I love the fact that akrapovic kept the adaptability of the 992. That as in cruising being a tame sound while in sport mode at high rpm becoming a beast. Really good mod.
Bought mine in 2020 when I bought my 2020 992 C2S. I drive my Porsche daily and enjoy it everyday !!! Did put on the high flow Fabspeed 200 cell cats and the car has a nice growl now.
The Cold start is pretty Loud. Then in about 30 seconds the valves close and the RPM's come down, and it then just has the low pitch muscle car growl, until you punch it, as which time the valves open and its pretty impressive! If your looking for quite this is not your set up. I'd get the Akro exhaust and leave the factory cats in. Then on the other side we actually straight piped it by passing the cats and the sound is ear piercing loud and nasty. I found the 200 cell cat and Akro to be the best of the 3 versions. Hope that helps.
Your testimony alone has me sold. Not to mention your actual numbers. 2.8 sec to 60 with a quarter mile time of 10.6 is insane. Faster than my 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus.
Good morning, how long did it take you to remove the old ones and install the new ones? Is it possible to have it ready on the same day? I want to take my Audi to have an Akrapovik exhaust system fitted, but I don't want to leave my car with them.
Are the burbles on downshifts from the exhaust, or are they programmed by the tune? That sounds nice, the 992 didn't have as much pops on decel as the 991.2 did. I wish the 992 sounded like that. Thx!
I honestly can't be bothered for spend between $2,000-8000 on an exhaust. I almost went with a SOUL Performance kit (the owner John Gaydos is a genuinely amazing guy who I fully support and recommend). Ever since I worked with Fister Motorsports to remove resonators and add a muffler bypass there's just nothing better. Stock exhaust retaining the good valves that don't rattle, $500 at the muffler shop and you have an amazing sounding exhaust that passes Cali smog. Take the money you saved and pay someone to polish your paint then take it home and put your own ceramic on and you've done a whole lot more and still sound amazing for half the price you were going to spend anyways.

Did that do anything to the warranty?
Nope! Anything after the turbo chargers does not nullify your warranty.
How was the cold start with the fab speed and the Ak exhaust

Amazing video, thanks!
Oh wow this exhaust + your tune on the Carrera T Manuel would be nice 👍.

Awesome 👌
That sounds great
Is that Gentian Blue Metallic or Night Blue Metallic?
Gentian Blue
any droning at highway speeds with valve closed/normal driving mode?
No drone, some slight resonance but very comfortable.
Are you comparing the Akra to upgraded PSE?
We try to draw the comparison to the stock PSE system.
Does your car rev up to the redline at 4:43 ? I thought that Porsches got rev limiter at around 4k rpm.
Yes, the car has an M-Engineering tune on it which allows the option to rev freely in neutral.
@@Flat6Motorsportsis stock m. Engineering tune ready for Indonesian market??
@@diaralfa4075 Yes, shouldn't be an issue
I've always bought Akrapovic.. never seen the welds lol that bad
