I just bought one of these to get me through Covid-19. Can’t wait for it to arrive
Me too lol
I have a Juno DS-88 synthesizer at home but I'm forced to move out because of Covid-19 and I cant bring my synthesizer(too many bags). So now I'm getting one of these as a sub.
That's what I'm trying to do!
I was just thinking the same thing to start learning how to play the piano. I think it is a good value for the money.
Me too..just arrived today
Thanks for the time invested in this video!
I have a WK-225!❤
Casio was my very first instrument and how I got started, way back before I (or they?) had even heard of that thing called Midi, which that keyboard did not have.
Man, you've come a long way since!
Casio finally get back to what they are good at - cheap but good sounding portable keyboards. The spirit of MT40 etc lives on!!
butteo ah yes...the famous riddim machine!
Butteo, you have your events ALL mixed up.
@@a.barnard3205 wut u mean
@@joeblow593 Right!! That Sleng Teng theng... my first keyboard...
They are good in Calculators not Keyboards
For only $175 I'm quite impressed. Seems a killer little keyboard for that price!
I GOT MINE YESTERDAY AND I LOVE THE QUALITY THE SOUNDS EVERYTHING! THANK YOU CASIO!
GREAT!!! Enjoy!!
We bought one a year ago and honestly it just intimidated and overwhelmed us. No idea how to even begin using it, lol. I'm hoping videos like yours will help.
No problem, thanks for getting back to so quickly. I'm going to check out all 4 models when they hit the stores in Jacksonville FL.
Thanks again.
Came here for a good look at this model. Im so happy with it that i am ordering it now! My daughter has been wanting to learn, and i think we could both use it for many reasons. For fun, and i know she also wants to do it for singing. Thank you for the video!!!!
I think the cat 700 keyboard is just absolutely fantastic piece of kit, I have just recently received mine 2 days ago, and absolutely love the voices and rhythms that’s built it. I really like how the keys feel and the clear crisp sound. I got mine from eBay brand new 2 days ago I paid £199 and money well spent. I have just got a sound bar so I’ll be connectig it to the ctg.
Casio has really raised the bar with the new CT-X I can't wait to get my hands on one. The days of calling Casio Keyboards a Toy are OVER !!!!! Go Casio 😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃😃🎹
I was CT-670 before the CT-670 was cool.

Do you really think Casio ctx 700 is better than Yamaha psr e363 !!!!! Lol.....it can't be
@@kaushiksarkar4073 I bought e363 but I read that X700 sound is better. Have I made a wrong choice?
@@nguyenhungdieu1010 I mean, it depends. Casio CTX sounds are somewhat better, but I think yamaha has better rhythms. Casio makes to many ethnic styles that are not really usable.
@@nguyenhungdieu1010 for me, the piano, electric piano sounds and organs are better on CT-X700/800 than PSR-E363.
The saxophone and flute sounds are better on PSR-E363.
In rhythm section, I can't help, but the Casio model has a lot of ethnic rhytms. I don't use any of them, so, It's memory space not usable for expansion.
If you think on using both sounds and rhythms, keep your PSR-E363. If you prefer piano and electric piano sounds, go for CT-X.
Thank you, Casio! The miracles still haven't ceased, huh? Beautiful keyboard, and it's quite impressive what they're offering for an affordable, entry-level instrument. It's not surprising, though, as the XW-P1 is also a great example of Casio offering an affordable instrument with lots of options (and here's hoping that they'll do more in the synth market in the near future!).
So can this keyboard record a layer, play it back and allow me to add other layers to the song by playing back the initial layer?
Just got this two months back. It's great to learn. It's a good quality product with a price more than worth.
Love it just got mine today. It is an Upgrade from the first keyboard I purchased a main street music model. This Casio ct x700 sounds amazing.I"m a beginner and I couldn't be happier to learn on this- CASIO CT-X.700
where did you get it from?
I’m so excited mine arrived today...hubby got it for mr for my birthday present from Amazon.....I dabbled on it a bit and it’s spectacular and the sound is magnificent so thanks for your video!! YOU SO ROCK,,
JOAN SMITH
I have the ctx800. And I tell you even the general midi piano is amazing. I been rocking with Casio for years and years and it’s so dope that they have a board that has acoustic sounds that so professional. I bought my 800 as a bundle set during Black Friday. One these best purchases. It has a standard practice body but the sound tho!! It’s like having 3k keyboard!!
