I love them all, as usual. If I have to pick a favorite, I have to say that I love that maxi that you had so much trouble with. I always wonder why they make facings so hard. Many times I have resorted to using the pattern pieces from the dress and just cut them off. Sew them together, turn them, and voila. Maybe there's something I don't see, but glad you got through it. It's beautiful. They all are. Nice to meet Collin, finally. He did a good job. So nice of you to give us a personal review of how they work out. You look beautiful. Thanks for posting.

Vivmom, you make the most beautiful clothes for yourself and family. This entire video of fabric choices and patterns went so well with the garments you sewed. There was not one outfit you made for yourself that I did not like. I loved them all. I must say, the pink floral dress with your hair combed upward was indeed my favorite. It would be a lovely Easter dress for you to wear.

The Not-so-Easy Vogue dress, with the pink and black flowers, is gorgeous!!! Also love the yellow sixties dress and the comic strip fabric is awesome!!

1968 maxie dress. yep. have the original pattern. have been using this package for more than 5 decades now. As new materials came out I would make a new item. it is my go-to pattern package. yah, it took a bit of a learning curve. I learned and just by adjusting pattern measurements I have so many items in my closet right now from adapted nightgowns, loungewear, summer and winter dresses. the list goes on and on. shorten lengthen silks to Jersey knits. It looks as beautiful on a 70yo as it did that 17yo. adjust measurements for comfort, ease of wear by fabric, Lined unlined built in bras laces and trims. I learned French seams, various linings. This "very expensive" 1968 pattern for affordable material has become "very expensive" materials, trims and linings. Thank you for showing pattern dress, being honest with its issues and showing yesterday adapts to today splendidly. lol tyvm

8469 Vogue Hobby Lobby dress. A winner! Brighten our Easter with that pretty dress. Circle dress in blue is also very attractive, not just for the wearer but for us out here too! What a great bunch of choices. Love just about everything.

Don't know how you do so many great outfits done in one month. I remembered a lot of the fabrics from your hauls, some of which I liked but couldn't visualize sewn (ie the sewer print). Gorgeous!! You go girl!!!
Vogue 8469 The white, black and pink flowered dress is stunning. Really nice. Doesn't hurt that you are sort of tall (said by an envious vertically impaired person, 4'11"). Love your videos and makes.

Hope they listen to you.( pattern companies). They sure tried hard to please, awhile back( 10 plus years), by simplifying tailoring! Taught one of my twins to thread a machine!

That McCall 7122 is so cute, love the circle fabric. I think those brown stripped pants are PERFECT, especially with the tunic. You were one busy lady in March. I love the rolled hem feature on my serger, I used it on one of my dresses last summer, it's such a pretty finish.

Simplicity 7858 is fantastic! It’s so Doris Day, she wore the best clothes. That dress looks fantastic on you. I liked the other two as well, the pink one is my second favorite. Threads has a very good tutorial on invisible zippers, it looks like the easiest way to install one.
