You cannot compare other people's testimony. wth.
Answer this, if their Father abused them, and they killed him, that's one thing,
      but why kill their Mother???
      She didn't abuse them!
These guys wanted money, that's why the mother died & the Father too.
They were old enough to move out and deal with things differently IF their story is true.

I think to them, jail is still better than being sexually assaulted by their father & living with a mentally ill mother.
Many have commented oh how they cried on the 911 call. I would say they are shocked at what had happened. All Lyle wanted to do was to stop the sexual assault on Eric who must be feeling so overwhelmed with Lyle going away. At 18 Eric would be totally stressed with the rape by his father. May Jose burn in hell.

I never bothered to really delve into the Menendez case. I always (incorrectly) assumed they were just spoiled rich kids who snuffed their parents for money. Now I see this and I see the hurt in their eyes. That's hard to fake convincingly. Lyle takes deep breaths before he answers upsetting questions, and not because he needs a second to think of the answers, but because he's trying not to break down. I do that, too, when I'm trying not to cry before I start talking. Who can blame them for being happy when their "parents" were gone?

They’re not cold-blooded killers who murdered for money! That’s the most stupid thing I’ve heard! Just watching them on the stand shows they’re telling the truth. Many witnesses testified about how the crazy parents were. So how did the judge and jury miss this??? Did they have polygraphs back then? It seems like so many people were against them-what a shame. As if they hadn’t already been through enough hell. Their father had threatened to kill them, and they knew he always followed through on his word. No matter where they went, he would find them and they were only 18 and 21. Come on? Where is your common sense?? - Set them free!! I found Bozanich’s examination despicable and objectionable. I understand prosecution needs to investigate carefully, but her questioning was spiteful. For her, Lyle was guilty before being proven guilty. She already had him in the torture chamber. How Weisberg allowed this sickens me. If this is what a lawyer is meant to be like, I have total contempt for the legal profession.

I agree. I don't think Pam or Kuriyama were professional and tried to degrade them in their cross exams. They should watch this trial back and feel ashamed, but Pam seems to be exactly the same.

Watching the truth panel assist to disseminate their testimonies; and I believe they a mostly telling the truth. Maybe not about being in eminent danger, but definitely needed to do something to stop the r**e of Erik. Living with SA abuse, bullying, and a crazy mother, for years and years, is reason enough to cause tremendous fear and anger; which understandably resulted in a climactic reaction.

Since there 19:24 and so on Lyle's face lights up som any times, when he talks about his brother Eric and immediately fades of as Jose's name being mentioned. Lyle just was so happy to see his little brother trying to be engaged in the dialogue and be present with the whole family just to be beaten down for no reason whatsoever. I am so furious, I can't watch this tapes without xanax, lord have mercy and let this people be finally released.
I know that the brothers have said many times that they love their parent, but eyes don't lie. Look at them...

I regret what I said Free these Guys. The Sexual Abuse Was True, I've seen the whole Trial. They Showed Naked Pictures of them when they were kids. It's shows everything they said was true. Even in the Therapists Tapes They talked about the abuse so it wasn't made up. I've feel like it was an act of Self defense and they should of been Acuited of all Charges Because of Self Defense. This is a Sad Story.

just curious - way before the murder - why did they Burglarize homes? they were rich. so what was their motive? and why did Lyle did so poorly in Princeton College? and did Erik ever get to attend college? or was too late by then and was in jail? or couldnt he graduate from prison, just like Lyle did?

His burglaries are a response to trauma. Trying to take some control of his life. Not healthy, but it’s a way of dealing with the horrors of his life. Dr Burgess touches on this in her stunning testimony.

Nope. She never protected Erik who was sexually assaulted 12 years. She knew it all his live and covered her husband. Erik didn't know that she knew it. Lyle had the same experience when he was small and said mother that father molesting him. Mother was against them, on the father's side.
