I work for a company that builds custom fishing boats. And we have been using a harbor freight weilder for 2 years now to build supports for all the molds we use. They work great.
Harbor Freight is one of my FAVORITE places to shop! Their coupons are AMAZING! They have a return policy that I've never heard of any place else in the world!
Love hour vids! Another idea I use velcro straps for.. I use them to secure all my anchor lines to my railing on my pontoon houseboat. (Keeps them organized, out from under your feet, off your deck, and most of all out of your prop..) I anchor in alot of current, so I have multiple anchors and lots of line. Works great..! Thanks for all the great ideas, !
@@FishinNStuff 😂 👍👍 Coworker [Owner of small HVAC business I worked for] liked to go walk around hardware stores just to look at what was new / available that we could use (&misuse) as needed to get the job done! ✌️

I really enjoy my Easy Flux welder. Made a rod rack for my buddies boat with it, a grill, fixed tons of random things, made a table, 5 rolls of wire and no issues.
As far as the Welders from Harbor Freight! Both my Son and I have one, and for home use. We are 100% satisfied!!! I made a Log Holder for the Fireplace wood in the back yard out of metal fence posts! That sucker is 2 1/2 ft W x 6 ft Lg x 7' High and holds a ton of logs, "just sayin"!!!
It's my current tackle box.. I know it's a bit big but I like taking a large variety of things..you can also drill holes and add rod holders that won't get in the way..carry my nets and my buckets..should definitely get better wheels if going out in the sand and you can't really beat that price of 50-60 bucks.
That titanium 125 flux core he showed I’ve had one for a year and welded so much stuff around the farm and they have been used and it 100% worth the money
Welder review would be great. I picked up their cheap chicago electric mig welder for around a hundred bucks. Worked for small jobs. Planning on building a truck trailer hitch mounted surf rod holder rack for fishing the beach
Hey I used the jumper cables to connect my minnkota 40lb trolling motor to my minnkota battery box for my fishing canoe . Cut off both alligator clips on one end and now use connectors to connect motor cables to jumper cables. Leave alligator clips attached on other end to clip on battery box . Handy bag to keep new motor cables compact and organized . 😀
The Harbor Freight welder durability video is a great idea. It's been done, but I would DEFINITELY, and repeatedly, watch yours. You, my man, have STYLE.
Harbor Freight is a great store. I've in the last 5 or so years switched to buying pretty much all my tools there. A lot of their tools have "life time warranty's" and they honor those warranty's better than anyone else out there.
Years ago, I actually bought 2 rod/reel spinning combos from harbor freight. Turned out to actually be decent quality too! I still have one of the reels
Well done Sir, Harbor Freight is a great place, kinda like the Dollar Store for things every fisherman needs. Hope your buddies pride wasn’t hurt too bad. Love to see more catfishing
Igot one of them solar roof-top pannels on my boat and works great when your not fishing that way it keep it charged all the time but i do have a chager too thank-you for your help....
I have three welders from Harbour Freight. My MIG, TIG, and ARC welders are from there. My torch and braising sets are their's also. All are over 5 years old and I have never had an issue. I get all my welding and torching supplies from them. I have 2 stores within 8 miles of my house and since my brother lives 9 minutes from my favorite fishing saltwater fishing spot I visit him a lot and he has 3 in his area. Soooo I'm almost always in a store somewhere.
Jumper cables.... Amen!! I had to hook up my trolling motor battery to start the boat.. Ever since I have had them in the boat.. I haven't had to use them for me... But I helped a fellow angler out. And as far as I'm concerned, that a perfect reason too.
I got asked "Why are you putting jumpers in the boat?", Same reason I got a tool box and first aid kit, because I learned from having a bad day on the water.
