The awesome thing is that we'll have seen Wonder Woman, Justice League and Suicide Squad before we see THE Batman in his first solo movie. So much joy. :,)
John keeps talking about he likes that the DC Universe seperates its television and movie universes because that means the TV Universe can do whatever they want, however that's not true. The TV Universe is STILL affected by the movies. It's why Arrow had to kill off their version of the Suicide Squad because the movie was coming out. They had plans to develop the Suicide Squad on Arrow. They even had a voice cameo of Harley Quinn. It's why there's never been a solo Batman television series, because they won't let them because of the movies, so instead we got Arrow and Gotham. It's also why we have yet to see Superman on television, instead we get things like Smallville and even on Supergirl the Superman character hasn't shown up yet, only in like shadow form or emails and such, which is ridiculous considering how much he's referenced.
My problem with Iron Man 3 isn't even the bait and switch. I thought that was clever and funny. I don't buy having The Rock playing Black Adam and Shazam. The only movie that has worked for me where 2 main characters are played by the same person is Adaptation. Otherwise, it has felt like a stupid gimmick for me. It's tied for 3-D for all time dumb gimmicks IMO. But oh well it's not in any of our hands.
Iron Man 2 was a disappointment, Iron Man 3 was not much better. If this was a DC movie, the critics would have ripped them apart about the plot and some of the action scenes. It is what it is and until DC can come up with a few well-received critic reviewed movies by other directors they will get the benefit of the doubt too. Still, great show guys keep it up. BvS wasn't as bad as the critics said it was, most of the action scenes should have outweighed the plot holes and bad editing though. note: Rt score Iron Man 2 was 72%, 72% and Iron Man 3 was 79% and 79%. Makes you wonder....
Kaman da And difference being with Ant-Man was Edgar Wright putting it off. Then they decided to go their separate ways and they still got the film out. That fact that their doubting this movie after all that is hilarious.
The ending of Iron Man 3 was awful. Tony struggled the whole movie without a fully functional suit then at the end turns out he could have 50 suits if he wanted. Tony has court in Iron Man 2 but Pepper killed the villain of Iron Man 1 & 3.. where is her court date? Then after a year of hate for the villain twist in Iron Man 3 Marvel ret-cons it by making a One Shot. I didn't know you could keep the President hostage IN an Iron Patriot suit. The villain motivation is that of a scorned middle school girl that The Incredibles did better.

Hell they didn't even get the Superman death right lol, i watched Jurassic park and i regretted paying to see it but in BVS i was so freaking bored that i almost fel sleep, man that editing was a disaster... Suicide Squad: Robert mentioned they don't know who they're fighting - in every trailer so far we've never seen Enchantress as part of the core group. I've pretty much assumed that it will be her as the main villain. I know they're playing up Joker in this trailer as the big bad.. yet in the subway scene in an earlier trailer with the tentacle thing, and also the creatures they are fighting in this trailer seems to hint at more of a supernatural or mystical foe.
Iron Man 3 was fantastic. I understand why fans may have a problem with the Mandarin, but I thought the twist in the film was pretty damn inspired. How often do you see a superhero fan with such a huge twist that you don't see coming and doesn't get spoiled by trailers or whatever. The film also has that interesting selling-of-a-terrorist-to-America elements, which was more social commentary than you'd expect from a Marvel movie.
Gerald Herrmann Well Inhumans are in the TV part of the MCU, but they're dealing with Nuhumans and Secret Warriors they haven't touched upon anything for the Royal Family, specifically because of the film. The movie people might not always be in the know with what's going on the TV shows but the TV shows know what's going on for the films.

Also another question is if they are introducing Dr. Jason Woodrue because I know he was introduced in the horrible Batman vs. Robin portrayed by John Glover who voiced The Riddler in Batman The Animated Series/New Adventures of Batman as well as playing Lionel Luthor in Smallville.

Jarella! Not Juniper, darn it: Princess Jarella! And not the Hulk's "girlfriend," but the wife of Bruce-Banner-in-Hulk's-body. (She just declared him her husband; apparently she had the authority to do that.) She was equally accepting of Hulk's personality and Banner's body; she represented true love and official acceptance of the whole character on every level possible, and definitely was not a "girlfriend of the week" type.

For the producers and company at WB expected this film to hit the 1 billion mark, it's close but the numbers are going down faster than they expected. They are disappointed by the film.

I left Iron Man 3 more disappointed than when I left Iron Man 2 and Batman v Superman. Let that sink it. And while we're on the topic, Iron Man 2 gets better with time and more viewings.
Iron Man 3 and the Tony assaulting the enemies without his suit is important because it answers Cap's question: "Without your suit, what are you?" He shows us his specialty is intelligence and resourcefulness.

I don't think that AoS in any way stands a barrier to the Royal Family being put to screen. Remember, Attilan is probably not even on the Earth. Whatever Inhumans live on Earth, even as old as Hive - they probably have no idea where exactly have they come from. They are offspring, forgotten and all by themselves. Same goes the other way. Even the way terrigenesis looks - it's all about genetic manipulation. The Royal Family can legit do it differently because although they all share some inhuman gene - they are on a very different level of evolution.
Also, imagine the score & money that BvS would've get if it had opened on the same opening weekend. I mean, as much as I like BvS (kinda), the DCverse would be dead
I'm in the minority but I love Iron Man 3. I love that it is a Tony Stark story first and foremost. It's Tony Stark back to the wall relying on his brain while overcoming his PTSD. And I love it.
Actually your not in the minority most people loved it. Only diehard comicbook heads hate it an the only complaint is the mandorine twist. Me personally its in my top 5 superhero movies.
On first viewing I was kind of let down with the whole mandarin twist (I know I sound so cliche right now) but upon further viewings of the film I have grown to absolutely love it.
+Eric Prajogo I enjoyed IM3 for the same reasons you did. It was a Tony Stark film, not an IM film. I also understand why the Mandarin "fake" upsets some as well, so I can't say I loved it either. It presently ranks as #8 on my favorite MCU movies while IM2 ranks dead last on that list.

