If Mephisto is on this list, Dormammu should have at least been mentioned since it’s explicitly stated at one point that Dormammu could defeat Mephisto and the other Hell Lords in a fight, and has grown to be even more powerful than Odin. And the MCU describes Dormammu as an 11th Dimensional being.
I agree Chad. But I also think all those cosmic beings are beyond normal levels. We have the Celestials, extremely powerful, and above the Celestials we have Knull, since he was able to take a Celestial easily. Then we have the Chaos King, Amatsu Mikaboshi, and they couldn't actually defeat him, they had to seal him off in a dimension that was created to keep him there. A dimension he would one day be able to, once more, get out of. He also just has a badass name and look. Then Dark Sentry, Void, who is possibly beyond-galaxy level in power (where he could destroy galaxies if not prevented), since he was able to take Molecule Man 1v1, and took all the combined strengths of the Avengers and Fantastic Four to stop him. We have Dormammu, who is also beyond-galaxy level. Then below him is Mephisto. Then below Mephisto is probably Thanos and Kang.
Also, I've always thought, Chad, that if Dormammu, who is often considered to be on Chaos King's level in power, then he'd be much stronger than Galactus and Mephisto. Chaos King could actually, probably, body Dormammu. I doubt they'd work side-by-side, even if that is terrifying to think about them morphing into one being, but I could see them getting into a beyond-universe level. A battle that would cause the Celestials to go running for the hills. A battle that would make Galactus weary.
While Knull is not likely to show up in the MCU, we know he exists within it. Cause the celestial head he severed came to be knowhere in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
Technically, without it being officially said, Knull is the one that "corrupted" Gor and gave him the Necrosword in Love and Thunder. Who else would that have been?
I feel like a lot of characters are forgotten, my personal favorite is Nyx; she was capable of killing an entire pantheon of gods with little to no effort while being at a fraction of her true power and she almost recreated creation to be just darkness for her pleasure
I think knull is stronger than galactus. He literally killed celestials.and probably could have just killed him. The only things that hurt him were the god of light venom and silver surfer and Thor’s power
Umm. You say Knull is stronger than Galactus, yet Silver Surfer can hurt him? That doesn't follow. SS gets his power from G (and only a tiny fraction of it). So if SS can hurt him, then G could hurt him far worse.
The beyonder is like a stronger version of molecule man so he would beat doctor doom but I don’t really think he cares about our multiverse because I believe he made his own And while doctor doom destroyed the beyonders with the help of the molecule men the beyonder is on another level from the rest of his species only second to the one above all he could annihilate the multiverse as a thought
@@Eycei Yeah, but that story doesn't exist. We can "What if..." all day. The Presence could crossover and bear the beyonder anytime he thinks of harming doom.
God King Doom isn’t a legit being in this universe, he is a multiversal being from “What If” just like King Thanos who is one of the strongest mcu villains to ever exists
Funny thing, Magneto is actually significantly UNDER powered in almost all incarnations. If his power is over magnetism, then he by definition can control of electromagnetism, including light and the weak nuclear force. He could produce any frequency he wished, and even create and manipulate a FUSION REACTION. I always think it's funny how so many superheroes are inexplicably or conveniently overpowered, and then we have Magneto who doesn't get even half the powers that would actually possess with his cannon abilities.
Same can be said of Apocalypse, pretty much a God, he should be unbeatable… the plot armor is he usually gets annoyed because his chosen Horsemen fail to advance his agenda
I really love knull. For me He's the most relatable. Going on a destruction rampage because someone disturbed your sleep. Yeahhh.. totally relatable. I think you also forgot that Knull enslaved like 3 celestials and killed Sentry
I mean there's a slaughtered head of an Eternal in Guardians of the Galaxy movie, they could use that as a hint for Knull in a serie, movie or somenthing tbh
Fun fact: The Hulk once cracked Onslaught's armor. After the combined might of The X-Men, Fantastic Four, and The Avengers failed to defeat Onslaught, Jean Grey separated Banner's consciousness from the Hulk's.
Considering that the last listed upcoming movie for the MCU is Avengers: Secret Wars, I think it's safe to say we'll be seeing the beyonders and molecule man in the big screen soon
Because he was the first BIG BADDIE of the MCU, it's become "the thing" to talk up other villains that are superior to him. Thanos is extremely powerful and dangerous. Don't confuse MCU Thanos with how formidable he is in the comic books.