For the money the titanium welders at harbor freight in my opinion are a better deal than a Hobart. I'm a Lincoln guy but when I buy a welder for my garage that's what I'm leaning towards. My engine drive is to much for most home projects. Great video
Bought a Chicago Electric mig welder from H.F. built several trailers and exhaust systems and many other things probably lasted 10years I think I gave 120$ for it, we probably spent 4x that on all the wire we ran through
I've thought about buying a welder from there for years to try and learn but always worried about quality... I'd love to see that video from ya though. Plus it'll be fishing related so win win lol
I like Harbor Freight, the only problem, the nearest one is 20 miserable miles down the mountain here in WNC to and back from there up the mountain. when I do get there , I run around like a kid in the candy aisle
I love Harbor Freight. My wife and son won't let me get near one because I have I develop a bad case of the "I need this" for a lot od the stuff in the store and we don't have the space or the funds for it.
Okay, let's add to the list. Rope. Everyone needs rope. They have all sizes of bungee cords. One of the best things I bought was a solar battery charger. You don't always have an electrical source to charge up a battery on the road. Zip ties of every size. Tool kits, if you don't have one, get one for the boat. If, fo some reason you need one, plenty of tarp. Tarp and fishing - well, bank fishing in the sun can get hot, buy that ope and tarp and with the help of two trees, you got shade. Or something to sit on other than the ground.
He’s absolutely right about the waterproof boxes they are awesome! And they are a third of the price of the name brand ones. And I bought the cheap jumper cables too!
👍👍Harbor Freight is awesome. My son wanted me to teach him to weld but wanted his own so on his birthday (10 years old) Me and him went to harbor freight and got him a Titanium Flux 125 welder and a Titanium stick 225 welder plus a Predator 9000 generator to run them on. They had a Awesome sale going on a the time the Flux 125 was $99 the Stick 225 was $189 and The Generator was $699 . I showed him the basics and told to have at it . But I was really surprised on how good they are and how good he is with them. Is really is a nice little setup . So he just watched this with me and Said yeah he would like to see you do a Welding video. Like always Sir another great video.👍👍👍👍
TA DAY you done did it again sir! We needed more trolling battery this past weekend with all the wind. She was working hard! So a solar panel set up to charge them would have been perfect! Yeaas I know that day time hours fishing. Stay safe, healthy, keep on fishing! Thank you!
Hey I bought one of HF's little Flux 125 flux wire welders and it is fantastic for small light metal welding. Spend a little extra money and get spatter spray and some tip cleaner gel. You won't be sorry.
I used one of them small welders to weld a tongue to a 40 ft mobile home on a 100 ft extension cord on a 15 watt break or my dad had to stand by to flip but I have a little place at Santee now lol
Harbor freight is actually a pretty great store for random stuff. I often go there and find stuff I need that would be double the price at other store's.
I bought the 24" silicone ties (2 per pack), cut them in 6" lengths, and capped the ends with some Temu heat shrink. Perfect length for tying my 2 and 3 piece crappie pole segments together. Enough to do 4 poles in one 24" pack.
Definitely agree about the buckets. I take half inch and inch drill bits and drill holes in the bottom and tie a rope to them and you have a cheap drift sock for those windy days. Drift socks can be pricey for the good ones.
A set of jumper cables work great for wiring up trolling motor batteries. 20' of heavy gauge wire was a lot of money for my boat. I got a set of jumper cables instead and just cut the ends off. They carry more current and are all copper
Thanks for doing the review on Habor freight, you gave me a couple of ideas the some of the items you reviewed. Alway enjoy your videos, keep up the good work.
I've been getting the Bauer brand battery operated tools... So i also got their battery operated heat gun.... But not for heat shrink... I put it in my pack when i go trout fishing... Its nice yo get a wuick warm up / dry off in between catches when the temps are down to freezing!
A couple of years ago I bought a set of those jumper cables. The clamps are barely copper plated steel and they started to rust in my service van. If I was going to put them on my boat, I think I'd douse them with some anti corrosive spray and stick them in a ziplock bag or something. Better would be to just wire a cable from one battery to the other with a battery switch in between. At the end of the video, you asked about the welders. I bought a Titanium multiprocess welder from HF about a year ago and it has worked just fine for the things I've done with it. I've only used the mig function so far (need to learn tig). When I bought it I was a little concerned about the short duty cycle (I think it's 10 or 20%) being a problem but, so far, no issues. I want to do some tig but I just haven't had the time to get after it and practice. It seems like I come up with a little project that would be good to tig, go out in the garage, say F it, and pick up the mig gun because I know I can knock the project out.