Make more videos from this keyboard please!
This keyboard is fantástico!Great sounds.Congratulations Casio!
Es increíble lo que está haciendo Casio..! Ofrecer teclados con una calidad de sonidos que solo encuentras en teclados de otras marcas que cuatriplican su precio!! Bravo ! Hay que felicitar a Casio. Por fin está siendo competitiva. Y al mejor precio...
Casio ct x USB music?
You look like a quality UA-camr/reviewer, glad my Casio is in this channel, i just got the Casio from a "surprise" from my parents lol
Damn, I wish my parents are fond of surprising.
Holy s--t. These sounds are..... in a word.... impressive. Nice job, Mike and Casio!
chriscauldermusic thank you! Wait until you hear the CT-X3000 and CT-X5000
Thank you Casio.. its always nice to have an affordable instrument that can give/offer great sounds and features. i have the px5s for 3 years already and didnt disappoint me.. also im planning to get an mzx-500 soon..
What im dreaming of is a casio rack module, with hexlayer and synth analog sounds.. coz some musicians dont have space anymore in their room/studio..
Thanks..
Save your money, as concerns an MZX-500 purchase, because THAT keyboard was over-hyped and under-performing, not to mention the fact that it was released only "halfway done"- A mistake that also was done by ALESIS in 2005 with their FUSION Workstations.
As a result of THAT fiasco, ALESIS sticks with only drum machines and electronic drum kits.
Hey CASIO! I bought CT-X700 just today! And when I was a child I remembered that there was a keyboard with a cheap sound of CASIO at home. I feel like a sentimental. But it is exciting at the same time.
Saito san, is the manual only in Japanese? Or is it a multilingual manual!
the sound of this casio is so good.
Just ordered one of these based off your video. Thanks for the demo!
I am keybordist in a rock band and I use a MOXF8 and Krome Ex both are amazing but the last sunday I went to SEARS and I was playing this CASIO...really has amazing sounds...THE ORGAN SOUNDS are Beautiful....Amazing for this little machine...I really wish one of those
That has an amazing pro sound. Very impressive !!
Wow these came a LONG way!!! Very nice
I quite remember when I used to play live band and me being the keyboardist. Anything my colleagues saw me coming with Casio keyboard then they started laughing calling me names such as Mr. toy keyboardist etc.Thank God those days are long gone. Now Casio is in the game.Lol
I’m going to purchase this on Friday and I could not be more excited.
after 11 months using it, how was it ?
Love the sound quality. Sounds really good and the volume can go up and down so it’s not overbearing. Easy to play for me, perfect addition to my room.
@@Hannahgraceartwork i'll definitely get one then, thnx for the reply !
I want one, pleaseeeee!!! This Ctx it´s awesome and incredible!!! Go Casio!
I just buy this one...it's so cool to have this ,I learn during pandemic👍
Wow it does have so great sounds.
Robert Sampson and is very economic, 175 dollars, it’s a really good price, but I hope it’s available for sale in Mexico. Kind regards.
That sounds really good actually!
God i love this piano. I will order it in a week. Thanks for the review.
I got one delivered today from Amazon
It's ok my kids are enjoying a lot the variety of musical sounds with little effort just learning to play themselves
I just bought the CT-X800 (I was originally planning to buy the ctk-3500 but they told me at casio that they don't manufacture these anymore and so I had to go with a casio ctx700 instead, unfortunately they didn't have the stock for it so I had to buy the ct-x800 which luckily for me was only about $23 more-expensive (technically the ct-x700 where I bought the ctx800 was just overpriced.) so luckily I got the ct-x800 instead and I'm currently happy with it.
We bought it at a store and they tested it out, worked perfectly, blah blah blah, then I took it home and I opened it very-carefully and for some reason the highest D key was popped up, like it wasn't properly seated, currently I still have this keyboard with the broken key and fortunately the guys who distribute casio were quick to respond and were going to order a brand new one that should be fixed and I should be able to replace this one with the popped up key.
Now besides that, I love the sound of this thing, it's loud and booming and the audio coming out of it is crisp, the new AiX engine is so much of a big step ahead over the older sound engines and for the price, it's amazing.
