I was waiting for a Kront run so we could see the Desert Rose in action only for it to be unequipped 😂😭
I think Fear beat radiance partially because of the range, and partially because you had the stuff to get it fully online already when you finally got one worth picking up

19:38 I don't get Alteration Ritual. So for 5 (expert) levels you get 3-4 random lvl 1 blessings (i.e. 3-4 levels worth) that you can't build around because they keep changing?
There is an piece of equipment that allows you to pass through the black flames.
I have not play with it yet, so not sure how that affects boss fights but it provides an interesting change in the game play.
On the topic of the basic enemies not really being a threat, the point of them existing seems to purely be in the game so that on kill effects function. If they didn't throw 3000 skeletons at you between bosses you can't raise your own boneman army or get all the juicy bonus xp from execution.
Glass cannon can be builds can be slowly depleted. Skeles on bosses are awesome idea.

Fear did so much cuz you had it so enemies dying spreads afflictions to others.. so it was spreading like wild fire :D

I would recommend giving merris another try, but change up her passives a bit. Max out Astral Warp, Esoteric Flow, and grab Telekinesis. It gives you ridonkulous +cast damage. Just had a hilarious run where I had a full screen Timefield (Time/Justice blessings) that was just... _deleting_ bosses.
i think you want to build the orc for a dash build (forgot his name). i saw a video of a guy doing darkness 100 runs and he had his basic attack just turned off. the orc has an aoe stomp ability that just does a large aoe every time at the end of a dash. he got like thousands of damage out of that in single hits.
Is this the best Vampire Survivors eske game in the genre atm?
This, Brotato, and Deep Rock Survivor are my favorites.

@@otarthemad1782 those are S-Tier. Nordic Ashes is A-Tier. Silly distinction, but I wouldn't recommend it before those three... Even if I'm playing more of it on my own for fun.