From what ive seen and heard Titanium welders from HF are actually pretty good for the money. I seen a review video where they tested a bunch of stick welders and the titanium was a top contender in the fact that its power wasn't a lie, it actually over performed a little bit but there was a lot of the cheap brands that said ya we can do 130 amps but then only put out about 70. I have a friend who has a titanium mig and he uses it with the gasless wire and says it does great. Ive been considering a Titanium or a Vulcan myself.. I just recommend buying a bunch of replacment parts now because any of the horror stories ive heard about HF is when they stop carrying something it becomes impossible to get parts for some things.
Last few fishing related purchases at harbor freight: Keychain tapemeasure ( 2$) anchor rope for kayak anchor (5$) pliers 2$ Not the best quality but decent enough.
I've bought jumper cables at Harbor Freight for my boat to replace the wire that the factory uses to wire your boat with. It's cheaper than buying just the bulk wire and has less resistance than the factory boat wire which means longer better life and your depthfinders will have a clearer picture
FYI, I started using Brady labels (adhesive clothe numbers) like electricians use to number cables for my fishing reels . I'll stick a number corresponding to my line size in a out of the way spot on the reel and won't forget what I have on it.
Great Video, reminded me of some stuff I need, shrink tubes and solder and especially bait rags...instead of using my pant leg, shirt, cap brim or boat carpet.
Thumbs up on the welder. And welding supplies. I've built a bunch of things with my welder from there. All of witch has turned out awesome. A lumber rack for my work van, and a big a$$ bumper on my buddies truck. Both held up to the abuse.
I have most of the HF things you showed except a welder. ~Use HF marine heat shrink tubing for all boat electrical connections. It contains a waterproof glue that melts and totally seals the connection. ~The HF Viking lithium-ion jump starter has saved us several times. It’s compact and more than powerful enough to jump the boat or vehicle battery. ~The HF Viking compact 4amp automatic batter charger goes on every overnight trip to charge battery #3. The built-in boat charger only charges 2 batteries. I took the cover off the charger and silicone sealed all the edges of the cover and any possible openings to make it waterproof. ~I bought a bunch of the waterproof clear tackle boxes on sale but am not totally pleased. There is a gap between the top of the internal dividers and the cover which allows small items, like hooks, sinkers and some baits, to shift between sections.
@@FishinNStuff and subscribed...your fish jokes were funny as heck...keep up the good work...I am gonna check out your other videos...I don't fish but you still have great content
My son has one of those welders that he has built his schooly camper with toy hauler on the back . That jeep looks like a nearsighted tortoise get ready to mate with sneaker when he is loading it will climb right up there . There you go Keith a reason by the welder . My wife is 5ft 8 inch 165lb Chinese lady we stopped at Harbor Freight. When we walk in the person at the door asked if we needed help ." I asked what aisle is the Chineseium was she was running a little low ". That smack on the middle of my back stung for hours . She is so nice that if I teller I'm going fishing she will give me a $20 for bait .I asked why she said it better than me taking $80 out of the ATM .
Nice hacks...yea i did know about harbor freight... Ollies is another one .... Hey do that welder vid....I always wondered about that !!.....stay safe...
Bought a $99 wire welder at Harbor Freight - best hundred bucks I ever spent! I made a kayak rack with it and sand pole fishing stakes too! Good channel, my friend.
I've owned an old 220v Lincoln welder forever, but it's cumbersome to get out, hook up and use. I bought a small "crackerbox" stick welder at Harbor Freight that had some great reviews and I wasn't disappointed. It runs on 110v and doesn't need a 220v dedicated circuit, like my Lincoln. It's tiny (crackerbox size), but does a great job welding as long as you don't try anything too thick. I got it for around $125 dollars.
