Sam, you always make me smile and I so identify with the excitement of planning . I am 70 and still get just as excited as I did when I was a young mum. Even my postman smiles when he knocks with a parcel, and he can say"this looks like fabric!' I am sure you are inspiring lots of sewing folk.

I have only just started making clothes after a few years of bag making. I have bought a few fabrics from Legend as they are so reasonably priced that if I make mistakes then I haven't lost too much money. Thanks for your really enjoyable vlogs.

Oh I had the dalmation-type knit in my basket and then I was good and emptied some things out. I do wish I’d got that now because the similar floral jersey knit I kept in the basket was gorgeous! Really soft and great quality. I loved the red Chinese fabric when I was perusing too.
I was thinking a wrap skirt with the cherry blossom but then you said quilted jacket and now I do want you to make that. No need to enter me, my stash is busting 😂

Great vlog as always I think the striped cotton would look great in the Experimental Space Lily Top definitely you could have different ways with the stripe with another pop if colour for the frill. It doesn’t take much fabric you may be able to do your other plan as well ❤❤❤

This vlog was great. It's hard buying fabric online, I like to feel the fabric, so it was good to see you handle the fabric so we could see drape and weight. I have just ordered 3 fabrics from Legend Textiles. X
I enjoy your vlogs so much, I love seeing how your creative mind works. That's an amazing haul you have there and I can't wait to see what you make with it. I have looked at Legend Textiles before, but was put off by the polyester content of many of the fabrics, but it looks like they have expanded their range now. I'm only an hour and a half, or so, from Thetford, so a visit would be possible at some point.
I agree about ponte trousers. I have made 6 pairs over the past few months and absolutely live in them at present. I guess the dresses will come out again when the weather warms up.
I'm still living in my ponte trousers. Hope you get a chance to visit Legend. I think they may have even more in their shop x
Love the large print peony fabric.How about the robe jacket from peppermint magazine .make it longer to a duster length with the neck band in black and add a black cuff .Then you would have the whole print on show not to many seams.

Loving the fabrics from textile legends. Bought 5 jersey stretch the bows being one of them and made 5 naya t shirts and have sewn up brilliantly. Josh is amazing . I messaged him to ask if he was getting anymore of the double quilted fabrics. He messaged me back straight away when he put more up on the website of course I just had to purchase 3 colourways as you do. Making the Paola jacket with the tartan one. Adapting the pattern , deep pockets bias bound and poppers and slightly lengthening it. Never heard of textile legends so thank you so much for the heads up. Absolutely brilliant fabrics and customer service. 🎉🎉
