India is getting hotter. There is no time to waste. We must move to electric vehicles and wind and solar energy for electricity generation. No more coal power plants.
All said and done what is your contribution to becoming greener?? Buying an electric car doesn't help in reducing greenhouse gas in India atleast as most power plants are thermal.
Amazing questions and great responses from Vivek. I own both tigor and nexon and bought them in March 2022. Have not had too many problems but did have few in both cars. The service stations have been helpful. So much advancement yet to be done by Tata.
I hope Tata expands its EV line to the west/Canada. These affordable, low nonsense models are what we need. This is an SUV yet it's just over half the cost of the most affordable new EVs in Canada.

I saw 109 Wh/ per km in the video, it always shows 250 Wh/ per km in my car till about 40% battery is exhausted ,so stated average is never achieved, any solutions.

To answer your question on watt hour, I’ll check , but I don’t really care about it! If I have just drive 100 kms per day, why worry about it? How many drivers worry about fuel efficiency when driving ICE?
@@vivekvivekahuja yup that's the rationalization I used to book my Nexon prime too . It's 42lac (26.5L inr) here.
Was aching for bigger battery, but they are too expensive, like Kona 40KWhr is 40L inr and MG 44KWhr is 48L INR
So rationalizing with my run of daily 20-40 km why do I need a bigger battery?
Only anxiety I have is whether this Nexon's 30KWhr would take me to Lucknow which is about 200km from my home at India Nepal Border ie Nepalgunj. I Wanted Nexon Max just for this need, but due to it being 5KW above 100KW motor power, there's extra 30% taxation on it, so Tata didn't launch it in Nepal.

One big pollution issue everyone is not taking about is pollution which takes place for transportation of fossil fuel Vs pollution free electricity transportation.
Recently one nexon ev got burned up. I understand this is literally quite a rare chance, still it is a possibility. So want to know about below points:
- Does this kind of things covered in Insurance for EV
- Do company provide a new vehicle and RC or somehow give you the older one after repair if possible
How does the company do In case of ICE car fire ? I think it will be the same for EV!
