You can put a magnet down in the bottom of the bit holder and it will keep your bits from falling out. Looks like a nice bargain priced multi tool.

I picked up the "bibury" version of these just out of curiosity and hopes that I could save a buck on replacing a wave+ that I lost. I sent it back. It looked pretty when I unboxed it but it just had so many little defects and felt so much more flimsy than the leatherman. I break the quality tools enough to know that that knockoff would never survive my dumb gorilla hands lol. You're right it'd make a good first multi-tool. Kind of like a multi-tool "free trial period" since it's so cheap. But I think most would upgrade to the real thing unless they only use a multi tool like once a year.
- you’re absolutely right. There are lots of things that test great right out of the box but with any real use you realize they just aren’t cut out for it. I threw my Rocktol in my tackle box
I also bought that Bibury. You often see 40% discounts of these on Amazon. So for $26 I've got a Leatherman Wave clone. A real Wave sells for $125. Personally, I'd rather have five pretty good clones than one genuine Wave.
@@bighill5680 Right, and I said the exact same thing after watching the reviews on the tube, and triumphantly ordered one. It certainly gave me a new appreciation for the real leatherman tools I'd been taking for granted for so long. So smooth to operate one handed in precarious situations. So much more sturdy when it's all you've got and it's -30 degrees and your under the truck on the side of the highway jerry rigging your transmission shifter cable or something. Carry one trustworthy tool, or carry five seedy ones and keep breaking em'. Pick your poison!
You can spray the new tool with WD40 to help loosen it up and work in the tool.

do you know if it would fit in a leather sheath for the leatheman wave, such as the 1781 edc or 1791 edc (i cant remeber the exactly) or the bushcraft sheath?
- I can’t say with 100% certainty but it likely will fit. It’s just slightly wider than the Wave but almost identical in all other measurements
1791 EDC. and yeah it fits it, just a hair tight, works pretty well