Thanos in the comics isn't just dangerous because he's powerful. He's dangerous mostly because he is very clever. He often out wits cosmic entities, beings of far greater power than himself. They certainly don't think he's a joke, if anything they are a joke to him. Same situation with Doctor Doom. He's a real clever villan.
Loved the video!💕 Just started my comic book collection and found Toon Haven. They offer a huge variety of digital comics for every genre, and lifetime updates too!😍
The problem with this analysis is that in the first version of the Infinity War, Thanos defeated the combined force of Galactus, Death, Mephisto, and about a dozen other cosmic beings. The Beyonders may transcend the Infinity Gauntlet, but I'm pretty certain that the Marvel creative gods have intended that the Gauntlet be the ultimate power in this universe with the possible exceptions of Eternity and The Living Tribunal.
Correct, now other villains have possessed the stones like Ultron and Dr.Doom but Thanos with the Infinity Stones is in fact the most powerful being in the Marvel pantheon being more powerful than Ultron and Doom even when they possessed the stones.
Kinda alot of things to correct. Yes, the Moleculeman did "rip the sentry appart" for a moment, ( maybe because The Sentries guards was down ) but The Sentry came back very fast and commanded The Molecule man to fix the universe, by torturing and keeping the M-man in checkmate. So by that The Sentry is defently alot stronger than the Molecule man, but.. the sentry is on the "good side" yet he does have "the void" within, that are evil.. so.. I guess "the void - sentry" is stronger than Moleculeman !
That comic was just pis (plot induced stupidity) The molecule man has threatened life bringer Galactus by saying he could end him with a thought, and has held an Omni verse in a box. Molecule man is way above the sentry
The sad thing is Galactus has been nerfed so much to make these villains look good. Galactus as originally written should be able to take on all these villains and more.
No he shouldn’t lmao, maybe some sure, but Oblivion and Beyonders utterly destroy him (even with how he was originally created) other stronger characters like Molecule man and the Beyonders were nerfed too
Theoretically he still could if he managed to be full. That's why my first thought in the avengers tv show after they said" we transported him to a realm where he can feed forever" was " you did WHAT!!!"
Molecule man absorbed the power and was lending a fraction of it to Dr. Doom after that MM took the power away he got help of Franklin to remake the multiverse.
He still need external support to do it And I think future doom is stronger than that battleworld doom , he even master iron first, become spirit of vengeance, own star brand, even become sorcerer supreme
@@Tribrid-zv3nq This list is talking about villains. Otherwise I am sure a few other cosmic entities would be here. Like the one above all. Even in the title it says villains.
@@Tribrid-zv3nq I mean yeah but i dont know if Annihilus counts as a cosmic entity. But yes doctor doom should not be on this list because he wasnt powerful the whole time.
I can't believe you didn't mention Juggernaut being punched across the country and being terrified of Onslaught. That was an intense moment in my comic book memories.
@@Batmaninfiniteprep97 astral regulator Thanos defeated all cosmic entities including TOAA if I recall, so he should be top tier. But the whole list is impossible to nail down due to the nature of comics.
@@paulzuniga4256 He didn't defeat all the Cosmic Entities. He defeated multiple ones but HE absorbed THE ETERNITY who's an avatar of TOAA not TOAA himself. How can Thanos absorb a being that is boundless and omnipotent. It's cap and ART is still non canon, and at last after absorbing the eternity he faced the living tribunal and Above All Others(another avatar of TOAA)and they said they are against Thanos. And at last, Thanos didnt even do shit
@Frankie lol. Fuck no. Half that was would get crushed by Shuma Gorath. Dr Strange multiple power ups before even facing Shuma Gorath in his realm. At his height of power, Shuma Gorath is above Mepshito and Dormammu.
@@Batmaninfiniteprep97 This is partly true but tbh 99% of these cosmic stories. Similarly to the Chaos King story are written by the one writer and usually full of Pis and nonsense that doesn't co inside with continuity. I've been reading these stories for over 30 years and they are fun but really stupid. Marvel has around 40 near Omnipotents which is ridiculous in its own right.
