This is a thing of beauty. A man of my caliber. My favorite part was the clamp-hammer. Brilliant. Although, the sawhorses were overkill. You had perfectly good cinder blocks right there.
Thanks - glad to know someone else thinks so too. Yea sometimes I get tunnel vision in my overkilling and miss the obvious cinder blocks 🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯🧑🦯❤️
@@TheDuttonExperience wow I never would guessed how much this warms my heart. Creativity inspiring creativity is one of the most incredible devices of the human condition. If you’d email those pictures to andycremeans@yahoo.com I’d love to see them. Thanks for taking the time to share this with me!
I am a Mason of 33 yrs. I have put in fireplaces and woodstoves, lol a few times. But this is the most RED neck set up I have ever seen. Lolol I really enjoyed it. Hope you don't have to waste your beer. Blessings 🙂👍
In your experience, what is minimal safe distance between stove and metal shield? I'm curious, because i have extreamely small place (7x5 ft, plywood), and with recomended clearence of 12 inches (with metal shield) - it's imposible. With any size of stove.

You've inspired me and I've fabricated a wall thimble using old brake rotors. I wish there was a way to send pictures.
Also, I'm curious, you wouldn't happen to have the plans still from the warlordhammer?
@@TheDuttonExperience I’ll check and get back you

Ray!!!! 😂😂😂😂 this made me smile. Glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes we’ve just got to play the hand we’re delt, even if it’s a dumpy red neck hand😅😅😅
Is there anything beer can't fix 🤔
I’ve yet to find anything but I’m not one who gives up easily; if it’s out there, I’ll find it! 😂😂
Thanks Tred, have a good day.
Use cement board it's cheap
2 years now no fire .

My heat shield is currently about 1 inch behind stove and about 2 inches to the wall. The wall isn’t heating up to any degree of concern.