The song 'You don't own me' and the cutting directly to Harley makes sense to me. (note: I completely understand why Wonder Woman would be depicted in Hoodies and Jeans) Iron Man 3 had a version of the Hall of Armour, I was happy. All for seeing Blackbolt in some capacity, selectively mute while one utterance can destroy cities, a stammerer knows. I may be casual to alot of Marvel and DC but it portrays a better world.
Agents of Shield is not ruining Inhumans. What Kevin Feige planning for the Inhumans movie is far from the story arc Agents of Shield is doing with the Inhumans characters. Agents of Shield is about the secert Worriors (or atlest that's where this season is headed) but movie is going to be about the royal family they're story will be different. It's like New Mutants and X-men, same types of people but different stories.

Gerald Herrmann Well Inhumans are in the TV part of the MCU, but they're dealing with Nuhumans and Secret Warriors they haven't touched upon anything for the Royal Family, specifically because of the film. The movie people might not always be in the know with what's going on the TV shows but the TV shows know what's going on for the films.

I think the Inhumans film will happen eventually and that will be about the Royal family. Agents of SHIELD will keep focusing on smaller 'post infinity' style characters. Suicide Squad is definitely Bad vs. Evil. Also another question is if they are introducing Dr. Jason Woodrue because I know he was introduced in the horrible Batman vs. Robin portrayed by John Glover who voiced The Riddler in Batman The Animated Series/New Adventures of Batman as well as playing Lionel Luthor in Smallville.

Civil war has won
Jarella! Not Juniper, darn it: Princess Jarella! And not the Hulk's "girlfriend," but the wife of Bruce-Banner-in-Hulk's-body. (She just declared him her husband; apparently she had the authority to do that.) She was equally accepting of Hulk's personality and Banner's body; she represented true love and official acceptance of the whole character on every level possible, and definitely was not a "girlfriend of the week" type.
ALSO, Agents of SHIELD is serving as a great vehicle to expose the notion of Terrigenesis to non-comic hardcore readers.

For the producers and company at WB expected this film to hit the 1 billion mark, it's close but the numbers are going down faster than they expected. They are disappointed by the film.
Still.. A disappointment doesn't equal a flop.. It might not have reached their expectations (which btw Warner Bros never stated that themselves) the film made Alot of money and got people interested in seeing their upcoming slate of DC films so I feel like BVS did what it had to do

Considering the last two batman films made a billion each with no 3d tickets sales to help. BvS in a sense is kind of a flop.

Collider Heroes Drinking Game: Chug a beer every time Schnepp says a variation of "Rock it," shot of canadian whiskey every time Campea says something factually incorrect with extreme confidence, a sip of pinot grigio everytime Amy pulls a deep cut of comic knowledge out, and then a shower in the fetal position every time RMB says something creepy about a woman, "those lips and that face." You're drunk and crying in the tub half way through the show.
I left Iron Man 3 more disappointed than when I left Iron Man 2 and Batman v Superman. Let that sink it.
And while we're on the topic, Iron Man 2 gets better with time and more viewings.

Iron Man 3 and the Tony assaulting the enemies without his suit is important because it answers Cap's question: "Without your suit, what are you?" He shows us his specialty is intelligence and resourcefulness.
2 days till I get to watch Captain America Civil War. Can't wait to see it. I hope the screening is in Imax so I can see the full effect of what they intend to show us in Civil War.

I don't think that AoS in any way stands a barrier to the Royal Family being put to screen. Remember, Attilan is probably not even on the Earth. Whatever Inhumans live on Earth, even as old as Hive - they probably have no idea where exactly have they come from. They are offspring, forgotten and all by themselves. Same goes the other way.
Even the way terrigenesis looks - it's all about genetic manipulation. The Royal Family can legit do it differently because although they all share some inhuman gene - they are on a very different level of evolution.

I'm in the minority but I love Iron Man 3. I love that it is a Tony Stark story first and foremost. It's Tony Stark back to the wall relying on his brain while overcoming his PTSD. And I love it.
Actually your not in the minority most people loved it. Only diehard comicbook heads hate it an the only complaint is the mandorine twist. Me personally its in my top 5 superhero movies.

On first viewing I was kind of let down with the whole mandarin twist (I know I sound so cliche right now) but upon further viewings of the film I have grown to absolutely love it.
+Eric Prajogo I enjoyed IM3 for the same reasons you did. It was a Tony Stark film, not an IM film. I also understand why the Mandarin "fake" upsets some as well, so I can't say I loved it either. It presently ranks as #8 on my favorite MCU movies while IM2 ranks dead last on that list.
Hulk's girlfriend was Jarella. She was in the "Heart of the Atom" stories from the 70's. Great stories.

Iron Man 3 had a version of the Hall of Armour, I was happy. All for seeing Blackbolt in some capacity, selectively mute while one utterance can destroy cities, a stammerer knows. I may be casual to alot of Marvel and DC but it portrays a better world.
Agents of Shield is not ruining Inhumans. What Kevin Feige planning for the Inhumans movie is far from the story arc Agents of Shield is doing with the Inhumans characters. Agents of Shield is about the secert Worriors (or atlest that's where this season is headed) but movie is going to be about the royal family they're story will be different. It's like New Mutants and X-men, same types of people but different stories.