But I would argue that this isn't as good as the CDP line or any of those larger 88-key digital pianos that cost way more, many people say this but I would argue that it isn't, sure it's ways ahead of it's older 61-key bretheren but the samples to me aren't as good as what most people tell them to be, but they still sound amazing nonetheless.
And having the USB to HOST and USB to DEVICE ports is so good! I'm so excited to finally get into playing the piano again, it's been nearly over 9 or 10 years since I was a little kid and when I had a yamaha keyboard, it broke the same year and I never got the opportunity to buy a new keyboard again until now, I'm very happy that these new keyboards came out and I'm very-satisfied indeed. Thanks Casio.
I'm a guitarist....just got one of these today and can't stop playing it, spending hours like minutes 🤘🔥💯. Great keyboard for beginners and intermediate players!
How's it Bro?
@@Here_Comes_the_sun8855 it's really up to the mark! The Aix sounds are great!
such a high qaulity perfectly informed video, thank you
Fantastic sampling!
I got this keyboard, and It's fun to play the drums on it, I'm pretty good at playing the drums on this keyboard, and it's fun it's also awesome that it has a midi port to connect to other DAW softwares to customize a lot of things of your preference
This maybe my Christmas gift to me
Very cool Keyboard, sounds fantastic!!!!!!
I also have one of these (in fact, ctx800), and it really sounds amazing! I don't even mention the price. For this price, you can't go wrong..
Not for nothing, but these CTX machines are going to slaughter the portable keyboard market with its brilliant, professional sound. How long till the x5000 comes out? Keep bringing us these little demos in the coming weeks cause we are all foaming at the mouth to get one and need a demo fix here and there, lol !
The CT-X5000 will be out in May. Thanks!
And will I ever be able to use the 5000 to my complete, musical advantage!
Here's something that I did, back in the day, with the now classic CT-670!
soundcloud.com/skyy38/one-paw-main-theme
I've one of them, thruthly it's just fantastic
I got mine today,it is awesome! Thanks Casio
Thank you!
I see these being extra interesting for guitar players like myself, for creating my own music. I will never gig with this as I play guitar but I do need good tones when recording demos! This seems to fit the bil big time! I only want to know if I can create my own arpeggios or are they all presents that cant be changed? Also ill it be ok to record from Phones/Line out into my audio interface? Thanks a bunch!
Nice demo, Mike! So is it safe to say the CTX series will replace the CTK series, and perhaps the WK line, also?
Good job Casio!!! First the MZ-X line and then the CT-X line. Now what's next? MT-X line or maybe CZ-X? I hope that someday it will happen, it would be great! Keep it up Casio!!!
xPipexNaxhox1985 Casio should make a CT-X keyboard with drawbars on it. Casio does make good keyboards for the price.
Among the first, the Legendary MZ2000 followed by it's "Kid Sister" the WK-1350.
ua-cam.com/video/nFaA6rkcHbI/v-deo.html
How about the CTK-X?
can i question if you record track 1 and 2 it canbe play in one?
Hi Mike I have just brought this keyboard I'm Learning can you tell me I'm Trying to split when I press Split it won't let me type in another tone ,I must have pressed something can you help thank you
Start saving money just to buy this keyboard as a gift to myself.. really have to work hard.. 😅🙏
How do you sustain the notes? Sutain pedal?
If so, what sustain pedal is appropriate for Casio CT-X700??? I need help please.
That clavinet's bass rhythm sounded exactly like I'd expect an 80s Casio toy to sound. But some of those other sounds are STUNNING.
The clarinet has multiple pickup positions and key-off noises. These are right off our PX-5S - it would be a challenge to find anything more authentic.
The Clavinet is an electrically amplified clavichord. Did you mean to say Clavinet? Or Clarinet? I didn't hear a Clarinet noise but I'd love to hear one.
But seriously. I gave it a second listen and I actually like it today. I'll blame the headphones I was wearing last night.
Uh-Oh, I hope that clarinet is in "AiX" form and not "MXi."
Is there a way to sustain sounds without using an additional pedal? I viewed many videos online for other types of Casio keyboards, but their methods didn't work, and I have the CT-X700 keyboard.
Does this have a balanced out...or any kind of out that can go to the mixing/PA board?
hi, how's the french horn playing the keyboard?