Truth be told being a villain is not about one's power but they're actions. You could have insane levels of power and still just be a source of destructive power reacting to opposition. Thanos might not have had natural power but always saw only himself as the winner in the end. No powers, no inherent influence. He obtained it without it. Its why he respected ironman because he kind of saw himself.
@@seatonking8136 the dcau was a great blue print for the live actions if they had more patience. Randall Savage and Amazo could have been phase one , then mongul . Maybe brainiac then darkzeid. Yea, I mean he stresses at the beginning that Thanos didn't destroy creation so that somehow makes him weaker than these villains. Thanos didn't destroy creation when he obtained the gauntlet because he didn't want to. He could have, and also done anything the villains on this list did, and then some. It's just a matter of what his motivations and goals were.
@@Windy-b9pno he isn’t. He was so strong they had to pull off a bullshit time travel-unwrite the character plot to defeat him He ERASED THE LIVING TRIBUNAL from existence across ALL universes in the Multiverse with a MERE THOUGHT. TLT is stronger than everyone on this list except The Beyonder.
I think "The Marquis Of Death" should be included in this list as he is one of the most major threats to the entire Marvel Multiverse and was the master of Victor Von Doom(Dr.Doom)..He has accomplished feats like heating up all the stars in the universe to channel a big bang powerful enough to destroy an entire universe in a wham so I think he deserves at least 2nd spot on the list..
@@markozerdin9784 no, Dr Doom defeated him ONLY after the Thing went and got the same person "Clyde Wincham" and they had a battle using some of the most powerful characters such as eternity, galactus, Thanos. I'm sorry but the marquise of death is THE MOST POWERFUL MARVEL VILLAIN hands down
The original Beyonder was such a massively powerful entity that it destroyed all life in the universe on a whim and only restored everything because it got bored. Literally nothing could stop it until it created a machine to turn itself mortal (again, for kicks) and people messed with the circuitry, causing it to actually die. That will forever be the biggest threat of the Marvel universe in my humble opinion.
Don’t forget about him recreating all of existence and wrecking over a billion dimensions in one shot. Stan Lee himself said that he was equal to the One Above All, and Molecule Man was equal to him.
Yep. When he was first introduced, the Beyonder had no perceptible limits to his power. He was basically 'Q" from Star Trek. Whatever he thought of, became reality. No Marvel Hero can fight that kind of power. The Dark Phoenix, or maybe Franklin Richards, were somewhat on that level of power. But overall the Beyonder, when we first met him, was God.
@@The-fs5wn The One Above All was meant to be the single, highest order of being in the Marvel Universe. But we all knew better. Stan Lee was the One Above the One Above All, lol.

Use Marvel Unlimited. They have “The Road to Onslaught” parts 1-4, and the Onslaught Saga parts 1-4 on there. Not sure about onslaught Aftermath though
What about the “One Below All?” Basically the anti thesis of the One Above All, Entropy incarnate and the ruler of the underworld of all realities. Even the combined powers of all the villains within this list pales in comparison to its astronomical might. The likes of Mephisto admitting to Dr Strange, that even he cannot undo anything it has done for it is significantly “Stronger” than he is
I believe the one below all is a corrupted version of one above all...like one person with two personalities. Like "good" and "bad" existing side by side. Im not too sure though.
