- My dad and I have been working on this boat build for a while, but it is near its finish! With smaller add-ons like paint, foot pedal foam pad, door handle covers is left. The summer sun heats up the darker colors tremendously. The Honda BF-25 outboard pairs well with the new rig. Some decent sized fish have been caught out of it and it is looking good after multiple fishing trips, with being exposed to the harsh Arizona weather. Custom storage spots and weighting distribution was a key factor surrounding the whole build. If you'd like details on materials and planning send a message! All the materials were found at my local Lowes and ace hardware stores. The boat tops out around 26mph. Due to older and more recent videos merged together the video quality will be skewed, I record in 4k these days and didn't at the start of the build. Anyways, thanks for watching again!

For your floor supports and box framing, did you use wood or aluminum
its framed with steel. I don't have an aluminum welder. after several boat projects I got away with making it as light as possible since steel is way heavier than wood and aluminum.

Why not use aluminum for framing? You added so much unnecessary weight. Looks like a great build otherwise, well done.

Neat build. Seems quite unstable to be standing on the bow like that.
it is very stable. high winds and waves are okay. my only complaint for the build is the trolling motor.. I could have a few more thrusts. in about 10 mph winds I have to crank it up to 3 or 4 speed to get moving at a bass fishing pace. thank you for commenting
Whats top speed
almost 30 mph. Just fast enough for the smaller sized lakes here