So I'm confused. There's a piano/organ button. But also organ options within the categories for the piano? Is this 2 ways to reach the same pre sets?
My sustain pedal is working like a one and off switch. How do I get it to work as a normal sustain pedal?
Im sorry sir, but how do you change the sound of the piano like the Mellow Grand one
Which type of headphones can I use for Casio ct x700?
It's that a CASIO CT??!! Awesome sound, at last!
CT.....X.....
May I know how to set the display contrast in Casio CT X 700 keyboard how to set that
I love Casio keyboard. I have ever used CTK 6000, 7000, MZ X300. I wish I had CTX 5000.
I already own a ctx 700 but I want to know which pedal you use for it/pedal that's suites this the best
The Casio CT-X5000 (The top keyboard of the new CT-X line) have an impresionant sound. Better than the Yamaha portable keyboards at the similar price. In fact, it's the first time in years that Casio has surprised me with their keyboards. I had been enthusiastic about the Casio MZ-X500, but I realized that it had sounds quite similar to my old Casio CTK-5000 from 2008, but with these new sounds in this CT-X line you can tell the difference. In fact, for me, the keyboards of the new CT-X line sound like expensive keyboards. It was time for Casio to renew their sounds from 15 years ago to more professional and realistic ones, despite being portable, intermediate and not so expensive keyboards.
Good job Casio!!!
GatoNegro2473, NOPE
Kimberly Young No what?
Does the sound quality same in both ctx 700 & ctx 5000?? I am more on to sound quality than of extra features..
What stand would you use to hold this up
Which keyboard is better for classical piano music, the Yamaha P45, or the Casio SA-46. Please help!!!
Sir what audio interface should i buy to record the ctx 700 sounds
What genres did you play in demonstrations?
Hi. I'd like to know if it's possible to layer 2 pianos with one an octave lower than the other. Like this, playing one note will trigger octave sounds. Is it possible with the CT-X700? Thanks in advance
Thanks for your vids, Im' hesitating between this one and the Yamaha PSR E363, which one to choose pleaaaaase ? :( For someone learning piano.
How can I switch reverb, this same piano but how do I switch Reverb.
Anyone knows whether it has full size keys or not(meaning the size of the keys is the same size as a real piano key)?
I just bought one for my niece today as she is learning harmonium but for a louder sound do i have to use a amplifier
When can we see a review from ct x5000?
Do you have key sound problem? I mean when i push the some Keys, i hear 'friction'? 'rubbing' sound.
When i recording video, its really hearing badly.
Im recording sound with fl studio and combine video with camtasia because of this problem.
My english is bad for now, sorry :)
I want to get this one. It's cheap, but good quality. I'm not a professional keyboardist. .. just in free time or to make covers I like to play the keyboard. Do u recommend it? Does it have the transpose function?
Does it have USB enter to use it as a controlor?
Beautiful Sounds 😎
are those weighted keys and touch sensitive?
Is there anyway to sustain notes without using a pedal???
is it safe to order in amazon
is there a built in sustain button for this?
Awesome.. But the sound is through output right.. How is the inbuilt speakers. I hope they don't sound cheap?
Does it also work with a 220 outlet?!
When will it be available online?
I love CASIO. I do have CASIO Privia PX-3 and CASIO CZ-101.
I have a 1550 but want to upgrade....what abpout 700 or 800 ?
Well after this video, I guess I am getting myself a new keyboard.
I want Casio to revive the old Casiotone toys! Will there be any keyboards with those cheesy synth toy sounds and lofi samples?
I will be getting mine delivered tomorrow through Amazon😊😍
I get mine in two days :)
Chinmayi how's the experience? I'll buy if it's good
Are you two satisfied?
It is great
Today i am bying this one.
Is there a such thing as a cheap keyboard with weighted keys ?? Or is that a feature for only more expensive keyboards ?
Excellent keyboard. Better than my WK-220 by a LOT!
ULTRA GREAT DEMO !!!
now i want to use a Casio not for counting in math
When I connect earphone in Ctx 700 i don't hear any sound in earphone please revert.
Not too bad for that price - impressed, and it's real hard to impress me.
Please help me.. how to record using phone or pc.. what are the things i need to do it?? Thanks in Advance.. 👍👍👍
Whats are major differences between ctx700 and ctx870in
