DAMN!! NICE!! I did that when I was doing tuner testing on my 6mm creedmoor build. Hit setting “4” on the tuner, and put 2 through one hole. Decided to shoot at that setting until I saw it open up. Had 12 rounds left, and it was about a 3/4” hole. But .46!! (cold bore doesn’t count!) That’s pretty damn impressive!!

I thought you measured groups center to center. So you should subtract bullet diameter from the outside measurement. Dude! That's a great group even counting the cold bore. Do you remember what Hornady said you could expect with dispersion when increasing sample size? I think you're pushing their findings and shooting tighter than they say you should. Going from a 5 shot group to 15 shots you only increased your group size by 0.14 inches! I think Hornady should look at this video at give us their impression. Great Shooting. Using my calculations, you group size increased 41.66% by going from 5 to 15 shots. Sounds like a lot but you were starting with a .336 inch group. You're going to have to go into the barrel chambering business!

When I measure groups I zero the caliper at bullet diameter then go outside to outside. It essentially the same as measuring center to center. Definitely happy with the group. This also gives me confidence that no shot should fall out of .75 moa if I do my part.

@@RobsReloading to get small groups, you need wind flags. Even at 100 yards. Bench rest always use flags. Shooting for groups, esp past half a inch, is pointless without flags. Even a 6.5 will deflect enough. a little wind left and a little wind right between two shots will increase the group ALOT.
Not using flags will not let you get the true accuracy of the gun..
With a cold bore shot like that would have instantly lost you a competition in bench rest..

I just started playing with 130 hybrids yesterday in the x47. 37.1 and 37.5 of n540 with a br4 both shot .2’s. Just a tidbit of info if you are looking for some.

What advantage, if any, does the X47 have over the Creedmoor?

There is no advantage, but the x47 is older then creedmoor but they are quite similar. Lapua is the maker of x47 and its a cartridge made for precision shooting and is a entirely unique case design.
In short, CM is better as there is more components (cases primaryly). But the performance is close enough as not to matter.
