A really honest vlog, it's nice that you being able to sit and prattle on is helping in some way. You're doing really well coping as you are coming off your meds. I live with depression and it's nowhere close to easy to do. Each bad day can be ticked off as a bad day lived through. Keep the videos coming duck x
Your videos make me feel so much better. Knowing that it’s ok to sometimes feel down and you don’t need to feel happy all the time really has helped me. Love the book recommendations too. You make me want to try other genres 👍
I so enjoyed your video today. I so understand what you’re going through as well. Having a rough year as well but seeing someone as relatable and eloquent as you sure has helped. I feel grateful as well I have a supportive husband who gets me through. The love of reading has just been life saving. ❤️❤️🌞🇨🇦
Hey Tyrone, thanks for sharing your journey, just wanted to say I found you through UA-cam content - and stayed for it! I haven't really seen the other stuff you talk about yet even (not so much on the short form places, only a little bit) but I love what you do. I love that you are authentic and you are normalising ... life? If that makes sense??? You're so right in calling out how social media presents a perfect aesthetic and how that can make us feel bad for not having that. I definitely feel that a lot. Keep going
you never chat rubbish and not boring! I love your videos, you got through all the emotions and I have cried and laughed with you! Keep it going and hope you have having a good day! ❤
I have just recently discovered your channel. I love your honesty, realness, and relatability. Please be careful coming off your meds. I think you are supposed to ween yourself off them so that may be contributing to your fluctuations. best of luck with that and hope to see more posts from you.
Hi Tyrone, imagine how surprised l was to see a Matt Haig book on here as I’ve just read his novel ‘How to Stop Time.’ My first thought as l read it was l must recommend this to you as he has a very insightful way of dealing with the past. He has helped me put into perspective thoughts that plague me. It’s a great read and l hope that you’ll give it a go.❤
You inspired me to put together my list of recommendations for the year together today. Which had me reviewing all my bookish notes. I see that I also read Reasons to Stay Alive this year, and while it didn't make my list of top reads in 2024, I did find quite a bit of it beautiful and I can definitely understand how it will speak to some people, and that is great. Of the fourteen books I did end up with on my list, most of them are murder and adventure stories, but I'd like to recommend The Nine Pound Hammer by John Claude Beamis for you now - it's marketed towards younger readers, but I'm 40 and I still enjoyed it - it's a fantasy/steampunk type story based on an American folktale, it's fast passed, and a pirate queen rides an alligator, so what's not to like?
Ty, you’re doing brilliantly so please don’t stop doing these chatty videos. I recently deleted my Instagram (I deleted Facebook in 2020) because I was tired of it all. Having dealt with my own mental health issues I get how hard it is but remember you’ve survived 100% of your bad days!!. I’d highly recommend The 100 years of Lenni & Margot by Marianne Cronin, it’s a beautiful book & I still wonder about what the characters would be doing now. Keep your head up fella ❤
@@rachelbosworth2438 ohhh I have some easy fantasy reads for you. Il do some on future videos. I read all sorts to be fair and I'm not reading much fantasy at the minute to be fair
I miss exercising. I used to exercise often to ward off low grade depression, then my knee started giving me trouble. Ugh. I just finished reading "The Magnificent Ambersons" a 1918 novel by Booth Tarkington which won the 1919 Pulitzer. I didn't fly through it, but I believe it will stick with me. Cheers from the states.

You do such an awesome job 🎉, I know for a fact that is not easy to make videos, and you my friend are crushing it 🙏💪🤝 On a happy note, I just received my copy of, Part of Your World by Abbey Jimenez today! I’m going to start using that line now too🤣… I’m so glad that we can laugh at our trauma😎 And, Happy early birthday 🥳🎊
I’m back in a place where I know I need antidepressants but because of my other health issues (the reason I need the antidepressants in the first place lol) I’m unable to get to see a dr so I’m just having to carry on like nothing’s wrong. The last time I was on antidepressants was more than 10yrs ago and after 6mths they stopped helping me so I went back to the dr. He basically told me to grow up and sent me away
I wouldn't recommend Fourteen Days. It was written by members of The Author's Guild as a fund raiser. But a novelty for the reader, not a cohesive story. Some high points, but overall not "feel good".