@@mrarrow8135 Yep, but a villain nonetheless and the most powerful one at that. Can’t think of anyone more powerful than the source of all evil in the multiverse and dubbed the Cosmic Satan

@@Tribrid-zv3nq no it’s not he saying that Thanos was able To fight Thanos a little bit he was just say that because galactus is super powerful and Thanos fighting him is impressive even though he lost
What’s funny is that the scentry’s dark side blew up molecule man right after and rearranged himself back while molecule man wasn’t able to do it/wasn’t allowed to. I know I know “bu bu but he was needed” both get nerfed both’s power depends on how they feel. With that being said I’m not gonna argue who’s stronger but why I’m making this comment is to prove that scentry’s dark side should at least be in the top 5
Sentry doesn’t have consistent enough feats to be in the top 5 lol Molecule man is consistently more powerful than literally every other character on this list. He’s literally threatened the life of an amped galactus (life bringer Galactus) by erasing him with a thought, has gone toe to toe with a pre retcon Beyonder, and had absorbed every Beyonder from the beyond realm, (just 3 of them was enough to kill the living tribunal)
I would too, but can't help but think about how complicated an undertaking that would be for Marvel, not to mention how much lead up it would require. Before we could introduce him, we would have to tell the story of AoA. But before that, the M'Kraan Crystal and D'ken of the Shiar and the Starjammers. Before that, a number of X-Men story arcs, including yet another Phoenix/Dark Phoenix Saga (which we've done twice already). I just don't know. It could happen, but It's a lot of work to get there. And they've only recently hinted to the existence of mutants in the Multiverse. Maybe Phase 7 or 8? (knock on wood)
For weeks I've wondered how you've gotten so big so fast and today it dawned on me, you're CBR but actually good and factual. That's what the comic book/anime/manga communities have wanted for years but all we really had was ComicDrake. Thank you, keep up the good work 👌
It's not about how strong a villain is, it's about how relatable he/she is and the moral ambiguity of his goals. That's what made for best marvel and DC villains. Good vid.
Goddess, the expression of Adam Warlock's divine half, has been largely forgotten. Once possessed 30 Cosmic Cubes, she combined them into a single Cosmic Egg which gave her insane power over reality, which she used in a crusade to exterminate evil from the universe by any means necessary. All she lacked was power over the soul. Required a team-up of Warlock, Thanos, and Professor Xavier to take her down using the soul gem.
Galactus, when fed, is often considered just below eternity and death hence why he is the ‘balance between them’. Eternity can wipe all the celestials by himself so surely galactus can wipe out most which puts him above knull. He’s just been nerfed a lot to make other characters seem more powerful.
It's not so much Thano's raw power as it is his cunning. He fights people more powerful than him all the time and wins or at the very least draws by outsmarting them and being better prepared.
I mean thanos in the original infinity war, was way stronger than the mcu thanos. He was able to not only defeat but toy with the avengers, xmen, asgardians, silver surfer, galactus, the watchers, the eternals, the inhumans, and others all at the same time. The only reason he lost was because he got distracted by adam warlock and nebula was able to steal the gauntlet from him.
Thanos is his tech though. Take it away and there are tons of heros that would destroy him. Anybody could use the infinity gauntlet potentially. He is a great villian but he used to run away from Drax the Destroyer in the early days.
@Kevin Herman what’s with every idiot like you saying take away his genius and anyone can beat him. Other characters could have gone for his power ups but didn’t. Are you gonna say take away Ironmans suit and he isn’t anything or are you going to leave the character how they were made by the artists instead of making excuses to make them weaker?
Shows how much of a joke the MCU and in particular Kang is to them. Kang has been defeated a minimum of 4 times; female Loki, the war to become Kang of Kangs (the one F Loki killed) being defeated and exiled to the quantumverse and being beaten by fucking socialist ants. Compare that to the first time thanos enters the screen and kills Loki, heimdall and beats the hulk so badly he hid for the rest of the saga. Now remember Kang is supposed to be more powerful then Thanos and enjoy the laugh
@@chedddargoblin Great way of looking at it. And in the MCU Jonathan Majors does a fantastic job at portraying Kang. I think Marvel is doing a good job with the MCU, its hard to translate comics to the big screen, and people should cut some slack because not everybody is a die hard fan.
I feel we will eventually get Knull. Tom's next trilogy, Miles eventually being introduced, whatever happens in Madame Web could introduce more spideys, Venom and his movies. Some time and good plot put in could bring Knull in somehow
While not impossible, it's unlikely that Knull will show up as a MAIN antagonist. I do see him making an appearance through a quick CGI sequence to establish a plot.
Thanos could have been on this list tho, heart of the universe thanos? even infinity guantlet thanos is able to enslave cosmic entities ( galactus being just one of many ).. i know thanos is mainstream popular but you can't discredit the character's antics and accolades.
in that argument you could use the strongest form of any character like Galactus but he’s going off of just base power because how strong the character is just depends on the writer
@@optimus2131 this isn’t just base he use onslaught when he had Franklin and legion powers+ he clearly was referring to ig thanos at the beginning of the video 😞
Is OP wrong though? Infinity Gauntlet thanos did enslave cosmic entities, and not considered another form for how well known he is with the stones already. He enslaved Galactus, Eternity, and a lot more. But I think Thanos not being on the list is on purpose, as the video is attempting to show villains that are comparable to him and to show other underrated villains out there instead.
