Hi Vivmom I wanted to make sure you know about lump on your upper back next to spine. I am an RN and I just wanted to make sure you know it is there. I love all your videos and all you makes today were beautiful! Love your personality and attitude; you're a great morale booster to many😀
Oh man, how could I not? I hate that stupid thing!! It’s a harmless lipoma and I want it removed (naturally) but it will require surgery and with Brad’s business starting the timing isn’t great (insurance.) I truly hate that thing and I saw it was very noticeable on this video and just decided to say, “oh well. That’s me. Ain’t nobody perfect.”😂
Aww thanks Kat. My doctor is on top of it, I’ve had it checked many times and it’s just...UGLY. Thankfully that’s all it is, lol. I can’t wait to have it removed, although I may also be kind of disfigured from that, too.😭
Lipomas are very common and can grow to be huge. My daughter had a lipoma removed from her breast of all places just last month. Yes, it was benign and she’s very happy that’s all behind her now. I enjoy your makes, Viv! 😊
That 1st dress is my very FAV! I love the straps and the drape and the color and the fabric. Great fix on the fancy dress. Those skinny pants sure do LOVE your legs! You look amazing in them. Everything is super cute, and the zipper in those "strange zipper instruction" pants looks perfect from my view. I have several of those patterns in my stash. Thank you for the fun fashion show!
Viv, you could make reading the phone book sound gracious and entertaining (meaning I love ALL your videos) but your 'makes' are the ones I look forward to each month the most. You work so hard to create awesome clothes and outfits and we get the fun of watching your fashion show. You inspire me to get my sewing machine dusted off and put to use after the long gardening season. All I managed to sew this summer were the lace dusters for the challenge. We've had snow already so I want to sew some cozy clothes. Loved your ITY dress and the yellow duster outfit and anytime you wear skinnies you look like a fashion plate. Thank you again!
Oh my goodness Molly! Snow already, where are you? I'm in Northeast TN and it's been in mid to high 80s this week! I wore one of my fall makes Sunday and felt stupid cause it still feels like summer!
Thank you so much Viv for your friendship in the sewing blogs. You make me want to sew 24/7. But I have to sleep sometime. You give me confidence to do different patterns that ive been putting off. Thank you so much. By the way, you have a great figure. I must loose some weight 😀
Hi Viv, you just make my day, you have given me such joy, I’m living on my own for the first time In my life at the ripe old age of 69. As a teenager I made all my clothes on an old treadle machine and I loved it, so I’m going to give it a go again, will let you know how I go. Keep up the good work, you are such a loveable personality, sending you greetings from the wonderful Central Coast, near Sydney in Australia 🤩
Hello Helen! Thanks for this wonderful note. If you decide to take up sewing again, I am sending you wishes for success and enjoyment! Let me hear from you again!😃💕
Hi Viv,have you had your hair trimmed? I do envy you your hair........ The second dress you modelled is the nicest dress I have seen in a very long time, and you looked awesome in it...gorgeous. I love the skinny jeans too. You have had a very busy September,I’m guessing you have very early mornings and very late nights...could I have just a couple of cups of your energy please?! Have a lovely week sweet lady xxx
You look adorable in your fashions. Can't wait till I get my cataracts taken care of (probably december) I want to try sewing again. I used to sew but haven't since 1984. Lol Anyway I love your videos like this one and you are an inspiration while I'm waiting. Thanks much and God bless you and your precious family. See you again
That circle skirt dress is beautiful and you look stunning in it. Wear that dress someplace nice for dinnner before the weather gets too cool. You looked beautiful.
OMG! Lovely, lovely makes! (Even the ones you mentioned with issues!!). You’ve inspired me! You made 14 pieces since we last saw you? WOW! I need to light a match under my “you know what”! There are a couple of patterns I’d really like to get and make for myself too! Thanks Ms. Viv! 😘
These sewn garments are just amazing, Viv. I look forward to any and all tutorials you put together because I need them and I know you'll demonstrate them to where even I can figure it out. Thanks for sharing.
I love everything! Even the pants you disliked. Whatever the issue is, it did not show in the video. The skinny jean looking pants are just dynamite! The trim is a crochet lace. It was my favorite thing to use as trims on little wreaths I sewed back in the 80s. I still love it and your use of it is darling.
