I didn’t really get this song at first. It actually took quite a few listens before it hit me. Then I came to the realization it’s one of the greatest songs of all time 🤷🏼‍♂️

I always took the meaning of this song as hey, we're wrecking the planet with pollution and the threat of nuclear war and we need to wake up before it's too late. Oh, and one more thing...it's hard to tell on the album version but towards the end of the 1st instrumental, Danny stood up at the concert and smashed a huge gong behind him. It was my favorite moment from the show.
