Thank you Joe Slaby, I know you are the one getting us the rundowns and behind the scene tour snippets. Your instagram is gold, oh yeah, we love you Danny!
@DannyCarey-e5s, we caught Beat in Charlotte, NC, last night (10/2). My 10-yrs old son got one of your sticks and you gave him a fist pump at the end of the show. You made him so happy and I appreciate you noticing the 5' kid within the masses at the front of the stage. Great show!
Wasn't that an amazing show? (4th row center!). MUCH better than the early videos. I've been to all the best concert tours over the past 50 yers or so. But I've never felt such raw emotion from an audience - grown men virtually sobbing like school girls!
You’re so faithful to Bill, it has been a great tour so far. Really enjoying the glimpses that UA-cam is supplying. Can’t wait for official recordings to be released.
Saw you in Minneapolis. I'm still not over this show. This music is incredible and BEAT has given it new life and this band is a statement to the world!
People are going to look back at this one day : I remember when they did this tour, I wish I'd gone when I had the chance. Thanks Danny ... I've watched you live since 93' Play on ...
Im so excited - less than a month before I get to see the show! Seeing Adrian and Tony playing Crimson, along with seeing Danny and seeing Steve, crosses so many items off of the bucket list in a single night!
We love the behind the scenes content. It may seem insignificant but I assure you drummers/people are interested! Hope to see you playing live again sometime soon.
I know what a dream come true this is for Danny. When I met him once all we talked about was Bruford and King Crimson 😂 the show was absolutely incredible! Do not miss this band ❤
They probably have a bunch of researchers trying to find something that would challenge him for the "First Time Hearing" segment of the visit. If that's the case, we may be waiting a looong time.
I had my doubts that you guys were actually going to do this tour when the first murmurs were heard. Stoked to see it actually come together. From what I have seen and heard so far, you're diving right into those playful Bruford parts. Astounding!
I'm so happy for you Danny. You're the only drummer I can think of that is deserving of this gig. Discipline changed my perception of what music can be. Huge fan, can't wait to see you in Las Vegas on November 8th. Cheers and most importantly, Congratulations.
Exciting to see an official Danny Carey youtube channel finally! I remember listening through the full Lateralus album at least once every single day for a period of over 1.5 years. I don't think any other album will ever top that. Thank you.
Sifu Danny! Thank you for twenty something years of inspiring me to practice more and keeping the fire of music alive in my soul and mind. Manly P. Hall, magic books, geometry topics gonna be on your menu here? I'll be here for everything you post! Thanks for spending time with us here!
I'm always impressed as a drummer. How someone as professional as you can reprogram their muscle memory to adjust to changing drum kit layouts. That to me is mind blowing. You have truly become one of the Giants upon whose shoulders I'm proud to stand on.
Saw the Beat show in Dallas with my son. I was listening to Tool when he was a toddler. It was a great show show. There were times were I think the audience was stunned by the level of musicianship and what was coming from the stage all at once. If you mis this tour, you are missing something truly special. Yes, Steve Vai will blow your mind with his amazing and tasteful playing. I am in my home office looking at a gold drum head that was signed by Danny Carey Terri Bozzio, Horacio Hernandez and Mike Portnoy ( A few others on there. ) What a day for drumming that was in Tampa, FL.
Love you Danny. You’ve inspired me as a drummer my whole life and I can’t thank you enough in my heart for being you. Stoked you’re releasing more content these days for us dorks to fan girl over 😅❤🤘🏼
coming to see y'all in Boston can't wait!!! im 27 so never seen any Crimson live, thank you for doing this!!! Saw you at TD with Tool last time you were here and was an amazing experiencre, have a great day!!!
Thank you Joe & Danny for this new video! Brought me joy to see you folks have a blast on this tour. :) I’d be curious to hear how Danny’s kit and sound on this tour compares to his TOOL kit. I hope we can see you in Europe at some point or maybe we’ll have some drum cam from this tour! Have fun and safe travels in the meantime!!
I was at this gig (I was the guy who mentioned the Miles Davis "In a Silent Way" thing during the pre-show). Great show, and the drums sounded absolutely great. Clear, resonant, and suited the sound perfect (especially "Indiscipline")
Have seen Tool 8x and a huge KC fan but in Australia so don’t like my chances. Well done for getting there! “In a Silent Way” also one of my all time favorites. Just curious - what was the reference?
Danny's most favorite thing - Playing Industry, Sartori in Tangier and The Sheltering Sky. His least favorite thing - having to wear a plaid collared shirt
Thank you for this Video! Im glad that you are playing with some of your Heros now, it is well deserved! ❤ It inspires me to keep drumming so I can maybe one day share a stage with you or my other heros!
Can't wait for Toronto Danny. I went for my first meet and greet ever! I met Buddy, I met Neil and now the circle (triangle) will be complete. I saw KC in the early 80's at the famed El Mocambo. Knocked on the dressing room door and had Bill Bruford sign a dollar bill for me.
So glad I found this channel! I watch your performance of Pneuma on the Vic Firth YT channel a couple of times a week, and have been listening to the Fear Inoculum album when I work out for the last month since I downloaded it. I can't wait to see what content you put out here. Oh, also LOVE your interview with Rick Beato!
Thank you Danny. I love watching you work with Tony trying to lock everything/one down. I have a request for both of you An ambient Levin/Carey improv thought space collab Fully out and atmospheric
I love Danny Carey, not only a monster drummer. But comes off in all interviews (the Rick Beato one most definitely) as being just a really down to earth nice guy.
It surprises me that while he endorses Evans, he uses remo pinstripes and a remo bass head. I guess when you are Danny Carey, you can do what you want lol
I've thought the same thing. He's used Remos often (relatively speaking) - especially in studio. Some of the studio photos that are out there you can see Remo on his kit.
Welcome to UA-cam Danny! This channel is going to blow up beyond comprehension lol
You are the reason why I'm here, I rushed here after your vid on Lateralus
Thank you Joe Slaby, I know you are the one getting us the rundowns and behind the scene tour snippets. Your instagram is gold, oh yeah, we love you Danny!
Amen!😍
I can't explain the feeling you get when you realize that your hero is actually an incredible human being!

We tool fans have all just agreed unanimously that the airport incident was a group hallucination.

Amazing to see Danny Carey officially in UA-cam! Look forward to the vids and what a beautiful kit
Bruford, and Bozzio incorporated drums on the kit. Outstanding!
Thank you Danny and Joe! Such a well thought out tribute kit!!!!!!!!

I’ve been a fan of Danny since 1994. He has had the most impact on my life over any other artist. Tool got me through 4 deployments. 🤘
Fuck yeah brother
Some would say you're an OG...

Thank you for bringing the Simmons sound back. And thank you for the amazing drumming.
Danny I am not a drummer but you are by far my favorite musician in the world. Keep doing what you do brother.