Haha! The vintage pattern is like the muumuu I made in junior high home ec a million years ago but you made it cute and currant. All nice outfits. I have a couple of those patterns so I love seeing them made up. Well done as usual.
That first dress is perfect on you! Love that style. The vogue ity turned out really well too. I can't believe how many things you got done! Incredible
It was sooo good to see the fashion show. Didn't realize how much I missed it. I absolutely adore the blue floral full circle dress. So many great garments.
Hi Vivmom! I love the 1960's duster. V9101 worked out good. Cute little knit top worked out nicely. The hacking patterns worked out great. The dusters are nicely matched up to make a complete outfit. I remember those baby doll tops, brought back memories. I love the one seam pants and top. A video about how to insert the square panel would be very interesting to see. It might be a good idea to sew double seam binding on the seams so they don't fray. The crochet trim on the inside neckband worked out nicely on the duster. A tutorial on s8724 would be good to show beginners how to sew fold over binding. The hacking caftan looks comfortable. Did you make that once before? I have finished sewing Harry's shorts, shirts, and pj's for our 4 month trip to Florida. I will now start on my garments unless he wants something else. Any teaching videos and tutorials would really be very helpful to everyone. Keep up the good work and have fun. Anna-Marie
Great JOB. So cute. I love the block animal print top and skinny pants. You looked 18 years old. hahaha.... I love it on you. Thank you so much. Everything is lovely. ~ L
Beautiful makes as usual Viv. My fav is that Vogue dress. It looks stunning on you. Love the skinny pants with the 2 toned gathered back top. I wish I could so as much. Keep it up 🙏👌🌸🦄🦄😍
Love all your makes! Wish I could get more accomplished but when I get home from work I don’t want to sew😢! I love to sew in the morning and work until early afternoon so as soon as I retire or quit I will be in heaven! Carry on!
Put your feet up when you get home and relax, Verna! I have the luxury of time these days. I know it could always change suddenly, we do have elder parents nearby, and this business start up of Brad’s is about to do me in🤪but I would be hard pressed for sewing motivation if I worked full time. You’ll get to your sewing when it’s a good time for you; no need to rush or worry. Weekends are good, too, but they go by in a blip!!
Have not sewn a thing for a month because I'm too busy...you've inspired me. Love the first dress and I really like the kwik sew back gathered panel tunic. You did a great job with the fabric placement on that piece and that outfit makes you look 30 yrs old.
Summing up: There are a few makes that I really like and will be watching again to make note of the pattern numbers (can’t even start on anything till I get through with making things for the Silver Spring Arts & Crafts Fair on 10/20.). But I’m determined to start making my self some clothes again. The last dress that you love ❤️, IMHO, would not be my fav, but I understand the “comfort factor” you mentioned. I just don’t think it does your great figure any justice. And hey...we’re all allowed to ❤️and wear whatever our little heart’s desire if it feels good to us.👍
Nancy Loomis You mentioned 10/20 Silver Spring Arts & Craft Fair.....is that Maryland? I’m in VA and would LOVE TO GO! Though I think Fredricksburg is having theirs that same weekend. What can I expect? Will there be lots of sewing vendors? Thanks! God bless.
Lovely show. Enjoyed comments about what to watch for in each pattern. You have been primarily hiding your great figure under so many loose outfits. You should wear more form fitting outfits. Flaunt it while you can girl. Love your channel.
