I like that you acknowledged some days you feel more stable than others. I think shooters often overlook the impact the shooter has on group size. It’s simply not easy to consistently shoot 1/2 MOA groups.
I usually feel the best I can hold on my set up is maybe .3-.4 at 100yds. That is why I am usually thrilled with anything around the .5-.7 group range.
I just bought a Remington 700 in a Eliseo chassis with a Obermeyer barrel 1in 8.5 twist. I just ordered bullets and brass still putting componets together. I brought 123 grain laupa and sierra maych kings 123 grain. Im going to try accurate 4064 and vv 150 because i have it. Thanks for the videos im going to get some 4350 i used to use it on my 6mm 22-250
Id love you see you use Tony Boyer or Lou Murdica’s method of start at .003” off of jam. I shoot benchrest and PRS and have found these methods to be extremely accurate. I have also pressure tested these methods and pressure changed very little from .003” off of jam to .250” off of jam. Too many wives tale’s about bullet seating going around. I go with the guy that has eclipsed all the other competitors in hall of fame points.
Isn’t this round almost perfectly similar to a 6.5 Creedmore? All his load data is translating well to my Bergara Premier Pro. I got a 123gr ELDM bullet shooting consistent .60 moa groups for me with Varget, Also same primers and brass. My fire form loads with that primer and brass combo was already grouping .60. It’s seems bulletproof
It is very similar the the creedmoor. I believe the case it a bit shorter with more body taper. I wouldn't exchange load data with the creedmoor. You will likely see trouble due to smaller case capacity.
Rob. What powder are using? My 6.5x47 with a 26” barrel R16 and Berger hybrid 140 will go 2870 f/ps 40.5 grain charge and 41 will do 2900 f/ps no pressure signs .4” groups
@@RobsReloading yes, I’ve been using lock-ease after I clean my barrels. Tightens up my first cold bore shot. Try it out…it’s only like $7 bucks a bottle
I push a patch soaked with lighter fluid through the barrel to get the oil out. What brand of muzzle break are you using, it sure looks very effective!
It's actually one pulled from a Christensens arms mpr in 300norma. The barrel contour is quite heavy and the rifle weight is 20#. The combo cuts the recoil well.
That is true however we have been using small sample size groups mostly 3 shot groups. Probably not enough to actually know if groups are changing. This video included the first 5 shot group at 0.60" and that the accuracy that I am hoping to maintain. I plan to shoot some larger sample size groups and you will likely see group size increase again. That is expected.
I have no experience with the mpa. I have been pretty happy overall with the seekins. The seekins is also a bit more affordable and has quick change barrel system. I did have some issues with feeding straight out of the box and had to buy a new mag. Seekins has been very helpful from a customer service standpoint however. Check out some of my earlier videos about the havak hit.
@kennygates1756 I have a 6x47, For me, Reloader 15 is the secret sauce. 31grs to33grs.110 Sierra hpbt. Ten thousands off the lands. To ten thousand in the lands. You'll find it somewhere , Mine will shoot half inch m o a all day at two hundreds😊😊😊

Absolutely I have the same days where I'm on or off .
Awesome! It has been cool to watch this project come together.

Great groups overall. Nice set up. Interesting chambering. I wasn't familiar with it. Thank you.
Good content. Good shooting. Good luck with the match.

After cleaning try using a couple patches of lock-ease graphite lube… tightens up the cold bore flyers
I have seen people who use stuff like that. Do you have experience with it and it really works?

What trigger weight do you use on your bolt guns???? TY
Nice job I have one

Recoil looks like a pellet rifle! @@RobsReloading
Since chambering you've been going up on velocity and on size groups diameter

Is that the nucleus action
It’s a seekins HIT
Do you recommend the Hit? Trying to decide between Seekins and MPA in 6 GT or 6x47.

I'm going through all your videos one at a time until I'm caught up. Enjoying your videos and appreciate the response@@RobsReloading

Easy solution, stop cleaning your barrel.
