...enjoy the attention-to-detail Style OG...am i the only one who remembers a brief? time (the 60’s?) when we wore our belt turned 90degrees so the buckle road on your left or right hip ?
I've learned more about style from watching your channel than anywhere else. I always wondered why some people always look great. Now I know. They watch your channel. I never realized how much is involved in looking good.
What's up my bro Og. I think my G I have to many belt. 6 of them for me. Great video and your right fit is key. Love that sweater my bro. Salute my friend.
Style OG, thanks for the info on belts length. I have dress belts and casual. I go with leather and a very basic buckle to play it safe. Salute to the family.
Great topic. I never thought about upping my belt game but now I will be aware of matching colors. Sometimes it's the little touches like this that can make all of the difference. SALUTE!
Been rocking Anson belts for over a year now. I have brown leathers for my suits and wintertime chinos and the canvas belts for my summer chinos! I just pulled the trigger on three straps which include cordovan and black leathers as well as three great looking buckles! Great video and thanks for negotiating the offer on our behalf! Salute my brother!
I don't know how I stumbled upon your channel; but what a find! It's so refreshing. I'm going to share it with every man I know, young and old. I' am so sick of seeing these guys walking around like vagabonds! Keep up the good work!! You're right the clothes make the man!!
Excellent video 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 in two weeks is my anniversary I want to get a belt for my husband. This video made it so easy for me to pick 👌🏽👌🏽 thank you so much. New subbie here 🙋🏽♀️🙋🏽♀️
I have leather black and brown belts. My casual belts are two football belts. One sand colored and the other tan. I only wear the football belts when my shirt is out. For me. They are quickly to adjust and can't he worn out. Video right on time as I'm currently matching Ferragamo drivers and belts. Salute.
Good topic. The right belt sets it off! I try not have as many as I use too. I have been on the belts without holes for a little while. Thanks for Anson site. I will be checking that out immediately. You good Sir are the best! Please keep these awesome videos coming...
Style O.G., I’m adding another dimension to things when you have bigger belt loops, as are often found on casual slacks or jeans. It opens a new door to a plethora of styles and colors.
What about the needlepoint belts with the embroidery in them for the more summer preppy style I'm assuming that's a no no but if you do wear it the rest of the outfit should be pretty solid colors correct?
Salute OG! Important and great info on the belts. I like how you broke down the difference between casual and dressy belts. And the cardigan! You’re killing it, bro!
Style O.G. thanks for the information about getting the belt size that is two inches longer than My waist size. Now Eye know, and knowing is half the battle
Thanks for the rules Jeff, I knew the basics but the additional info will be even more helpful. I invested in five Anson belts last year an I love them. As a veteran I sometimes still do a "gig line" is this good or bad.
I found my kore belts that I bought years ago on your recommendation better made with more styles over my anson belts. I have 2 of each brand so just my 2 cents.
Thanks, Jeff. Clear and concise as always. I have a large and varied wardrobe.....except for belts. Thanks for making the subject clearer and inspiring me to complement my outfits with some other belts. Time to go to the shops.
I can’t find your video when you had a sponsor for prescription eye wear. I wanted to order a few pairs from them. If you could, please let me know their name.
As for what color belt to shoes, it generally applies to leathers. Match your leathers and match your metals. Using non-leather belts can be used to get around that rule. Fred Astaire was known to use a tie instead of a belt at times and some other classic dress stars of the past did at times not use belts but side adjuster on their pants. I think for the non-standard color dress shoes (non-black or non-browns) choose a belt color that does not match the dress shoe but compliments the whole outfit. The maroon dress shoe can still go with any dark red leather belts like chili, oxblood, or burgundy.
Should also get a wide enough belt for casual jeans because if it’s too narrow, the belt loops will buckle and overlap the belt. The belt should just squeak through the loops snug like.
Always the cleanest shirts on the internet. What Brand of button down shirts do you wear in your videos? The collars are always perfect. I know all about million dollar collar but what is the shirt?
I stopped wearing felts 30 years ago. I wear braces (cooler than saying "suspenders"). I'm a fat old man, and belts just don't work for me. And braces really compliment the look with a suit.
This video is helpful. I've also been advised to always wear a belt for a handy weapon. Hopefully no one will ever need it for that. I loved the silver buckle/silver watch combo.
Any skinny belts you'd recommend? My new ones are fine but I still feel like they could be skinnier. I'll still read the Anson site though great video!
I was happy to see they offer ladies belts as well. These have been AWESOME for wearing with riding and hiking pants. I wanted belts that could handle rougher activities and still look polished. I was concerned about scratches, flaking, and tarnishing on the buckle at this price point, but I haven’t had any issues.
I like what you said about the belt not being the star...I dont personally think anything should ever overpower the Man. I like everything on me to subtle, just old enough or finally eclectic enough to where it entices conversation from whom I'm with...unless its work and doing what I do to make my paper...then its boots jeans and a polo...standard money gear.
Anson belts are great! I have a bunch of their straps and buckles. I like how the straps and buckles are interchangeable within the same size. The ratchet system is ingenious. Micro adjustable and no creases in the belt from the buckle.
Jeff I didn't expect to see you so up close and personal lol. But anyway you didn't tell us how to position the belt below the belly button, above the belly button. Or on the belly button. And does it matter if you got a six pack or a pot belly. For some reason I struggle with this.
Btw.... Anson belts are pretty nice. Great quality and options. Downside id how you hang them and how you have to purchase a specific belt holder. That's really the only negative. That's also more expensive than necessary tbh.... So.... I dig his sponsor lol
I recently bought 3 Ansonbelts (saw video’s from Alpha M , he was also very excited about it) , and man, I love these! I had very expensive belts from Gucci. Sold them all, because they draw to much attention.Ansonbelt is so much better and way more stylish in my opinion. I think I’m going to buy another three Ansonbelts, really ridiculous that you can buy that kind of stuff for so little money) 😊🤩
OG that magenta cardigan is what “legends” wear my brother....
Thanks Ron!
If you know you know.