Well, if we're talking about all versions of comic Thanos, your forgetting Heart of the universe Thanos and especially Astral Regulator Thanos who literally absorbed all the cosmis level beings into himself and became TOAA.
Thanos literally destroyed the multiverse to save it, Thanos killed everyone but Death when he and Death were alone in the void after destroying everything he said goodbye to Death and sacrificed himself to heal the multiverse and bring everyone back. It was as if Thanos never existed nobody but Death would know of his sacrifice. Thanos destroyed and remade the multiverse, only TOAA is more powerful.
There's some foes Dr strange face are truly unstoppable unless with extensive magical knowledge Take nightmare for example, there's nothing avengers could do to stop him interrupting everyone's mind, and being somewhere near galactus level..like dormammy, shuma gorath, cthon, cyttorak are just too broken Luckily even though they still have a feeling to conquer and take over the world and do it in some occasion...they more likely to mind their own business xD
@ thats for sure, need combined effort of eternity and dormammu just to sealed him Strange even borrow little of zom power to stop hulk and almost get himself killed
MCU Thanos, I'll agree with this list. Actual comic book version, the non-gauntlet wearing Thanos is on par with the large majority of these beings; non of them want any part of Thanos. Gauntlet wearing Thanos, a good portion of these beings including the Celestials, Chaos and Order, even Eternity tried to take him all at once to no avail. Thanos' most dangerous enemy has always been himself...and now the MCU.
Actually you're completely wrong, Thanos in the comics is as powerful or even more than some cosmic beings. The movies doesn't do him Justice since the only power they show him with is what the gauntlet. But Thanos has a slew of different powers. Just a blast alone from his hand through Galactus across a planet. And with the gauntlet he obliterated reality killing every cosmic entity. So yeah he's up there with the most powerful beings in the universe. MCU is hardly a depiction.
That’s the main thing I hate about the MCU the nerfs. I understand why they do it but as a comic book nerd it really sucks seeing the vegan diet low fat no cholesterol versions of your favorite characters being depicted like that and being embedded into the public consciousness as THE definitive version of said characters
The people on this list are above him because he needed a gauntlet to have their abilities and be as dangerous. Without the gauntlet he wouldn't be able to do any of those things! Who on this list could Thanos beat without the gauntlet?
Next up, the most darkest, blackest, all - powerful, ultimate, primordial destructive godlike demonic mother darkness of all chaotic blackest blackness, magic multi-realities of darkest souless voodoo blackness in the entire ultra alternate, universal infinity void reality of darkest enhanced forever galactic cosmic negative uni-time itself!
@@jampanther8846 Thanos in the comics beat a Powered up Annihilus using his own vast array of powers. Hell Knull struggled with Thor and Surfer who comic Thanos has curbstomped multiple times.
I think Galactus is probably closer to the back of the list, with Murdoch being last. Considering Galactus is probably a universal threat as at the most. With Knoll being above Galactus, then the rest are multiversal threats.
This was cool , even learned about a few new villains. I would agree that Galactus was in the top 3, I think Dormamu and Apocalypse should have been there too. I'm surprised Thanos wasn't on the list either. I remember him from comics and trading cards from back in the day that he was pretty powerful.
This video isn’t accurate, dormamu and apocalypse are just little ants for the big villains, oblivion, chaos king and many more. They also did not add toba hulk or toba (the one below all). Those two can already kill everyone on the list
He might only have blinked (NOT killed, big difference a nerd would know) half the life in the universe, but he was CAPABLE of restarting the universe completely to his liking. That said, that power was technically the Infinity Gauntlet & Gems not some inherent power of himself. He was merely strong enough to use the Gauntlet. Doesn't make him Top 10 but just thought it was worth a mention.
Read the marvel the end comics where infinity stone thanos was an ant to him and not one of the socialist ants that beat Kang but an actual insect as he killed the entire universe and remade it in his image meaning he killed everyone on this list.
