    There's just something about this song, never get tired of it. I get so lost in it, in my own inner world, that I have no idea how much time has passed listening.

    Loved your honest reaction, mate. I think I've listened to this song over 200 times, I can't get enough of it. Tool are my path to enlightenment, it calms me when I need it most. Thanks so much for sharing, keep doing Tool reactions and the Tool army will watch. If you want to try an older song, try Cold and Ugly from their first EP. Live track, heavy and beautiful. Spiral out, bro 🌀

    Eh, don’t worry about what other people say on the internet. There’s a lot of people on UA-cam who are obviously lying when they said they’ve never heard of a song before; they’re easy to spot as they tend to react to big moments in songs before they happen - or exactly as they happen.
    As long as you’re enjoying doing these videos, that’s all that matters. There will always be negative nancies out there trying to tear things down rather than build them up. Happy you’re enjoying Tool and I look forward to your future reactions to their discography.

      Yeah man, I get that and totally expected there would be some folks like that going in. Not that bothered by them, just wanted to make a comment about them. I ignore them mostly or just thank them for stopping by. The positive comments have FAR outweighed the negative. Cheers, thanks for the comment and the watch!

    Pay no mind to the haters. Lots of people on the ole interwebs just to troll peoples and spread negativity. Love your reactions and please keep doing Tool. They’re my favorite band with Radiohead in a close second. People laugh when I say that like I’m talking about apples and oranges. Trust me there is a connection….. of greatness. 😎✌🏼

    I feel like that's a common experience. Most people have heard Schism and The Pot on the radio, but you really have to be a hard rock fan to get into Tool. Suggestion: when the song is playing, could you up the volume on that and lower the mic just a bit? Nice video though.

    Liking your channel.......wonder what you'd make of a little known band that nobody is really reviewing right now. They're called Boss Keloid and a really interesting and original band from Northern England, try tracks Orang of Noyne, Cecil succulent or Gentle Clovis!
    In fact try them all, excellent stuff that rewards repeated listening.

    I feel like Adam's tone is not talked about enough. The guitar "gods" are always revered for their amazing tone, but is Adam not absolutely killing it?!?!? 🤯🤯 I'm just a beginning player, but any time playing with my small amp in my bedroom and hitting any sounds that sound anything like Adam...I feel like I've done good that day. 😆 Also, the interplay of Justin and Adam on this song is incredible!! This is my favorite song...today! 🤣🤣

    Thank you for this reaction video! I fell down the Tool rabbit hole in Feb. I liked what you said about “listening” to Tool in the 90’s and 2000’s, and I am right there with you. I enjoyed SOBER, STINKFIST, 46 N 2, SCHISM… But I never “got totally into them” until Feb.
    That said, I think you should finish out FI: Invinsible, 7empest, and Pneuma (Danny Carey drum cam). Then go back and re-listen to those song you casually listens to before. You will have a greater appreciation on where their musicianship started to where it has evolved to now.
    Thanks again. Look forward to your next video 👍🏻

    As a lifetime prog fan. I just can't accept Tool as being progressive. At best it's alternative rock. Well constructed of course but not as exciting as Riverside or Porcupine Tree

      @@BrainWasherAttendent some people just like to be contrary. To each their own I guess. But this band, let alone this song, is literally the textbook definition for progressive. And I guess exciting is a subjective term.... I've had a million people say if you love tool you're going to love porcupine tree I'm sorry I just don't dig them I think they're pretty boring. I think their songs kind of drag on and they don't have that certain something that tool does. And I don't enjoy their singers voice as much.

    • @ophreacts214
      @ophreacts214  2 роки тому +1

      I'll disagree, but everyone has their own preferences, which is fine. To me, to be defined as prog, a song/group has to have a few things. Odd time signatures, time changes, and movements throughout a piece. To me, there's enough in Tool that meets that description. You may not agree, and that's fine, but bottom line, Tool is a damn good band and make damn good music. Thanks for stopping by by, definitely appreciate it. 🤜

      @@crystalscolza1663 I just find it funny that the need to categorize something as “progressive” as something better than “alternative”, and then use the band Tool of all bands to attempt to make the distinction was hilarious to me.