Whoa. Were you on an intravenous feed in September? Did you stop to go to the bathroom? Were you chained to that Brother? That is one HUGE list of makes! And all so pretty! I was explaining to my daughter who Mrs. Roper is while she ooohed and aaahhed over your muu muu. She's my youngest, visiting for a couple of weeks and the only one whose fashion requirements are simply that "it's soft and comfy." Caftans to the rescue! She loves them! That knit circle skirt dress is a stunner. You look like you've lost weight, not that you (quite honestly) had any to lose. I also loved the babydoll top and disaster pants - cute combination despite the construction. But the real winners for me are those KS skinny pants. Everything with them was wonderful! You completely redeemed NL6340 for me, only goes to show that the fabric choice makes all the difference. That chambray dress is perfect for fall and give me chambray all day err day! (gah I LOVE Tencel!) I love the way you altered the fancy dress and I think that one is probably even prettier in person. The layering tank is wonderful - I hope I got that pattern, I know I thought about it but I can't remember if I did. Your kimonos/cardigans were all so light and airy and comfy and perfect for this transitional weather. Well done! Seems like September was all about clothes that fit and flatter your body - and you seriously nailed it! xo
Hi Jen! Thanks for the spectacular comment. Awww, so sweet! I’ve bought Maxi Lock from Wawak and it’s great, although kinda small. But lots of good colors and performs well. I’ve gotten the enormous spools from Vogue Fabrics Store (online) and they’re okay but def “lintier” than Maxi Lock. Thanks again for always giving me a boost!💕
I want your energy! All your makes were fabulous! How do you do it...I'm jealous 🤣 Now, girl - where do you put all those clothes you make? Do you use a bedroom as a closet? Please show us how you organize them. I need a closet SHOW and TELL. Unless, there was a video I missed on this??? If you made approximately 8 garments a months, for the past year, THAT'S 96 NEW CLOTHES ITEMS. Where are you putting them?? Thanks in advance 💜💛🧡
Hi CM! Aww heck, I don’t have anymore energy than the next guy. My favorite place is on the couch and it’s becoming a problem. Funny how nothing gets done when I’m on the couch scrolling UA-cam.😵I haven’t done a video on my closet, but I have received the question often. I do wear everything and I live in a 1972 townhouse outside of Washington, DC. Our closets are standard. I keep seasonal stuff rotated out and stored in our IKEA bed (boy is that thing genius). I purged my closet and drawers of 90+% of my store bought clothing. I use thin hangers. A bigger problem than the clothing storage would be my shoes. I also take clothes out for donation - the ones I don’t wear much or don’t really like. But that’s about it. And that number - 96 - is the amount of clothing I made last year. I’m aiming to beat it in 2019. I’d better sew for my family members, stat!
Viv, your garments are very nice. I noticed a large mass about 3" in diameter on your upper back. Have you considered having a physician look at the mass? I am concerned. Have a great day.
Hi Cheryl, I need to pin the other comments about my [harmless] lipoma. I do appreciate the concern. Lord knows I am well acquainted with it and my doctor is on it. Surgery is required for removal and with Brad’s business barely out of the egg, our insurance isn’t great and certainly this isn’t the time for elective surgery. So there it stays; I saw it in my edits but left it in, because I’m not perfect and I need to kick vanity where it matters, lol.
Oh you are such an inspiration! I love this batch! You have a gift for colour. So talented- you spurred me to sew that Mrs Roper dress. I thought I would mention an old - really old fix for the pants with the bad fly; sew up the fly after removing the waist band and put an invisible zipper in the back seam. Then re use the waist band or make new or use bias to finish the waist. Add hooks. Just an old fix. And gosh that yellow print so flattering!
I love your videos. I watch for them and get excited to get a new one. I don’t know how you get 14 outfits done in a month. Their all so pretty. I like them all. And you are the cutest. Thanks for all your encouragement.
Everything that you made was beautiful! You are a gorgeous model! One of my favorites is the black floral dress with the thin straps. The black background popped the various colors of the flowers. The leggings with the side slits are super nice too. It is so relaxing to watch you! Happy October and happy sewing!
Everything looks so fabulous, such fun fabrics and beautiful dresses. You are going to have to build a closet onto the back of the house or a "garment shed" Love the Simplicity chambray tunic, great layering piece. Can you tell me what fabric you used, or weight of the chambray. I am looking for some right now. Want to duplicate the Draper James dress with the little ruffle detail. The chambray you are wearing looks like it has great drape. Happy October Sewing! Thanks for your inspiration!
Hi Kathleen! I used a cotton chambray from Hobby Lobby for the layering tunic, in the prettiest almost periwinkle sky blue. The white threads are very visible among the blue. For the dress I used a thin tencel chambray from Fabric Mart. Thanks for stopping by, dear!
