I'm sorry but Channing Tatum as Gambit just doesn't do it for me. As much as I'd love to see a Gambit movie.
Do you think Taylor Kitsch was better? Who else would you think could do the role justice?
@@DrReelTV I don't know. I thought Taylor Kitsch was good for such a small role. I do admire Tatums dedication th the role but I'm thinking maybe Keanu Revves.
@@mitchpalmer5116 i disagree. keanu reeves is a great actor for roles that contain seriousness. gambit (and i mostly know him from the animated series back in the days) was a big mouthed, arrogant piece of work. like most of the x-men's first created generation (cyclopse and everybody else), gambit was antagonistic, deserving a highlighted spot due to his unherolike character. i think tatum would be a good fit, maybe not the perfect fit, cause he adapts to roles. and the recent history has shown that actors who kinda identify with their characters deliver good results. i really don't see anybody being perfect for that role, maybe someone like iwan rheon who plays ramsey bolton in game of thrones?
I agree Reeves is passed playing Gambit. While I think it should only be Tatum, what about Ryan Gosling or Glen Powell?
@@DrReelTV ryan gosling might be an underrated choice. i personally don't rate it over tatum but might be good.
Not a hater but imma be real. Channing Tatum cannot do Gambit. Sorry. He doesn't have a Cajun accent nor the poise nor can he hypnotize or seduce people with his charm. Taylor Kitch was a better Gambit no doubt. And he looked Cajun. I don't want to see Tatum at all. Gambit should be done by an actor with Cajun roots
Tatum lived in the Bayous since he was 6. Kitsch is canadian.
Ur full och shit, he was spot on. He needs an own movie. Probably with a translator for the rest of the world to understand 😅
I agree with subtitles part. Like a Jackie Chan movie lol
Wolverine Origins got 3 characters completely wrong - Gambit, Deadpool and Blob. Kitsch had no resemblance or accent to Gambit
Tatum is Cajun kitsch is Canadian
Wrong? He's just the right guy to be in this movie.
What went wrong was they didn’t cast him sooner and bring Gambit into the movies. That’s what went wrong 😉
He is the worst!!!!! gamb
Who would you rather see in the role?
