And that was first time I made dresses with sleeves, all inspired by you! l also did an alteration of an old top. All your makes are so beautiful and all your video are very inspiring. You are not only an accomplished sewist, but you really are a fashion designer in your own right. You make whatever pattern you decide to use do the magic it was created to accomplish, and then some... by adjusting the fit to flatter the model, and using a fabric's unique characteristics; such as, texture, color, drape and/or structure etc. in a way that is adventuresome, ingenious, and at times even risky to elevate the garment and even give it added personality with trims, specialized stitching etc. that pleases the wearer giving increased appeal and charm. Your lounging gown was absolutely stunning on you. At once, dramatic and arresting. It almost seems a shame to relegate it to home apparel. I think it would make a fabulous New Year's Eve gown with the right hair style, accessories, and fancy high heeled sandals Just some thoughts that come to mind. Kudos, to you and your family. Your monthly makes are my favorites! You did a great deal of sewing for a low volume month. The brown dress with the jacket is one of my favorites for a basic sew. I loved them all though.
Wonderful fabric choice. Blue dress is wonderful! I like that heavier sturdy knit. I like no zippers, too.

I woke up early Monday morning to a makes video! Yay! I think my favorite is the color block Vogue dress. I also like the 1970s caftan style dress. Every time I look at a vintage sewing pattern, I envision what it would look like made with today's fabrics. I love when you sew a vintage pattern. Come back soon!