What I love about your makes are the pattern choices. You have such a good eye for flattering silhouettes on your body. My only criticism is that we don’t hear from you more often. 😩
Hey Viv, great makes. Love the skinny pants. They do look so good on you. I have wide calves so I am not sure if they will look good. You look great for your age even if you are a year older than me. You rock. Thanks for the sharing. Keep sewing and helping us stay inspired and connected. What is the pattern number for your white pants? Julie g
I was s happy to see your video in my alerts today! I love your makes. My favorite outfit was the yellow topper over the baby doll hack and skinny pants.😍
Hi Viv, Loved the little piece of elastic trick. Recently made a sleeveless dress out of quilting cotton. It had so much volume but I loved the flow it had -- ended up sewing in a casing and running elastic a few inches from the breast line. Love it so much!! Now I'm going to try your trick on one I made w/ties in the back that I really don't like. Oh, when you get a neckline that just doesn't make it, try a little 3'' strip of elastic in front. Brings it into a soft V and takes that wonky out. Happy sewing!
Do you still crimp your sleeves when inserting on the flat? Your crimping technique has taken the fear away but was wondering if it is needed for the flat?
That’s an excellent question and great reminder, Jaqui! I usually do not crimp flat insertion sleeves. I tried to insert the sleeves flat on my Kwik Sew tunic (with the gathered panel in the back) and they wouldn’t work. I didn’t even think to crimp them! Just sewed up the side seams and THEN crimped. I swear. Is my brain half dead? Lord have mercy.
Help Orlando Sewers! I am staying in Kissimmee on holiday from the UK. Which is the best Jo Ann to visit to get a stash of fabric?! So excited to go into one but I hear all are different. Thanks in advance 😁
Grear to see a Makes Video appear again, thank you so much. Of all the vlogs these are the ones that are so much help to all of us. Seeing the patterns, fabric and the garment on an actual person helps enormously when choosing future fabric and patterns. Thanks again and happy October to you 😊.
Hi Vivmom: I'm with Cindy! I'm guessing you saw that lump on your upper back. But, also, I have been watching your videos the last few weekends, and you're quirky, adorable personality has inspired me to sew. Just bought a mountains of patterns. Hopefully, I can use my new sewing room soon. Thanks again for the inspiration, and GET THAT LUMP LOOKED AT!! :) Hugs to you!!
What a great variety of styles, colors and fabric choices -- can't believe you would be "intimidated" by any pattern/company. Like your sharing insight/problems/modifications to the original patterns. Always fun to watch and see your finished designs!!
Once again, your makes were great! Loved the blue Vogue sun dress; it was very flattering. And put large patch pockets on the (prison) shift at the end; they’ll go perfectly with that style. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi Vivmom Just watching you here from UK England. Love your Fab makes and your bubbly personally. You have so much enthusiasm. Love it. Keep on Sewing .
Well, HELLO Viv! Loved the makes, and that Vogue 9101 was ADORABLE! I loved that dress and it looks beautiful on you! What cute outfits. The New Look pants with bad instructions are adorable and look great with the baby doll top. I love that you paired that top with another outfit... beautiful topper too! Ohhh, this makes me want to sew so badly, tired of waiting for this hand to heal. But it’s healed enough to type some.😉 I think I’m gonna need more emojis though!🤩 Blessings, all!💐
Very nice! Love to watch your videos! Very good taste in patterns and materials! Love every bit of your videos. Especially the patterns. Still looking for pattern #Simplicity 8332. :)
Hi Vivmom, Absolutely love all of your September makes. I especially liked the caftan (sp?). I must get my other house projects finished. I hear my sewing machine calling me and the other projects are occupying all of my time. Keep the videos coming. They are wonderful.
Hi, you seem to bring those patterns come alive, with the fabric you chose. Thy all nice. I was just wondering what you do with all the cloths you make ...!! 🤔😍🌹❤️🌹❤️
Everything was just "sew"! Thanks so much.. Loved the tunics. Love layering for fall and winter. You are the best. Short jackets paired with tunics are my fave!
Lady in "blue". This color looks fabulous on you! I miss your makes! What a treat today for me. Took a break on life and Vivmom was waiting to be seen! What a variety of outfits! What fun! I remember my caften I made in Junior High or like my kids say, middle school. I had snuck and shaved my legs for the first time with my dad's heavy metal razor. Cut my legs up badly. Thought that I had it solved by placing toilet paper on it. Next thing I know, I am sitting eating dinner and caften got "stuck" on my leg. Later, my mom who had seen on the blood spotting all over my cream colored caftan was yelling at me for shaving my legs! Lol!!!!!!!!! So I can never make another caftan!!!!!! Lol!!!!!! Good times!!!!!!
