Seriously these patterns look so much better when you make something with them. The fabrics and colors you pick really bring these items to life.

First, a shout-out to Brad for being supportive of your channel and your sewing. He looks great in the summer suit and gets a gold star for the 30+ miles bike ride! Second, Viv...you do a great job of bringing the patterns to life. Sometimes I just don't "get" the picture but seeing you wearing the finished garment again brings that "oh! I get it!" moment. Yay!
Oh my goodness! There is no way I could pick a favorite! Everything is wonderful!
Sewing rooms are on the same vortex line as dryers. I think it is the accumulation of fabric that magically makes stuff disappear. I love the New Look red white and blue flowers, but I am totally in LOVE with the funeral dress and the cream color floral Kwik Sew. Everything was so wonderful. That silvery gray over the dark pants - classy yet relaxed!
I truly liked the shorts, top and jacket set. It is very tempting to carry the instruction into another room to read and then leave there, lying on the coffee table, next to that coffee which is surely quite cold now.
My 14 year old granddaughter has had me make S9020 joggers and long sleeve shirt 3 times and she still wants more. Very popular style for teens!
You inspire me. I’ve sewn for 45 plus years and settled into quilting due to my plus size. Ive sewn wedding party dresses multiple times, ballet costumes, and play theater dresses in the past. I’ve lost close to 70 pounds. But you inspire me to sew for me again.
I'm also a quilter who is just beginning to dabble in sewing clothes again and love watching Viv's makes. Congrats on the 70lbs that is awesome.

I am so glad you are so prolific. I can't get enough of your makes fashion shows. The funeral dress is beautiful. I will see if I can find that pattern and some pretty fabric, and try my hand at making it. Pants and top are so pretty..I also agree with another comment. The jacket fits well and looks beautiful. Vivmom, I have to thank you for sharing your makes and for being so true to who you are. I have thought about getting back into sewing for a very long time, and after finding your channel not so long ago I found the courage to learn how to alter a pattern to fit me. I have been enjoying the journey with you by my side (little did you know), and made five new tops for my vacation trip this last week. Thanks for helping me find the courage to make my dreams a reality. I love to sew!

I love watching your monthly makes. I really like that you use vintage patterns and are able to sew them up into garments that look newly designed. You have a delightful delivery. I've watched just about all of your videos!
Love the tie front top and pants. That and the short outfit is nothing but class.
The best thing about your makes is that you share your failures. You also share why they failed, what you try to do to save the garment. I think of you as I am sewing and ripping out and then resewing a project. You give me courage to sew-on. Thank you for all your information and your fun deliverance.

All the makes are beautiful including the nightgown but that Simplicity top that ties in front just made my jaw drop. It is so flattering and looks rich. Congrats on your June makes.

I'm right there with you Catherine! That's one of the many reasons I love watching Viv. not only is she inspirational for pattern recommendation, fabric stores, and how the garment turns out. But I also really do appreciate seeing where she points out her or the patterns Mistakes...when I get in my sewing room I tend to be hard on myself, when something fails it's REALLY a let down.....nice to see people who sew 20 garments a month can still make mistakes.

Once again, you have shown us some wonderful makes. You have a good eye for color. Because of this, your garments have a high-end characteristic. I loved Brad’s shirt and Bermuda shorts. That flora linen complimented the plaid linen. Neither were over done. Your jacket, blouse and shorts looked great together.And your “hacked” top went perfect with the black pants. Great job.

Simplicity must have listen to you! Here in the 🇬🇧 they reduced the price of patterns by 50%👍 cannot ever remember them doing that! 🤣🤣
Hi Karen, I live in 🇬🇧 too and simplicity and New Look both have 50% sales twice a year. Usually for 2/3 weeks. I try and save pattern numbers of things I really like and buy them then. Hope that helps you x

Many lovely things today. Brad's outfit looked very classy and comfortable, loved the neck feature, clever girl. My 2nd favorite was the top with the black pant. That top looked fabulous. I could see it with a long flowing skirt for a stunning evening look. The charmeuse was delicious, but the combo with the shorts and jacket looked like you just stepped off your private plane. I absolutely love the Simplicity hack patterns! You did a great job on all the projects. The lavender dress is a sacrifice to the sewing Gods. And, as far as losing things in the sewing studio, there are such things as sewing gremlins. I believe!

They’re so inspiring and best of all they are Big Four so I can actually buy tissue patterns and not have to cut out pdf prints, which frankly, I never have patience to do. On with the sewing! 😁
I agree with using big 4 patterns. I'm old school and I don't like downloading and taping/cutting patterns. If I'm going to tape and cut a pattern it's because I'm altering it to fit me.

I really like the shorts and the shirt that you made for Brad.. The inside print from the shorts on his shirt was very nice. I think the last dress with the blue floral print is super pretty, but I like everything.

I have M8108 from 1996 that is the same pattern as your 6102! My pattern is from 1996. I have shortened it to a tunic top.