@@MyStrongTower34 I think the Marvel writers are just ignoring that Sentry has those Powers. Otherwise he would be to OP. Because technically Sentry could have revived himself after Knull killed him.
Thanos has held his own against Galactus and stalemated which already puts him above most of this list. The mystical entities (Mephisto, Dormammu, Nightmare, Etc.) are all weaker then Galactus and by a decent margin. Annihilus is a tyrant who rules the negative zone and is a mortal which puts him below the mystical entities. Onslaught also falls beneath Galactus in terms of power. Thanos also can easily body Mangog. So yeah he certainly should have a spot here.
I agree with this when Thanos first came out.....but current Thanos (Astral Regulator Thanos) is actually on par with TOAA. None of these characters on this list can touch this Thanos.
Lol I forgot about when Thanos stole the power of the one above all, yes indeed. Even though I kinda feel like the one above all just let him do so.... kinda weird writing, but still epic.
Mangod would've made a better villain for the latest Thor movie. Also we might be seeing knull on the screen. His sword is the one they was using in the new Thor.
@@archaicrapture Have you seen the latest Thor movie? Gorr wasn't really interesting. He was just a plot device to introduce the girl. Mangod would've been a better challenge for the 2 Thors. Jane sacrificing herself to save the world and little girl from him would be more worth the view and emotional pull.
Yeah, the thing about the infinity gems was no one knew they'd work that way. Throughout the original Infinity Gauntlet, very few had a grasp of just how powerful Thanos had gotten.
The only person I can think of that uses intellect as a weapon more than thanos is doom. Doom by himself is a literal human, but at times, he seems like a bigger threat than thanos with his intellect alone. Thanos without his intellect is still massively powerful Rivaling hulk in strength Thor in energy projection And unparelled in durability
Why does everyone forget about how powerful Jean Grey is. She has the phoniex force. She can literally think about things happening and they happen. She is one of the if the the most powerful mutants in the world. She's just being held back by professor x. If she let her ultimate force roam free nobody would be able to withstand her.
Jean Grey is the most powerful Phoenix host ever, but she is not above these beings. Yes, she has fought and held off Galactus from devouring a world(incidentally destroying the world in the process) but Galactus was in a starved state and not at full power. The Phoenix entity ITSELF might be as powerful as these cosmic beings. I believe it even had a hand in creating Galactus when combined with the previous universe, but it is not a villain, it is simply a force of the universe.
Wasn't Knull in the Thor love and Thunder movie? Where Gorr The God Butcher was nearly killed, there was a body laying beneath him just when he was chosen by the Necro sword.
Actually, he might, as he is essentially the Lord of Hell in the Marvel Multiverse. It had been stated (and inferred in DS: MoM) that Marvel's Hell is singular but shared. In other words, it is one place, but common to and connecting with all universes of the Multiverse. For example, the dead spirits possessing Zombie Defender Strange didn't care what universe he came from. They aren't universe-picky; any soul from any universe is fair game. So it doesn't matter what universe you come from. If you go to Hell, you are going to the same Hell as anyone else in the Multiverse. And Mephisto rules over it, and over all the corrupted souls that come to him from anywhere. Which means he is the antithesis to the one Above All. Like Lucifer is to God in real world Judeo-Christian dogma.
@@4Maestro1 But that's not ture. He's just a Hell Lord ruling a section of hell. Marvel's after life doesn't follow Judaism Christianity & it's not explained very well. It's not like DC Black Label where such concepts are fully explained.
@@archaicrapture You are right AND wrong. While the last sentence of my paragraph was intended as an analogy to help readers understand the parallel, and it could be misread or misunderstood as a Judeo-Christian specific example. I suppose I should have been more clear. My point was that, as far as Marvel is concerned, Hell is a place where all souls--those who don't go directly to Heaven/Paradise/Eden/Nirvana/Valhalla/Elysian Fields, etc (whatever version of heaven a soul believes in), those that need some form or spiritual "cleansing", as it were, would go to this one same place. Regardless of religion or belief system, Hell is Hell. One place. If you went to Hell, you would see people from all faiths, all denominations, and all realities throughout the Multiverse. It is one place that everything filters into. There is not a Hell for every single person and every single religion and every single universe, That would add up to trillions (if not more) of Hells. But that's not the way it works. In the Marvel Multiverse, there is only one Hell. And Mephisto rules it. And He doesn't care what religion you are. So it's not just a Judeo-Christian thing. But you are right; Marvel could explain that aspect better. But it is sometimes a very touchy subject, as you can imagine. And people have very strong feelings when it comes to spiritual beliefs. Good thing it's just fiction.