Saw your video for the first time today!! Your are sweet and a very good seamstress. I was called Vivi Lynn growing up. Short for Virginia Lynn. Thank you for sharing your talent!! Love your hair!!! Blessings!
Hey Viv, not the right place to ask but have you heard from Nikki from Sewing at Midnight lately? She was suppose to be 'back' in August but still nothing.. atad worried about her... cheers kerry from Australia
For N6643 I finally called up Cashmerette UA-cam video on inserting fly. I cut a fresh skirt front and the fly went in easily. Instructions that came with pattern were puzzling...from now on I will use the Cashmerette method. Oh, since this pattern had separate lap and under lap, I sewed those on then commenced Cashmerette instructions. BTW the pants look great.
I love seeing what you make. Some of the pattern instructions can be so over complicated. Like you I make adjustments to things, you have done fabulous work once again. Xx
Wow. I am amazed at how much you accomplish. Beautiful makes! Thank you. Thank you. I’m a little tempted to try the skinny pants - they look so great on you. Love, love the strappy circle skirt blue floral.
Hi, do a Google search , Peggy Sager fly insertion. You should get a UA-cam with her actually putting it together. She doesn't use extensions. It may be helpful in the future for you. I can't believe all the clothes you made this month. And the fix with the two tone dress. Beautiful!!!. Love all you have made. Love you.
Hi VivMom, so excited, found some vintage patterns at a thrift store for 10 cents each! And found some fabric in big scraps so here I go.....you have inspired me! The last dress you showed, the gray with the center seam, it looks puckered down the front seam. Can you stretch it and steam it to lay it flat? That gives it the home-made look. Would look great on YOU with a wide black belt too. Good job!
Hey Viv. I noticed nothing about you that’s not absolutely adorable. You are amazing. Your closet must be bursting at the seams. I love everything you make I just wish I had 1/2 the gusto you do to try new things. Girl you are a true creator. I watch you, Joy and Whitney (TomKat Stitchery). My sewing group The Sew n’ Sews are now watching your videos. They love too. I love sewing and I’m always in my sewing room. Love ya girl Kris
Hi Vivmom - I was all set to pick a favorite when I saw the second (Vogue) twirly dress, but then the new "favorites" just kept being shown. Obviously I love what you create. Thank you for the inspiration!
Great makes Viv! I love all of them. I’m behind on my videos. Hope to catch up soon. All your makes look gorgeous on you. Your vision from pattern to finished garment is amazing. You sure know how to envision the outcome. Hope all is going well with the new business. Keeping you in my prayers. I have some life changes going on right now. Prayers welcome. Have a great day Sweetie! 💜🤗💕😘🙏🏻❤️
Simplicity 8924.....I would love a tutorial on that tunic so much. I could wear it every day in different fabrics, appropriate for each season. I find that almost all purchased tanks are way too big in the armholes, especially for us well endowed ladies. I love how this tank fits you...beautiful!!! That pattern could be made fancy to wear with my pearls, or cozy to wear with my lounge pants. Please do a tutorial. You are so fun and talented. PS I'm hot, hee.
Hi Vivmom, love your videos!!! I have been watching for months & you inspired me. I have set up a sewing area in my home & started sewing. I have never made something for me to wear, but that’s the plan. Thank you for sharing your makes. I’ll keep watching.
You look good in everything you made. The fabrics you chose fit the patterns so well. That's my problem. Wrong size and/or wrong fabric. Absolutely love all ur videos!
Viv, you are amazing! I think you could make a grain sack look hot! Love the fancy dress even more in this light! Love the blue sundress, it is just like a little dress I purchased for my granddaughter from Old Navy. it was fairy-tale pretty. Love the watercolor kimono, and if I ever get spare time, I wish I could make one for my mom, and teach her a little more feminine style using your examples.
Love love love the flowered full circle skirted dress! I’ve just subscribed to your channel and I already have wardrobe envy 😉. I am a beginner sewist. My mom used to sew when I was little and because life happened I didn’t get to learn how to sew from her. Now she is no longer with us I will have to figure it out for myself. So I’m very grateful for your willingness to share your fixes and hacks with your viewers. Thank you so much!!! Also I’m amazed at the amount of makes a month you manage, you must be super super quick at sewing.
