Really Tata Motors?
Spending all this money at a posh hotel. Inviting journalists, UA-camrs and amateurs like us for a Nexon EV Color launch?
Sometimes we wonder how car companies can be so extravagant when it comes to PR.
- Creating concept cars that never see the light of the day
- Spending lakhs to show a car at malls
- Launch Events like these
How bout having regular events with your customers instead?

We thought this event was Punch EV or Tiago EV, but alas...

Chaddi apni ghar mein pehen liya karo. Aur jab kisi event ke liye tujhe bulaaya gaya ho, shukr ho ki recognise toh kar liya. Jaana pasand nahi tha, toh nahi jaane ka.
The earlier TaTa Motor car launches (and I was there Indica era and subsequent, just for reference) were in and around Pune, factory visit followed by a vegetarian Indian menu lunch at the Tata Motors Guest House area with Ratan Tata eating the same food as all of us and back to work. As journalists, we paid for our own hotel, transit and only local transport from/to we got some protocol. Today the rainmakers have taken over. Anyways, social media takes over from prepaid media!

Hey. This could have been done in a different way i feel. Like somebody taking the delivery of a Nexon EV Jet edition and you can cover that for the first time instead of this mainstream auto journalists method of going to a PR event where ICE vehicles are also present alongwith EVs. Glad you did not lose focus while checking out the Nexon EV Jet edition. Try it better next time :-)

You can try some local mechanic. They might try with parts from some other scooters
Tata will ruin its first mover advantage of it doesn't bring a low priced small ev soon. Maruti will slay it in the market if it comes up with cheap ev. Tata should not bask in the glory of Nexon. Absolutely disappointed.

A Jet Edition top end model in terms of interior & exterior looks/colours & good leatherette upholstery…..?🤔
Nothing shared of the real life kms. range of the car by experience or any other additions of newer technologies like auto-regeneration mode etc.etc.!!For this you spend almost ₹ 60,000 to 1,00,000/- more without having mentioned, whether it comes with a fast charger or regular charger…..?