Good choice!
salute jeff, had to show my dad this video because the way he used his belt back in the day was not on the list.

I'll have to check out Anson Belts. I'm getting tired of replacing belts every 5 months!
I usually go adjustable side tabs on my dress pants. Good info, though. Salute OG
Once again you hit the nail right on the head. This topic I need to work on.
Thanks again OG
Very welcome
Looking like a king in that purple cardigan OG.
Thanks!
Style O.G. thanks for the information about getting the belt size that is two inches longer than My waist size. Now Eye know, and knowing is half the battle
Yes Sir!
I have 3 Anson belts so far. Likely to pick up another because they are great for that sleek line look.
appreciate the feedback!
Alright I’ve been waiting on this one. Good work
Appreciate it!
I would do 5 belts. I guess it depends on the quality. Thanks for the video. Sometimes we think we need more. You put it all in perspective
I keep 3 shades of brown, one ox blood, and one black. I will try out those Anson belts for sure though. Salute!
Salute Greg!
The shades you are using are dark brown, mid-brown, and light brown?
Kore Essentials makes the best no holes type belts as far as I have experienced.
I love a dope belt! It's one of my favorite accessories! I've got suede ones, leather ones, even material belts!
appreciate the input!
Salute OG!!

Thanks for the rules Jeff, I knew the basics but the additional info will be even more helpful. I invested in five Anson belts last year an I love them. As a veteran I sometimes still do a "gig line" is this good or bad.
Great information OG. Question,,,how do you get your dress collars to stay up and appear freshly pressed??
Million dollar collar
I found my kore belts that I bought years ago on your recommendation better made with more styles over my anson belts. I have 2 of each brand so just my 2 cents.
Thanks, Jeff. Clear and concise as always. I have a large and varied wardrobe.....except for belts. Thanks for making the subject clearer and inspiring me to complement my outfits with some other belts. Time to go to the shops.

Thanks for the belt review!!
Any time!
Nice! I'll check out Anson belts.
Please do!
That sweater is hittin’ it bro.
Never considered matching the buckle w/ accessories. Thanks.
What are your thoughts on reversible belts?
they can work
I have one in dress size and one in casual size for use in travel when carry space is very limited.
Pimp mister OG jeez drop that knowledge
I can’t find your video when you had a sponsor for prescription eye wear. I wanted to order a few pairs from them. If you could, please let me know their name.
Good Content 👌🏾 O.G
Thanks 💯
What color belt do you recommend for gray, white, maroon, or olive dress shoes?
As for what color belt to shoes, it generally applies to leathers. Match your leathers and match your metals. Using non-leather belts can be used to get around that rule. Fred Astaire was known to use a tie instead of a belt at times and some other classic dress stars of the past did at times not use belts but side adjuster on their pants.

Nice video. In addition to fit, your belt should always line up with your gig line.
Good tip!
Can you make a dress video for college students
What if a light brown belt matches light brown shoes (nearly) exactly? Thinking of the tie & pocket square rule...
You can match your shoes and belt exactly
Should also get a wide enough belt for casual jeans because if it’s too narrow, the belt loops will buckle and overlap the belt. The belt should just squeak through the loops snug like.
Always the cleanest shirts on the internet. What Brand of button down shirts do you wear in your videos? The collars are always perfect. I know all about million dollar collar but what is the shirt?
Tie Bar
Thanks style OG. Never knew that...
No problem!
Thanks for the useful tips OG salute
No problem!!

Nice!

80's power suit?
1920's power suit. Midnight blue like Edward VII
Any time the trousers go to the tailor, I add suspenders buttons to the list if not already there.
Priceless belt sense Style_OG SALUTE!
Salute Dameon!
This video is helpful. I've also been advised to always wear a belt for a handy weapon. Hopefully no one will ever need it for that.

Belts are a essential accessory to pull off any outfit. PEACE AND BLESSINGS OG.
Blessings Al!
I definitely need to invest in some belts. Great content OG
Thanks Rich!
Belt with shorts. Thoughts?
What about other shoe colors, do you match your belt to burgundy or other colors? Is it acceptable to wear dark brown belt with dark burgundy?
dark brown or black would be my choices..
nice color textile OG
Thanks Pedro!

Just as I need to shop for belts
I'm psychic...
What’s the best way to store a belt?
ie, is it best to hang them up on hangers
I use a cedar belt hanger myself.
This dude is smooth
I also like the micro belts because they don't wear out as much as the traditional belts with holes.

Absolutely the best belts ever never will I get another belt with holes

Anson's belts micro-adjustable fit was an invention that has been overdue, way overdue.
For real!
I just discovered ratchet belts even though they’ve been around for quite a while. The greatest invention since canned beer.