You are always so inspirational and I love watching your videos. You model the clothes so beautifully that I find myself buying the patterns so I can make them too...yes, it’s your fault lol 😜😂
lhi Viv, I was so looking forward to seeing this! Love your satin fancy dress, so elegant! And the pull on skinny pants - we call those jeggings over here - I'd like to have a go at making them :)
Viv your 2nd dress is so flattering on you. The top portion fits you so well. Thank you for your comments about pant patterns. When you are a curvie person like me. pants are already difficult and the fit I think is more noticeable with pants; flies are difficult enough. So thank you for the support. Hopefully the big 4 are listening. Happy October sewing.
Wow Viv you out did yourself this month! Great as always. Love your personality. Such a pleasure to watch and learn. Bring on those tutorials! Can’t wait for next months makes!
Love your videos, I'm a relatively new viewer but you are just such fun and informative too. Love the way you talk about being intimindated by patterns even though you sew loads, makes me feel better. Thanks, Sarah
Love the change to your fancy dress....looks much better. The caftan and tunic at the end is something I will wear......will be looking for those patterns this weekend...
I know you are busy sewing but if you could find a minute to tell me what strapless bra you wear. I'm not huge busted but heavy and haven't found a bra that is effective and comfortable. Thx! Love your makes and your fashion show.
Here's the thing. I think charting all my patterns with fabric would take too much time. Do I need to have it in my phone? I have 2 copy paper size boxes of patterns--maybe about 15 over, new patterns, waiting to be made. I slap a post it to the front of my pattern envelope about fabric choice and I also write down the pattern #, fabric and season w/year in a small notebook. These are my plans. I like to make a season ahead. Sometimes I have to change the date to the following year if I get behind. But it gets done. I cross them off when I finish. Most satisfying. This works for me. I am turned off by the poor reviews for the apps. I was just wondering if you have a specific way that you keep track of your plans. I also started to write W for woven or K for knits to the front of the envelope so I don't have to keep reading the pattern for the fabric info to cut out some precious time when I am deciding what to make or buying fabric. I can spend hours doing that. And Viv I really think your videos are the best. Thank you.
Cindy S I noticed it too. Most likely a lipoma, which is benign, but you should get it checked out.
Sorry. Just saw your reply. We’re just looking out for you Vivmom! Love your makes!
I guess it was the 2nd dress I was describing.
Me too. Great style, fabric, total winner!
Viv, you could make reading the phone book sound gracious and entertaining (meaning I love ALL your videos) but your 'makes' are the ones I look forward to each month the most. You work so hard to create awesome clothes and outfits and we get the fun of watching your fashion show.
Me too! I look forward to makes the most.so much fun!
Hi Viv, you just make my day, you have given me such joy, I’m living on my own for the first time
In my life at the ripe old age of 69.
As a teenager I made all my clothes on an old treadle machine and
I loved it, so I’m going to give it a go again, will let you know how I go.
Keep up the good work, you are such a loveable personality, sending you greetings from
the wonderful Central Coast, near Sydney in Australia 🤩
Hello Helen! Thanks for this wonderful note. If you decide to take up sewing again, I am sending you wishes for success and enjoyment! Let me hear from you again!😃💕

You are Amazing! Seamstress.Beautiful.and you give us Hope that we could one day make ourselves beautiful clothes.
Of course you can, Cathy! I have no doubt about that.💕
Oh boy, where would I start. Beautiful makes. My favorite is the ITY circle skirt dress.
Love the spaghetti strap dress!
Haha! The vintage pattern is like the muumuu I made in junior high home ec a million years ago but you made it cute and currant. All nice outfits. I have a couple of those patterns so I love seeing them made up. Well done as usual.
That vogue dress is gorgeous! All your makes look great on you...wish I had your figure!
That first dress is perfect on you! Love that style. The vogue ity turned out really well too. I can't believe how many things you got done! Incredible
It was sooo good to see the fashion show. Didn't realize how much I missed it. I absolutely adore the blue floral full circle dress. So many great garments.
Watching oldies to get my VivMom fix! Hope you are well my friend!