@Darkchylde Marvel classed Odin and Galactus as equals "level 9" in their character hierarchy. And OF Thor stalemated and got the upperhand against Knull until he cheated his way to victory. He also had a bit of a scuffle with Silver Surfer who's classed level 8. Knull wasn't classed per se, but all these things say that he's absolutely not above level 9.
@Darkchylde The Void is classed level 8, Venom and Carnage are classed level 5, and the Celestials in that story were destroyed by the Sentry who's classed level 8.
@Darkchylde Knull wasn't classed he's a new spit shiny character after all, but I say he's on par with level 9 characters for reasons I stated in my first comment. And Old king Thor is not OF Thor, OF Thor is more powerful, old king Thor and Gorr are Jason Aaron written characters. The Sentry and X-Man(another level 8) supposedly worked together and defeated Galactus off screen.
@Darkchylde The Sentry might feel inconsistent to the blind eye, but really he isn't. He just has many versions, The Sentry, The Void, Merged Sentry, Merged Void and Death Seed Sentry when he had the Death Seed which is the opposite to the Life Seed that X-Man Nate had which made him more powerful than ever.
Cool list. But Galactus should be no where near top 3. Barely even Top 15. Galactus is slightly above Skyfather tier characters like Odin, Mephisto, etc. Hell even amped Galactus died to cosmic king Thor recently. He’s nowhere near top 3 strongest marvel villains based on feats.
I got to admit the second Fantastic Four movie was pretty bad but what put the nail on the coffin for me was turning a being like Galactus into a cosmic cloud, that was so dumb. Nice line up
yep, and as more then a mention, he did nearly wipe out the universe with the God-bomb, and it took 3 versions of Thor to beat him, All-Father Thor who is stated as being even more powerful than Odin (Odin who crushed Eternity and Infinity at that same time btw so stronger than Galactus) current day Thor, and past Thor. He also killed the Pantheons of all the gods as well as a Elder God even capable of creating life.
Kang isn’t powerful at all, I don’t know where this notion comes from Literally nothing is stopping someone like Owen Reece from straight up erasing kang from existence
Just a reminder Thanos also stole the Heart of the Universe and took out many of the ppl on this list with it to face the One Above All only to find out he was just a tiny drop in an Olympic sized pool - Jon Jones 😎
Shuma Gorath should be here. He is more powerfull than the ancient ones who Thanos kind of "feared" or let them die first before starting his conquest. At least as a Dr. Strange villain Shuma Gorath is number 1. Also Blackheart is more evil than Mephisto. Also Dr. Doom is interesting. I think these are in top 15.
No one is more evil than Memphisto, hes literally Marvel Satan. He is the "root of suffering" which basically means almost all suffering, war, and pain that every living being in the entire multiverse has ever had to endure can be traced back to him in some way, he's also the one who convinced Thanos to go on his rampage so he's responsible for the infinity war too. Human hatred? War? Famine? Adolf freakin Hitler? All mephistos doing.
Not to mention blackheart is one of ghostwriter's enemies, a demon who's known as the "son of satan", Mephisto is his literal father and therefore has complete and utter control over him as he does all other demons in all realities
@@TonicBlaze12 true. For me Blackheart is better and scarier tham Mephisto. Even though as you said Mephisto is his real father and can control him like all his demons. Still though i think Blackheart is better as a villain as he escapes from hell and want to surpass his father

Odin got on his knees to the Celestials so he isn't as powerful as most people think.
Mephisto is more powerful
Chton , mericuallar in-betweener , Lord chaos, Master Order .etc there should have been more powerful villains on this list ngl

Galactus has multiple forms, some stronger than others. A recently fed Galactus fought a several celestials at the same time
Galactus, when fed, is often considered just below eternity and death hence why he is the ‘balance between them’. Eternity can wipe all the celestials by himself so surely galactus can wipe out most which puts him above knull. He’s just been nerfed a lot to make other characters seem more powerful.
