I've never had back pain before, but I also started feeling some discomfort in my lower back after a period of eating a lot of bacon. Could be a coincidence, but it's processed meat, so in hindsight, it probably wasn't a good idea to eat it as frequently as I did 😅

(The reason is that red meat contains toxins that can damage the kidneys over time. There are different types of red meat, and some are worse for your kidneys than others. For example, processed meats such as bacon, sausage, and ham are the worst for your kidneys because they contain high levels of sodium...)

If you eat a fruit, within 1.5 to three hours’ time, it will be fully digested. If you eat cooked vegetables, it will take twelve to fifteen hours to digest them. If you eat cooked cereals and other foods, it will take twenty-four to thirty hours. If you eat cooked meat, it will take forty-eight to fifty-two hours. If you eat raw meat, it will take seventy-two hours to digest it. When food remains in the system for such long periods of time, it will rot and cause unnecessary levels of bacteria

You’re spot-on about the cancer centers offering ‘treats’ in the waiting area. During my own cancer journey, whenever the hospital did a survey, I’d ask them why they were serving sugar-ladened foods and drinks to the patients and families, knowing that cancer responds to sugar. I started carnivore diet this year January 22nd. I started at 300 lb. I'm currently at 208 lb. I've lowed my blood pressure to almost regular blood pressure. I've lost the brain fog. I've lost all my skin tags. My anxiety has gone away. I'm able to go to the grocery store and not be self-conscious. I'm able to play with my children and it's all cuz of the carnivore community. I also have been fasting eating once a day. I change it up once in a while and have been getting great results. But I'm kind of stuck at 208 so I'm going to start exercising and I'm going to start fasting longer and see what happens. Keep up the great work! You're awesome😊

Me too- her interview with Dr Chafee was incredible. And she looks freakishly young and still works the farm. The old First Nations Elders were like her- ate meat mostly, still hunting and skinning out at moose in their 80’s and nineties. I saw a woman like that, one of the last old time Elders, skinning out a moose well into her 80’s in Old Crow, northern Yukon. That was 22 years ago. No one like that is still living. Maggie also brought to light the plight of the Canadian beef industry. So much political and peer pressure here to favour vegan/vegetarian. Hay is harder to get, went from $100 to $160 a round bale this past year according to my friend, etc etc. So Maggie’s message was if y’all want to keep eating beef, better get out of the comfort zone and stand up for the farmers. So true. Our country isn’t exactly the True North Strong and Free these days. (Quoting the anthem) 🇨🇦🍁

It's cause animals, humans need meat, it is part of our chemistry.
It's easy to digest meat. Humans ate vegetables for roughage, fiber, to help digestion.
Water is also important, it is absolutely important. All these "magic diets" are when people start having problems.
Your body will tell you what you need, it is what taste buds were invented for and why people love fat so much.
It is also why the body gets 'thirsty' when it needs water, to communicate that it needs fueling.

My longest water-only fast was 36 consecutive days. I only found out afterward that I needed to replenish minerals that I was not getting from water, so now, I still water fast every month for 7-14 days but I take my electrolytes almost every day during that fast. It makes a huge difference and does NOT break a water-only fast. The healing benefits are extraordinary. My father died of colon cancer at 57 and I want to do whatever I need to do to not go down that road.

Cancer is not a genetic disease, its a metabolic disease. As long as you're living a carnivore lyfestyle, you will remain healthy, but 14 days a month of fasting. Overtime you will lose strength if you go that extreme. Your body only has so much dead proteins and bodily waste to tighten up. Once you get to a certain point and your body doesnt need much maintenance anymore, it'll slowly waste your muscles away with that amount of fasting, even with hightened growth hormone. Your muscles will only be preserved for so long. I recommend not doing as much as a 7-14 day water fast a month. A 3 day waterfast a month is more than enough to get all the healing benefits from a long term fast. 7-14 days a year would be optimal though .

I’ve only seen 1 short and this video and I’ve subscribed and become a member already. I’ve been researching Carnivore for a few weeks and am convinced it’s the way to go. I’m absolutely miserable and finally ready to change. I’ve tried “healthy eating “before lots of fruits, vegetables, and nothing has worked. I’m excited to start this, but I also know that because of 57 years of unhealthy foods that it’s best for me to ease into it. I started yesterday and have it planned out that after three weeks of easing into it, I should be total carnivore by the beginning of week four. I know there are people that would say just jump into it. I can’t because I have to work all week and I can’t risk getting symptoms of it and missing work. I believe that I’m going about this the right way. I’m so excited that I found your channel, thank you for all you do.

Just about 17 years ago I met my friend who had been diagnosed with lung cancer. She had never been a smoker, and is/was one of the healthiest people I know. The cancer was found by "accident" when a doctor was x-raying another part of her body and saw something in her lung. He wanted to do surgery, chemo and radiation right away. She said "give me 3 months to work on this on my own" and he agreed. She began juicing and fasting, and in 3 months time one tumor was completely gone, and the other had been reduced to a very small size. She agreed to surgery to get rid of the rest of the tumor, but looking back she says she should have just kept going with what she was doing. Today she is once again very healthy.
I watched chemo ravage my mom until she died when I was a teen... how I wish I had known then what I know now. God bless you, and may God bless Jeff.

