I so enjoy your vlogs Sam and your passion for colour - I bet your wardrobe is a complete riot of colour. 😀. That harlequin double gauze is amazing. Fab summer dress waiting to happen. 👍
Hi Sam, I must be channeling your thriftiness, I bought a lovely linen dress from Tesco sale in size 20 and I’ve cut a great pair of wide leg trousers from it 🎉🎉
Love your makes! I so agree about the usefulness of the Bertha cardigan. The batwing sleeves make it so easy to slip over garments with big sleeves. I’m about to make my third.
hiya Sam I’ve also got the TATB Make it Simple book 📕 & I’m loving it but the Bertha has been on my list for ages 😂 just need some fabric (but I’ve got my eye 👁️ on some 😁) will have to get it made up 😂 xxx
That blue/green 70s style fabric is lifted straight from the bathroom wallpaper we had in the 70s, so I can confirm it is a genuine 70s design 😂😂😂😂. Don't let me put you off it , I always loved that wallpaper
Hi Sam! You are just incredible with the number of patterns you are able to put together. And each one is so lovely (hmm, well, I reserve comment on the 'hospital gown' 😆😉). I believe I remember you mentioning in one of your videos that you are 5'3"? I am as well and I'd love to get your impressions of the Pietra Pants/Shorts. I made the shorts version, and they are so high waisted on me, they practically come up under my girls! I had to massively readjust the elastic casing in the back, etc. You mentioned the Pietra's today. Did you find the same thing? Did you shorten them and how without interfering with the amazing front features? Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks Sam!
Such beautiful makes you have done very well getting back into sewing after a break 😊😊😊
Loving the Bertha’s and seeing the travertine made up. That turquoise rib scuba will look fab!! 😊

Great vlog Sam. Love the darts in the trousers ❤
Thanks Julie

Thank you. Its what keeps me mentally healthy.

Thank you so much xx

Thank you for your lovely comment. I am 5ft 2 I am about to make the pietra pants and will share all about my adjustments once they're done.
@@sequingirlie Thank you, looking forward to it!
Your deep stash fabric could still be cotton sateen. I have a lovely John Kaldor cotton sateen, and it has no stretch at all.
Thank you so much xx
Gah, have also just ordered something from the fabric beehive, totally enabled by you as I’d never heard of them before! 🫣😂