Knull being the most replayed part brings a smile to my face

He’s not lol, no one on this list is besides Beyonders I think, maybe pre Retcon Molecule man but idk
There's some foes Dr strange face are truly unstoppable unless with extensive magical knowledge
Take nightmare for example, there's nothing avengers could do to stop him interrupting everyone's mind, and being somewhere near galactus level..like dormammy, shuma gorath, cthon, cyttorak are just too broken
Luckily even though they still have a feeling to conquer and take over the world and do it in some occasion...they more likely to mind their own business xD
Zom is a being strange can never beat
@ thats for sure, need combined effort of eternity and dormammu just to sealed him
Strange even borrow little of zom power to stop hulk and almost get himself killed
Nightmare just recently got buffed, as he was controlling ivory kings, which makes nightmare above the living tribunal now
MCU Thanos, I'll agree with this list.
I don't think most of them are better than Thanos with Heart of the Universe. Don't think Thanos with Gauntlet full of gems is his ultimate.

I think Galactus is probably closer to the back of the list, with Murdoch being last. Considering Galactus is probably a universal threat as at the most. With Knoll being above Galactus, then the rest are multiversal threats.
Hmm, Galactus from what I've heard hasn't been hunger satisfied, so we don't know if he could be higher on the list ?
I don’t think anyone can make thanos look like a rookie. Thanos once became everything, which made him the strongest and most powerful
God Doom surely made Thanos look like a rookie
Thanos doesn’t belong in the Top 10? I’d love to see Onslaught match his accomplishments. I hate him, but he’s a tough SOB.
Absolutely not probably Top 25 if that
This was cool , even learned about a few new villains.
Apocalypse is so underrated

@@thebookwithmanycovers Marvel classed both of them as level 8 in their character hierarchy.
Thanos and Galactus are my favourite Marvel villains with interesting history in my opinion
If I remember correctly, sentry reassembled himself and beat molecule man then made him fix everything 🤔

Astral Regulator Thanos isn't canon.
TOAA?
Lol I forgot about when Thanos stole the power of the one above all, yes indeed. Even though I kinda feel like the one above all just let him do so.... kinda weird writing, but still epic.

Thanos was strong to be sure. But his intelligence was his greatest weapon
Thanos without his intellect is still massively powerful
Rivaling hulk in strength
Thor in energy projection
And unparelled in durability
The One Below All? Dormammu? The Dark Celestials? Full power Surtur? Ego?
Why does everyone forget about how powerful Jean Grey is. She has the phoniex force. She can literally think about things happening and they happen. She is one of the if the the most powerful mutants in the world. She's just being held back by professor x. If she let her ultimate force roam free nobody would be able to withstand her.
bro i dont think you realize how powerful the people on this list are
jean grey cant destroy the entire multiverse, let alone a universe
Jean Grey is the most powerful Phoenix host ever, but she is not above these beings. Yes, she has fought and held off Galactus from devouring a world(incidentally destroying the world in the process) but Galactus was in a starved state and not at full power. The Phoenix entity ITSELF might be as powerful as these cosmic beings. I believe it even had a hand in creating Galactus when combined with the previous universe, but it is not a villain, it is simply a force of the universe.
shes mad trash compared to these , even goblin force is stronger and is not in this list
Why wasn't the Dark Pheonix on the list? You can't say she's not a Universal threat.

There is absolutely no way Mephisto beats Chaos King. Chaos King is a multiversal threat where Mephisto is nowhere near that level of power
I totally agree with you. Mephisto is not on par with the Chaos King
@@ER-qx5gg Mephisto shouldn't even be on this list

Nope, equal.
He’s nowhere near top 3 strongest marvel villains based on feats.

yep, and as more then a mention, he did nearly wipe out the universe with the God-bomb, and it took 3 versions of Thor to beat him, All-Father Thor who is stated as being even more powerful than Odin (Odin who crushed Eternity and Infinity at that same time btw so stronger than Galactus) current day Thor, and past Thor. He also killed the Pantheons of all the gods as well as a Elder God even capable of creating life.