Cheap welders are hit and miss . But it can be done on 110v . My Miller i use on most of my videos , Is multi voltage, but most of the time I run it on 110v and I've actually burnt completely through 1/4" steel when I welded slow
@@FishinNStuff I recently did some welding on my brother's front end loader with it. The bucket had a 3 inch long crack from the leading (digging) edge towards the back. I ground out a "V" trough on the top and bottom of the crack and then welded both sides with my little crackerbox with nickel steel rods and it's been holding up real well. Right now he's working on a long driveway. He's already done all the excavation with it and is now working on laying the road bed. Lots of digging and spreading with that front end loader!
I’m gonna add one suggestion. “Ball stretch cord set”. I use them to go around my helix to hold the cover secure while trailering. Put the strap Around control head and tied a knot to make the cord shorter. Put cover on and grab the ball and pull over cover. Quick and easy
They do make a fair wire feed welder. Use mine to modify traps, build lock on treestands, all kinds if stuff. Had the same one for 6 years, used regular, haven't had any trouble. So buy one and try it out, I think u will be impressed
Yeah do not forget the yellow glasses because the other glasses you can see in the water they cut out the glare and make everything sharper and you can see 30 feet into water so they yellow glasses for two bucks is a heck of a deal
I just went to harbor freight yesterday and bought 13" tires to build a beach cart for dragging my gold mining equipment on the sand. It will also double and a fishing cart and hauling deer out of the woods. 65 bucks for 4 tires is hard to beat and they seem durable enough.
I shop at harbor freight for everything lol. And did u know they also sell very cheap fish finders I got one on my kayak. And it really works pretty good and it’s very light weight
Have you bought sinkers lately. I just buy a 133 piece HF socket set. I find a 1/4" or 6mm is great for corks. 7/16 is good for pond fishing on bottom. 3/4 and a 10mm holds my line great. But in the river I use 11/16 and 18mm.. unless it's up, then I use the Ratchet. The 1/2 one. That gives me another reason to yell at my son like my old man did to me.... "I said the Ratchet! Give me the damn Ratchet!!!!
Really really really like his videos. I'm a huge harbor freight fan and his videos if show me different ways to use things from there that I never even thought about.
I don't remember if I got them at Harbor Freight, but I have some cable ties with a place on the head of the tie where someone can screw them to a wall to secure wires in place. Secured to the rod next to the handle gives you a place to hook your lure that won't interfere with your line.
I have the titanium 125 easy flux and I love it! This is my first wire welder and I wasn't sure I'd be able to use it but it's awesome for small jobs! I wouldn't weld a truck frame with it but I've used it on my heavy duty trailer a couple times and it definitely gets the job done. The splatter is a bit messy but it cleans up quick and easy. I highly recommend it for DIY projects!
Hey man, thank you very much for all the great ideas. I cannot get enough of your videos. My family enjoys it too with the comedy relief. I can't wait to see more great stuff. Keep it up, no pressure. LOL. Thank you very much!!!!!

Keith, I for one would love to see you do a project with a new welder. We all could learn, how-to! Thx!
Last few fishing related purchases at harbor freight: Keychain tapemeasure ( 2$) anchor rope for kayak anchor (5$) pliers 2$
Not the best quality but decent enough.
As for the jumpers, I can say with confidence that swapping batteries around in a boat while on the water is no fun.
Heck, it’s no fun on land…
Bless You and Yours My Friend!!! I look forward to each of your new videos! And go back and review all your classic posts! Go YOU! Will
I've bought jumper cables at Harbor Freight for my boat to replace the wire that the factory uses to wire your boat with. It's cheaper than buying just the bulk wire and has less resistance than the factory boat wire which means longer better life and your depthfinders will have a clearer picture
Got a bunch of us fisherman standing around harbor freight looking st all items and how we can use it for fishing 😅😂 love it!
FYI, I started using Brady labels (adhesive clothe numbers) like electricians use to number cables for my fishing reels . I'll stick a number corresponding to my line size in a out of the way spot on the reel and won't forget what I have on it.
That's a good idea
I have that same welder you showed from Harbor freight. And it works great. I rebuild my utility trailer with it.