    • @RV-there-Yet
      @RV-there-Yet 9 місяців тому +5

YES!! You will be SO glad you stopped "flirting" & made the committment😉~ it's way easier than you may think, at least it was for us. Because protein & fat are so truly satisfying, it didn't take long before my husband & I weren't even thinking about other foods. I mean, when you think about it, the meat is always the star of the show right~ & w/this WOE, you get to eat nothing BUT the best of the meal ~all the dang time! It's great, & the benefits are mind blowing, to say the least~ as I'm sure you're already aware, have done the research, etc., but I want to be one more person who encourages you because the reality of life today, versus 2 yrs ago, is like night & day on every level. It truly is like aging in reverse. Again, it's your life & your meat-based WOE, which means it can look however you need it to. For us, it evolved a bit over time as we kept in some low carb veg & some monkfruit/allulose at first. I know some people do better just going full in, but some of us have done it otherwise w/great success~ so my best advice is to make it your own & not get hung up on other people's versions of what it is. You know yourselves & you'll figure out what works best as you go.
Ok, I've rattled on long enough- plz forgive. I just get so excited when I hear of another person- especially a couple- considering it. By far, the best thing we've ever done for ourselves, & the last thing we feel is restricted~ not in the least. It's amazing to wake up feeling this good every day. Best of everything to you & your precious wife~ ~Samantha in AZ

If it's been awhile for me that I haven't extended my fast longer than 24 hours, I just tell myself that I'm not eating until the set time that I've established for myself and I pray for strength and won't give in no matter what. Once I wake up after not eating the previous day, it gets easier. I've found that just eating one large meal a day in the evening is best for me and how I feel. I’ve had so many ailments that have gone, not as many as you or as serious as you but I felt like a walking corpse, If I started at the top of my head to my toes I could count 30 problems I’ve had that’s the ones I knew about, I’ve been on this for 20 days! Nothing could do that medically, I’m trying to spread the news but where I live in wales people are horrified by my discovery, I can’t get hold of fat, all the meat in the supermarkets trim the fat off, however I was encouraged today that my butcher said lots are on carnivore locally.
When I look at your steaks I’m impressed in England they are all less than half that size. Also extremely expensive but I would not swap this feeling for all the money in the world! Just started on my exercise bike, hmmm I’m 67 and had a walking stick last year due to gout. We know what it was really!
Alupurinol tablets in the bin 200mg a day doctor said you are on them for life….. im saving the gov lots of money, medicine here is free, you can have what you want it’s like a sweet shop, but I’m almost off all mine just the codeine to go but that’s massively reduced to 3 a day, I’ve got no pain the addiction,so to conclude, I feel 35, I’m running my skin is perfect…… thankyou. I want to hug you.

I fast for a good 17 hours, since I stop at 3 pm and resume at 8 am. I've done 5 days and longer water fasts, but right now, I'm happy with what I'm doing. Good luck. It was mostly just habit calling. I did lose weight, but not as much as most people might imagine one would. I lost far more when I started carnivore, about five months later. (I was previously a keto yoyo dieter). Love carnivore, wish I'd discovered it sooner.

Hi Kerry! I'm on vacation for a few days but maintaining carnivore. I started carnivore on January 3rd 2024, just a few weeks ago. I'm planning a five day water fast when I get home because I just feel I need a break from food and I have some healing to do. I had already given up sugar, was fasting and IF, and was mostly Keto so I've had no adverse side effects but also no dramatic changes just a few small improvements. I am looking forward to fasting because I always feel good while fasting. My husband is gluten free but he is not remotely interested in becoming carnivore but has a lot of health issues he needs to heal from. He is very supportive of me going carnivore because he knows my reasons for doing so. I am praying he will give it a try. Thank you for all you are doing! God bless you! 😊

Thank you for supporting Jeff on his journey. I was first following you and was inspired by your story when I met Jeff. I am praying for Jeff and am so grateful for his courage and all the research he has done to educate all of us about cancer. Everything he has said is so logical and it is frustrating that the medical profession did not help him,. he has had to do all of the research and experimentation on HIMSELF,
I understand because I was unable to have a child for 6 years and had to do all the research and work by myself. I had the first invitro twins in the US 40 years ago after being told I was NOTa candidate by my 5 specialists in New York. I had to push my way into the first Invitro trials and became pregnant with twins on the first try. But none of my doctors here helped me Just like Jeff and you! I wrote a book called Making Miracles 38 years ago because just Like Jeff there was nothing written to help others on the subject. He is a pioneer and I pray for him to go into remission so that he can continue to live with his family and inspire and teach others about his breakthroughs. May God bless you both. Keep up the great and important work! Nan from Long Island New York

I realized pork was causing me some strange symptoms in my brain like headaches, pulsing/pressure, strange dreams, so I removed all pork and only eat beef and lamb (ruminants) and all of those symptoms went away. I'm guessing it has something to do with monogastric animals passing on whatever they were fed through their meat. I do so well with just high fat beef and lamb and all the pains have gone away that I see no reason to add anything else back in. Eating a lion diet automatically makes you do intermittent fasting since you're satiated for so long. Good luck with your fast and all the best to your friend's healing.