Keep it up 🙏👌🌸🦄🦄😍
Gemma Sremchevich I love those skinny pants too. Ready to make that one.😀
To reinforce the skirt seam use grosgrain ribbon or seam binding..
Love those toppers! Everything great!
you look fabulous in your skinny pants!!!!!
Thanks! God bless.
Carolyn Coppola there is one in Maryland that day
New Joann’s mailer shows vogue 5.99 each and Butterick and McCalls at 2.99 each. They each have different dates to be on sale check your mailer.
jay kay I noticed that too.
Well 2.99 is better than 5.00, but still disappointing. I’m sure their sales fell off miserably, at 5.00! Hoping hobby lobby still s at 1.99.
That last dress is my favourite too.
Lovely show. Enjoyed comments about what to watch for in each pattern. You have been primarily hiding your great figure under so many loose outfits. You should wear more form fitting outfits. Flaunt it while you can girl. Love your channel.
Thanks for the great show!
It was lovely to see you in your dresses . I loved some of them so much I wish I could do them as well . Keep it up . God bless you dear
Well done! Seems like September was all about clothes that fit and flatter your body - and you seriously nailed it! xo
Also - I'm shopping on Wawak and can't remember which serger thread you recommended. Can you clarify?
Another FAB collection Vivmom. I don't know where you get the time.
Love your videos. Bought the “ skinny pants “ pattern today. Look forward to sewing them.
I want your energy! All your makes were fabulous! How do you do it...I'm jealous 🤣
Now, girl - where do you put all those clothes you make?
I’m trying to love wearing dresses but I have 2 total in my closet. I really like the skinny pants with the tunic top. Enjoyed your show and tell. ❤️
@@vivmomsews4962 Thank you for responding. I am glad the physician has diagnosed the mass and it is not serious.
I really like the spaghetti strapped dress. That material is beautiful and of course the skirt part is a what every girl dreams of no matter the ago.
Great video, I love your monthly makes! The second dress (Vogue?) was my favorite, that material was gorgeous on you. Beautiful and fun collection.
Fall was September 21 Viv lol. But love the makes
Hi Viv, I love all your patterns but your little rust coloured top so flattering you looked great
Love love love!!! Those skinny kwick sew pants are fabulous!
@@vivmomsews4962
thanks for your response, I will look for this. A good excuse for a trip to Hobby Lobby and an order from Fabric Mart!
The Butterick dress is very classy and stunning on you. I really liked the hem line. I need to sew again!
What I love about your makes are the pattern choices. You have such a good eye for flattering silhouettes on your body. My only criticism is that we don’t hear from you more often. 😩
I haven’t sewed that much this year much less last month. Sew inspired!!!
Julie g
Hi Jjgirl! I did list the pattern number for those but it’s next to the kimono. They are Vogue 9176, with volume removed. Thanks for your compliments!
That first vogue dress is really beautiful (I made the other view on the pattern from a ITY and is one of my favourites) love your vlogs 💕
Yes perhaps it depends on the pattern..... I am just still excited about crimping 😃 thanks for replying so fast too ❤️
Love love love the blue tunic. Yes, please do a tutorial on it.
Crochet trim? My brain does that too!
All of your makes look SUPER CUTE!!! Especially that 1st make. I love knits. I ordered quite a bit from Fabricmart.🥰🥰🥰
$1.99 Joann's. Apparently Simplicity is $1.99 on door buster, today thru Saturday. It's not in the flyer, nor the website.
But it’s healed enough to type some.😉
I think I’m gonna need more emojis though!🤩
Blessings, all!💐
Enjoyed ALL your makes! Thanks SO MUCH for sharing!
Hi Vivmom, love all the september sewing projects!!! Great video
Viv, well done....!! All lovely...!! I enjoyed watching it all...!! :-))
Glad to hear it is a benign lump! ugh.
Glad to see the "fix" on the dress!! Much better-fits great now. Very nice!
And I have to make S8657!
Just saw your September makes love love love them all and you look great in them I love watching your monthly makes
You are always so inspirational and I love watching your videos. You model the clothes so beautifully that I find myself buying the patterns so I can make them too...yes, it’s your fault lol 😜😂
Love them all! Yes, PLEASE do a tutorial! I love when you do this! Thanks for all your hard work, Viv! Hugs
lhi Viv, I was so looking forward to seeing this!
Thank you.
