@Flat6Motorsports Great video, but I noticed you are using same dyno plot for tubi style straight pipe and Soul Performance valved system in the video and your website ( peak numbers are different but plot is same ). I just would like to know which one is correct. I want the loudest without the power dip 4700 😅. Currently leaning towards ipe iPE Performance. But also wanting to consider tubi.
Sorry about that, it looks like the template we used didn't refresh the background, updated dyno here: flat6motorsports.com/products/tubi-style-straight-pipe-central-muffler-992-turbo-carrera
I have a 992 Targa with PSE. In the video, you mentioned that it had a v8 sound. The PSE borders on being a scam in terms of how it sounds. I’m looking for something comparable to or slightly louder than the PSE on a 991.1. Most importantly, I want it to still sound like a 911. Which exhaust do you recommend? Thanks a lot for your help. Great videos
I should add that this is my daily driver and while I don’t want an overly loud exhaust that will make my neighbors hate me, when you call this one a bit juvenile, it does make it a bit more tempting but I want to make sure it still really sounds like a 911
@@Flat6Motorsportsthanks. Is that because the Tubi doesn’t give you the singing 911 engine sound or because of volume because I don’t mind pushing it loud, just not too loud. Which is louder Kline or Soul? Def want some volume.
@flat6motorsports how would you compare this to the ipe titanium? Does tubi style sound more refined and cleaner yet louder? Where ipe may sound raspier? Which exhaust would you say produces more of the classic 911 flat 6 wail? JCR?
The Tubi is a bit more raw/choppy sounding. In a small way, maybe more akin to a V8 depth sound on a relative basis. The iPE produces more a classic sound in our opinion.
Word to the wise be careful with IPE and IPE exhausts they do not honor warranty issues and routinely deny claims when you have problems. They are misleading in telling consumers that if there is a problem with one of their exhausts systems, they will replace them. This is not true on any level and even when two reputable companies, Wheels Boutique and Champion Motor Sports, told them their titanium exhaust installed on my car was defective...and sent them video's, they still refuse to take responsibility and replace the damaged/defective system. This is a very poor business model and they do not protect consumers. IPE also does not return phone calls or emails and takes weeks and weeks to not address your problem.
Does this car have the PSE? I am ordering a car and trying to figure out of I need the PSE in order to close the valves or if that can be accomplished by choosing normal driving mode instead of sport. Thanks for your help.
I wonder if there's an aftermarket exhaust that can give aTT 992.2 the sound of an naturally aspirated engine exhaust.... Helping the car Heather m Heather k breathe even better.. Loud exhausted ARE juvenile.... For that wannabe road racers with no in track competition experience.. They're getting laughed at by the beautiful women with a brain.
rowdy is what a flat six needs
Absolutely loving your content at the moment!!!!
Can you do catless pipes ( fab speed, Soul with stock exhaust please
Tubi has both a catless and catted link pipe. The catless is $1800.00. The catted is $4500.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please test with soul cats!!

Oooohh this one is the best setup for the 992! How much hp gain on dyno?
Would love to see this with M tune on a base 992.

pretty similar with the valves opened. @@M3-Titan
Jon, does it drone compared to the stock PSE?
Also, is it considerably louder inside the cabin too?
Drone is similar to stock but just louder/more persistent
Great channel.

Great review! Is it compatible with European OPF?
I don't believe so, they might have an Euro OPF version

This car does but you don't need PSE. It can be coded into the car or you can use a Cargraphic Valve Controller.
M Tune and Catless pipe , PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!
Great video thx. Is this compatible with non-PSE 992 Carrera?
Yes, it will!
@@Flat6Motorsports how do the valves work with a non-PSE car?
@@jeromey194 without a tune or valve controller, they open in sport mode. PSE can also be codded into the car with the Porsche PIWIS tool.
So this won’t work with a base 992, correct?
Yes, it will work with the base model
What exhaust would you say is less "juvenile" for the 992 4S?
Probably the Kline Valved or Soul Valved.
This video was with Stock Cats ?
Yes
How noise inside, do you measure the db inside the cabin of the car
We actually did attempt but the tires make more noise so there weren't any deltas in db readings.
What wheels are these?
BC Forged RZ05
does this work with stock setup/cats?
Yes, sounds you hear on this video are with the stock cats.