This was another awesome video from my neighbor, and I didn't have to get him out of my pool. Lol
🤣🤣🤣 omg I did something just getting you to comment lol
@@FishinNStuff and subscribed...your fish jokes were funny as heck...keep up the good work...I am gonna check out your other videos...I don't fish but you still have great content
@@sevans66 I really appreciate that . If you check out enough of em you'll see my neighbor on there lol
@@FishinNStuff will do... now I want to go to harbor freight just to buy STUFF
Another AWESOME video✌️✌️love the cheap welder idea, we have used the crap out of ours n it has held up pretty good
My son has one of those welders that he has built his schooly camper with toy hauler on the back .
Great informative video, my friend. Thank you for sharing it.
Bought a $99 wire welder at Harbor Freight - best hundred bucks I ever spent! I made a kayak rack with it and sand pole fishing stakes too! Good channel, my friend.
Thank you
Shrink rap for wire is really nice on the eye of a trailer hook works great
Yep I agree . I've had that on a video before
I've owned an old 220v Lincoln welder forever, but it's cumbersome to get out, hook up and use.
Lots of digging and spreading with that front end loader!
they have jeweler's magnifying headgear for fly tying or small soldering
I’m gonna add one suggestion. “Ball stretch cord set”. I use them to go around my helix to hold the cover secure while trailering. Put the strap Around control head and tied a knot to make the cord shorter. Put cover on and grab the ball and pull over cover. Quick and easy
That's cool . I find a Hack kinda like that on one of my fishing hack videos
I like their powder coat paint for jig heads.
We have built 3 dirt track race car roll cages with harbor freight welder. Works just fine.
They do make a fair wire feed welder. Use mine to modify traps, build lock on treestands, all kinds if stuff. Had the same one for 6 years, used regular, haven't had any trouble. So buy one and try it out, I think u will be impressed
You can get the cordless drill batteries and a charger for like 20-30 bucks as well.
Looks like I will need to make a trip to harbor freight. I need more tackle boxes
I shop at harbor freight for everything lol. And did u know they also sell very cheap fish finders I got one on my kayak. And it really works pretty good and it’s very light weight
That's good to know, thanks for sharing!
@@JacobE-23 I mean it’s no garmin but it gets the job done I bought it on sale for $10
@@oklahomaoutlawfishin9026 damn I didn’t know they had $10 FF’s that’s a deal. I saw they had metal detectors last time I was there!
@@Hashdollars yeah so normally there like $25-30 but u can catch them on sale for $10 every once in awhile
@@oklahomaoutlawfishin9026 I wonder if it would work from the bank ? No kayak rn
Lol
Got me riled up to go to Harbor Freight. Thanks..I guess. 😂 Great tips Keith, we appreciate you brother. 👍👍👌
I’ll go in get side tracked gotta have a mission
I luv Harbor Freight too...there's GREAT deals there all the time and YESSSS I want to see what I e of their welders will do
Really really really like his videos. I'm a huge harbor freight fan and his videos if show me different ways to use things from there that I never even thought about.
Harbor Freight has magnetic strips that holds tools if mounted on a toolbox or wall. I have these on my boat to hold lures, pliers and anything metal.
I don't remember if I got them at Harbor Freight, but I have some cable ties with a place on the head of the tie where someone can screw them to a wall to secure wires in place. Secured to the rod next to the handle gives you a place to hook your lure that won't interfere with your line.
Must be nice to have 5 of the same kind of bait caster fishing poles too Velcro snap them all together. I'm just saying. 😄
The Omnipro 220 is a great welder. I’ve used a lot of different brands and the harbor freight ones I’ve used have done the job just as good.
I’m in harbor freight a few times a month. Love that place! I’d be interested to see how the lower voltage flux welder does for diy stuff!
I tried the Chicago electric wire welder and wasn't impressed. If I were to get another one it would be mig.
Get you one of those welders, I'm interested in one myself & show us if their worth it, that little lure side kick tells some good ones 😂
Hey man, thank you very much for all the great ideas. I cannot get enough of your videos. My family enjoys it too with the comedy relief. I can't wait to see more great stuff. Keep it up, no pressure. LOL. Thank you very much!!!!!
Thank you very much for watching,,,,,, thank your family too
that 125amp titanium welder is awesome. I have had one for 3 years and it really out does the regular flux core welders.
