettably never made it to see Mike Masse live, my bad

I can’t believe this guy is so talented and yet so underrated. It’s a shame because his vocals are amazing and he is very talented with acoustic guitar. I think everyone should listen to this man’s covers!

...such an amazing guitarist and vocalist who is absolutely giving incredible performances every time he is there...and yet is still playing in such a 'cold" place where people dont even bother to clap out of respect for his sincere effort...how sad and pathetic it is to notice once again that quality is endlessly and continiously underestimated...
i was thinking some of the same things, with the people walking in front of the camera and such, but i think that is part of the "show" so to speak. this dude is good. we know it, he knows it, everybody knows it.
Finally a cover that actually includes the part that starts "If my fist clenches crack it open"., it seems it's too hard for most people.

I love when a vocalist is articulate as well as musical and emotional. It doesn't hurt that he's using one of the best stage vocal microphones you can buy; the Neumann KMS 105. I have one and if I ever give it up it'll be because someone pried it out of my cold, dead fingers.

Where I come from (N.Ireland) we are subjected nightly to guys singing along to backing tracks,and sounding like full blown bands.I could happily sit all night and listen to you and your guitar and your voice.You and Jeff have inspired me (on bass) and our bands guitarist to do something like what you're doing.Thanks for what you do.
This man is a youtube leg end. I never fail to be blown away by not only his awesome delivery, but his vast catalogue of songs that he loves to play.
When you have a voice, the emotion and the feelings, each song seems effortless. Pete and Roger what shit on themselves if they heard this. What's ticking me off is the lack of appreciation from the patrons at the restaurant. He is a $100 a ticket world class performer.

If this was 40 years ago, and he had some original songs, he'd be on tour with a well known band. But since our music has gone to hell in a hand basket, and people have no taste anymore, he's playing in a pizza place. Wish he was in our town.

This Electro acoustic sounds amazing. I've been to what you'd call proper concerts and this guitar sounds better than what I've heard in large venues.

I stumbled upon mike masse searching for a pinball wizard acoustic performance. Sinc then i have watched him perform in great awe. When I saw his performances of "africa" and "paranoid android" I was hooked . A pure white light of talent. An inspiration to all musicians.
